Question just about college amount?
I wed into a very well-to-do family. My sound out is which degree surrounded by a BA would you advise. Congratulations on striking it rich. :) A BA in Business near an emphasis on nouns would be a very very well rounded degree for the type of work I would expect to encounter within the business you describe. Of course, you could also study finance specifically, but a business point will provide some additional study of communications, marketing, statute and whatnot. That would be my suggestion.
Who have to work weekends?
Does it bother you? A lot of people surrounded by my office work weekends and extra hours. I enjoy been here two years immediately, and they are just starting to ask me to do so.This is my first weekend at work. I be pretty POed about it at first, but should I be? Is it unwarranted for them to ask me to come in for no compensation? I know it is largely the norm surrounded by my business, but it still seems excessive.
Does anybody have opinion on this practice? Honestly, I think I would read more if it was something that I agreed really needed to be done, but I consistency like I'm here because the requirements for the entity I'm working on just kept creeping and creeping, so I could never return with it done to my boss' satisfaction.

Answers: NO.It sucks.I work on weekends and it ruins my life.You really cant obtain anything done and enjoy time..when everyone else is off i am working...capably at least that applies to me.If I am elucidation you ?.I think it is unfair to work more that 40 hours a week at one job..unless you hold a elevated position like a regulator. .and on top of it you are not getting rewarded... Yes, I feel your torment,I used to work weekends (a) my old post,every weekend I would work every body else was bad except one other grl.So me and her came up w/ a plan,she would work everyother sit.for me and I would work every other for her.even though she had to edify me her job.Our job were somewhat simular.so it wasnt that firm.and we knew it be worth it.It made some people cracked because they never thought of it when it was thier turn to work a weekend.even though our immidiate supervisor be cool with it. the corporate supervisor be not thrilled about it.but as long as both job were getting done ther be nothing anyone could do.

Hi,I am curently a manager of a continuation department in a busy environment, i perceive that some people dont see me as a superintendent but as a lower ranking member of staff, this lead to lower ranking staff atempting to give me duties, how can i revision or stop this from happening?

Answers: The previous answer is right but just when you've mastered the following:
1. LEAD BY EXAMPLE.
If you sit down for 3 hours chatting on the phone with your wife or doesn`t matter what then your squad will also end up one lazy and will guess you don't care roughly the job much. They will also start to hold the p*ss and not do the job properly.
Be the first one into work within the morning if possible in the past anyone gets near and then draw up a plan for the light of day. I don't believe in human being the last one out though!
2. KNOW ALL THE DETAIL - this is the most difficult but this is the one that will stop your current problem. Know every little entity you need to. From the cost prices of metal pipes to how much respectively of your workers earn, to who your best customers are. Make yourself the expert on your department.
3. ORGANISE THE STAFF - They should NEVER give you duties because you've already given them some. Because you've very soon started planning the day past you officially start you'll very soon have a inventory of things for them to do.Make sure you keep them busy especially within the quieter periods (thats when they adjectives tend to get a bit bitchy or troublesome)
4. Don't steal any sh*t from people that hold been within longer than you. Remember your the boss and it's your department. Send them on training courses if you can or if they are still a problem sack them (nowadays it's called conduct operations them out of the business!)
5. If you have any problem ancestors you must get rid of them. They will poison the troop and cause hassle, I've have to recently remove someone for similar things.
6. Now you can farm out.
Other tips:
a) Get on well near your team, but don't become 'one of them' the discouraging thing going on for being a boss is that you will miss out on some of that 'cameraderie' but thats why u attain paid more!
b) If anyone ever tries to share you to do something again, you tell them directly to their frontage 'no' and ask them what they are supposed to be doing right now and why aren't they doing it!
Don't shout or be aggressive but do try to look a bit p*ssed sour.

Don't verbs mate we've all be there.
You must swot up how to delegate. It's not graceful, but you have to distance yourself slightly from those beneath you. Lower management is a complicated place to be in because you draw from crap coming from above and below.
But that's why you get the big money, right ?
There's no shortage of books nearly management and supervising at your local book store.
