Amazon.com users, when you order something online at amazon is it delivered later than expected?
Answers: Usually not; unless its the holiday season; even then they make their best effort to deliver on time. I ordered about 8 books from them just before Christmas and was hoping to get it in time for Christmas; Since each of the books had different estimated shipping times (due to non-availability), they shipped me any one of the 8 as it became available; so the entire order shipped over 5 shipments; however, they charged me shipping only for one shipment because that's what I had asked for when placing the order. They did this purely so that at least some of the books would reach me by Christmas; This is one really professional company that I will always do business with. Also, if it arrives later than expected, you can refuse delivery or simply return it back for a full refund.
Note I am a Canadian customer but I ordered on USA's Amazon.Com; I DID NOT use the Amazon.ca (Canadian operations) because they are far less customer service oriented and I had the following bad experience with them; on a past occasion, when I ordered a *** of 5 books to be shipped as one order, they postponed shipping for over 3 months saying that 1 of the books was not available. For that, they've lost a customer for life - I will never ever shop with them again or advice anyone to.
