Why do different nationalities have different salaries when they work in an international company?

Answers: Cost of living in different places and local competition for talent.
The value of money in one location can go a lot further (or less) compared to another area.

For instance; a minimum wage USA worker makes about $60 per day (at roughly $7.50/hour) ; or $1800/month. It is assumed that this person can find food, shelter, and clothing with this money; with the leftover going for perks like children, luxuries, entertainment, etc.

In a country like Mexico, Mexicans can live comfortably for two-three months on $1800; partly because $1 goes a lot further, buying you lots of things in Mexico vs. in the USA.

It all comes down to the fluctuation of money. If you owned a big company, would you pay worker 'a' $60,000 a year to type on a computer or worker 'b' $20,000 a year to do the same job and more? It would seem that $20,000 is low -- but $20,000 oversees to worker 'b' is probably equivalent to $60,000 worker 'a' gets if they were in America. Hence, the company benefits, shareholders who invested into the company are happy, because there is more leftover money to do things. Outsourcing 101 -- sometimes bad, but sometimes good (for the business owner/shareholders).
