Why be my credit card charged US$1?
I joined Audible.com only just. I tried to buy an book from them but was rejected due to unsuitable geographic location. I tried to revoke it but found it impossible to cancel. Anyway, I emailed them indirectly to ask them to lend a hand me to cancel. Today, I be shocked to discover that US$1 has be deducted by audible.com. I did not buy anything from them. Anyone know why?Answers: I had something resembling this too.
They 'charge' your card to see that it's a valid number and that funds are available.
In my case, - it be statused as a "pending transaction"... and I be told by my credit card issuer, - that those transactions (typically) never get 'posted'.
