Answers: Very little out there on the internet as far as information. But I would not pay anyone to register for help finding a job and as I understand they charge a fee. There are too many free sites available.

How can companies who outsource customer service better improve that service?
Answers: Give the positions to people within the United States & stop out sourcing. I've had my fair share of dealings with customer service which has been out sourced and honestly, I will do everything in my power not to use those companies as the idea of customer service is almost null and void. I've been in customer service for 13 years now and I expect the same customer service I provide and I have yet to receive that quality of customer service from a company who has out sourced to another country. That is my personal experience though. I am sure that there are countries and people out there that understand the true meaning of customer service but I have yet to have one on the other end of the line.
Don't just outsource it - go there, learn the people, make sure they know what the expectations are, and keep visiting to make sure they stay motivated.
Have high standards, pay well, make sure you understand the culture (don't put a low caste person next to a high caste person in the same cube) - or do something offensive to their culture.
Hire people who can speak English understandably.

Depends if they are from the same purveyor or not. If all the items are sold directly from Amazon you merely pay one shipping excise. Though many items are "free super efficient shipping" eligible. Independent sellers within Amazon usually charge around $3.99 per item (for a decent sizes book or dvd) for standard ground shipping. Check who you are buying from inside Amazon.com.

The singular exception is when something is on backorder. but, they won't charge you full shipping on that 1 thing that's overdue. it will be a smaller fee, if anything. They're in actuality pretty good just about that.
