When a conflict exists between shareholders and managers, who should win?

Answers: The shareholders, always.

The shareholders elect the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors hires the President and other officers

The President hires the managers.
the shareholders have the ultimate authority to do whatever the hell they want, as they paid to own part of the coporation, and they get to decide how best to run it to get the most profit.

the shareholders vote in the managers, so if they don't like what a manager is doing, they can remove him.

this is simplified, it gets more complicated if a manager is a major shareholder, or is very friendly with important shareholders, and their may be some shareholders who support management and some who don't.

basically, whatever the majority of shareholders want to happen will happen

Mukesh Ambani surpassed him and Gates after a rise in Indian stocks in Oct. 07
As of October 29, 2007, Mukesh Ambani is the richest man in the world with 63.2 billion dollars.

And just a question...what is 59 thousand million dollars? Do you mean 5.9 billion?

In your opinion, which policy is more effective, Monetary or Fiscal?

Answers: I think that fiscal policy has a larger effect on monetary policy than the reverse.
