What are some pros and cons of Labor Unions?

Just wondering your opinion on Labor Unions and/or strikes.

Labor union help member by negotiating wages and benefits that are recurrently better than they can get on their own. They also can provide safeguard that prevent people from man unfairly fired. Some also provide training for their member.

However, they also have negative. They can force wages and benefits to unrealistic above-market levels. That encourage employers to run down the number of workers, outsource the work, or move to states where workers don't usually go in unions. The rules that prevent unmerited terminations can also be used to protect incompetent or dishonest employees who should be fired. And, have a union can create an "us vs them" mentality towards administration rather than a climate of trust and relationship.

Strikes are sometimes necessary to protect workers rights and come by a fair wage. However, long strikes can cost workforce more than they benefit from the new contract. Strikes can also alienate customers, especially when grouping members who own great wages and benefits strike for more. That can look greedy to people who product much less.

Internal audit and Company politics?

How should one deal near senior business leaders putting obstructions surrounded by your internal auditing work; undermining internal audit contribution; beating their own trumpet; showing as if they know everything contained by this world; and then expressing anger/frustration if an issue is discussed near audit committee and they are updated on the same to comply! Answers: That really depends on how the audit committee is set up and the support of upper headship. It also depends upon how committed that you are to the company. I would assume that you are the audit manager. I would cart the problem in common terms first to my supervisor. It would be best if it be the head of the audit committee but it may not be. You will be capable of tell in the order of the support from that conversation. You also need to be paid sure that the interference is a big enough problem that affects the authority of the audits and that you are just not playing satisfactory politics with the problem departments. If adjectives else fails, you may enjoy to make a result as to what is important for you. I gone a company after 2 months because their ethics contained by accounting was not acceptible to me.
