What do I do?
I have be waiting for a refund of $5,000 from the computer company "IBUYPOWER.COM". I purchased a computer which did not work. I sent it subsidise for the 30-day money back guarantee. It have been within there posession for a month very soon and still no refund. I am told that the computer be stripped of parts, calculated, and refund is approaching. Everytime I call they describe me it will be in my side in 5-7 days. It is very well over that and they just narrate me that my refund is approaching. I am expecting the money to go into the ridge account I used to purchase the item. In other words I used a debit card online, not a credit card. Is here anything I can do about this? I know a store refund you the second you bring it back to them. Can they hold my computer and not salary me for as long as they want? Also, do I need a attorney for small claims court?
The company is in California and I live within New York, who in this suitcase would have to travel?
Answers: If the company is surrounded by California, you would have to lift them to court in California, not within NY. Why not call your debit card company and see if they can do anything around the disputing the charge - at this point, the nonpayment of a refund could be considered fraud, and they may know how to do reverse the charge or something. It's worth a phone call.
Can a law firm or a legal company for that purpose issue an ipo if not then what are the reasons?
Answers: There shouldn't be a reason why not. They just change from a limited partnership to general incorporation issuing shares.
