i know its because they want to change some copyright point, but the thing i don't win is why the networks and shows cant just hire other writers that are likely to write for themAnswers: The writers get remunerated based upon the revenues of the products that they write. But internet sale were not counted. SInce here is more from the internet and it will continue to grow, they required a part of that revenue. Certainly the studios could own gotten some writers from outside the union. That would hold aggrevated the writers union. Also a great deal of people supported the writers by picketing also. So you would not enjoy producers or actors to put together the shows anyway.
