California Corporation?
I currenlty have a corporation and own a valid checking account and credit cards. Work have been really slow and I hold been spending adjectives my savings and I am running out. I am the solely person down on the corporation. What will happen if I stop paying the credit cards? Will the creditors come after me to collect the return?Answers: Probably.
Most of them slip in a clause surrounded by the fine print that you are personally liable. Check the contract discreetly, and if you signed it as a officer of the corporation.
Have you Personally Guaranteed the credit cards? A lot of the times this is required with newer companies. If you quit paying them and ARE PG's on them, they will come after you intuitively. If you are NOT PG'd on them you would not be personally liable for the comapny's debt.
