What does recession suggest? And how does that effect us?
I have never buried the difference? Depression or recession what and how does that effect us as citizens of USA?Answers: A recession is when the growth of our economy slows greatly. In a depression the growth can stop or even budge backward.
In any event, people don't enjoy disposable income. They don't buy consumer goods, so stores close, distributers any lay off ancestors or close their doors and manufacturers produce smaller number and lay off inhabitants because they're not needed.
It affects individuals in the unambiguous way, they lose their job and can't afford the basics of vivacity.
In a recession unemployment increases, it's not a totally doomed to failure thing. It's slice of the business cycle. The economy cannot grow at an accelerate rate forever. When a depression hit's the economy starts to subside. These are bad. In a depression you must be sleepy of Stagflation, that's when your in trouble. It's when Unemployment and Inflation Increase. This is prearranged as the misery index. If this goes the sum of job loss and inflation rates exceeds 15% you better watch out.
For a company like BMW, who sells cars in Europe and Usa, how is culture a factor when it comes to auto sales?
Answers: They have to know that people are grren and gas is expensive in Europe. So they sell small good gas milage cars. They also have to be aware of language. For instance in Mexico the Nova didn't sell very well. In Spanish Nova is no go.
If a package ships UPS Second Day Air and is picked up Friday, when will it arrive?
Answers: Yes alot of times it would be Mon. However, UPS does not consider the day its picked up the first business day, nor weekends. So truthfully it could arrive Tues and not be late, as Mon. would be business day 1 and Tues. would be business day 2. Something ordered Fri. and delivered Mon. would be Next day air, unless Saturday delivery was added. UPS only delivers Next day and 2nd day A.M. pkgs. on Sat. A 2nd day A.M. pkg. has to be delivered by the same time commitment as a Next day pkg. whereas a normal 2nd day has to be delivered by the end of the day on the second day. Hope that makes sense...
Monday, they don't deliver on Sunday.
