Does any else agree this is unusual, gas price?
I find is funny how a barrel of grease was $100 a firkin, and all of a sudden the stocks shift down, economy is bleak, and WOW it's know $87 a barrel, I find it pretty disastrous we can't spend in oder to retrieve and drop fuel prices. I'm wondering what your thoughts are on this?Answers: We call this Subprime crisis and Hamburger crisis

Oil prices are resembling all other commodity prices, they are artificial by supply and demand, the weather, usage pattern, and the beliefs those who buy oil hold about the adjectives price of oil.
Drops can be attributed to any of those factor, including the notion that as people own less money to spend they will use smaller quantity oil, thus worth that with existing grease, the price will drop some.

Stock market have nothing to do near gas prices, its related to the cash residue, cmpany profits and relative risks
The lessening in stock open market now is due to the risks that rose after president bush pop in to the middle east and the increased risk of a war on Iran, also because most of the crucial companies did not release last year financial reports nonetheless which is a bad sign
Yes, I reckon it's weird. Because even though the price of a container went down, the price of a gallon at the pumps is still outrageous and hasn't lowered a bit.
Another piece that's weird is this: A gas retailer spends a unshakable amount to fill their underground tank with fuel. Since it have already been purchased, they enjoy spent a set amount for that whole shipment. Suddenly, the stock open market goes crazy and the price for a tub of oil go up. The very subsequent morning, the price at the retailer has skyrocketed, even though it's one and the same gas supply that they had surrounded by the ground the day past. They've already paid X amount of dollars for it and so the price didn't step up on that shipment!?
Think about what would crop up if the grocery store did the same item. One day bread would be $2 a loaf, and later the same bread on the shelf would be $4.50 the subsequent day.
Never embedded how that works with the gas and I still come up with that retailers in that industry hold the legal right to price gouge whenever they discern like it. However, when the hurricanes come to Florida, none of the material suppliers could make higher lumber and nail prices, nor could the grocery stores tilt prices on water, eggs, milk, bread, etc. When they tried to do that it be shot down as pirateering and it's illegal. So why isn't it illicit for gas retailers to do that?
And another thing, why is it okay for them to other raise the price of gas, but they can singular lower it so much? Once they get below a solid amount cheaper than everyone else, then suddenly they enjoy broken the law (what?) and the reatiler face some trumped up charges of undercutting the industry or something like that. Give me a break, free enterprise is adjectives about selling something for anything the price that the market will tolerate, but still having the right to provide it cheaper if you want. Just don't understand it at adjectives.

McDonalds and their likes love franchising because of the following:
1) They do not have to incur the upfront cost of opening a store
2) Instead they get a lump sum of money from you for building and operating the store
3) They merely give you the standards that you have to abide and operate by; generally if you break these rules, you loose the franchise - penalties can be severe
4) They do not need to worry about day to day running of the franchise - it’s the franchisees headache
5) They can predict their revenue routinely as often they expect you to pay a monthly fee for operating the franchise no matter how much you make or don't make
6) They only share advertisings costs with you, the franchisee
7) They are less impacted when there is an economic downturn and your store does not do well; you as the franchisee stand to loose the most in this situation as it was all your money to start with
8) You are building their brand equity by your hard work; no one remembers that Mr. XYZ was a great franchisee...they just remember the corner McDonalds.

Interview help.Answers: I be a manager of a full-size music retail store about 12 years ago; and I remember this story exceedingly well. A disabled character called me to find out if a singular CD be still in print. After spending several hours, I be able to find it---but the disc was not at my store. I have to go attain the CD and bring it to my store. After calling him rear he was greatly delighted, but later I discovered (unknowingly) he could not be able to come and pick it up because of his disability. Furthermore, he needed the disc for his daughters wedding the following daytime. I was certainly finished with my shift and I asked him if he wouldn't mind giving me his address so I can deliver it to him. He be puzzled, thinking I would actually correspondence it---but gave me the address anyway. I drove 45 miles out of my passageway and personally hand him a 15 dollar CD. He be very jovial and very surprised that I did this----we sit and talked for give or take a few 20 minutes over this kind gesticulation. He even offered me a 50 dollar tip, but I refused it. The subsequent day I open the store my district manager and regional regulator walked surrounded by with a intensely large plaque, a congratulatory communication from the vice president of my company AND a 200 dollar check--by going out of my way to provide excellent customer service I be able to build this person and his daughter's marriage a memorable one. (he call some weeks later unfolding me that everything went ably and thanked me again). Going above and beyond to comfort your customers like this have been push button to my success contained by life---especially now when most companies aren't providing obedient customer service at all.
