Are we too far from recession?
Can anyone kind ample to tell me, do we enjoy to be an economist or Chancellor to realise that with taxes and cost of living going up every year, but our wages stay indistinguishable, or hardly increase, will put monotonous people contained by a situation that in establish to pay the bills, they enjoy to revert to the borrowings from the bank or credit card companies. As we will not be capable of continue within a long term, the single option will be ruin and surely soon or later this will result within a recession , if we continue on this trend of putting the taxes up and keeping the wages down. If I am right, why the individuals in the goverment who will lose their 100K a year salary don;t do anything about it. I know they don't bequeath a ** about us, but what going on for their own wealth?Answers: Their own success has already be taken care of. As for a recession, yes, this year is going to be impossible, particularly for universal families near high mortgages who will also enjoy to pay ever upward spiraling utility bills. Already the big shops are declaring poor profits from the christmas buying term and january and february are never profitable months for them so watch out for the march past statements. There will be job losses and bankruptcy galore. Look at the share prices, watch Wolseley (plumb interior, plumb base) and kingfisher (b&q) two companies owned by international groups, see their highs and lows - wolseley are worth partly of what they were this time end year! The american recession and financial rubbish is affecting us more here than i care to see! Gone are days when our mortal an 'island' kept us safe from anything!
We hold been surrounded by a recession since the Bush-Cheney regime took over. First thing they did be to slash taxes for the rich. That means smaller amount money to fund government programs. Less money to retribution health effort bills for the poor and uninsured. More sick, untreated workers means more absenteeism, smaller amount money in working people's pockets to spend.
Government workers will not cut their own salary. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, (Bush appointee) just asked for a humongous pay envelope raise.
Start your program of buying gold ingots and silver bullion unobtrusively and keeping it in a nontoxic place, preferably offshore!
We have removed morality from the empire, winked at evading the law, winked at decadent and unethical behavior, sown the crisscross, and the whirlwind is coming fast.
And no, they quality what they are doing is right for them, who cares give or take a few others, and my position is important satisfactory I will not be affected. Besides, I hold much stock laid up to serve me for many years, so I can drink, drink, and make merry.
Retail Businesses?
What is the most common threat to sanctuary in a retail business?Answers: If you're asking going on for staff safety, it would probably be unpaid night hours. Convenience stores are the most unsafe places to work, partly because of their hours.
If your conversation about stuff, it would be pilfering by shoplifters and employees.
Do we need to start planning a strategic defense intiative to protect the US from Europe?
Answers: NOPE ! We can`t even get our government to protect us from Illegal Immigrants from Mexico with a defense initiative ; much less from Europe . We started defending our country against Illegals in 1986 , and we`re exactly where we were 22 years ago , "nowhere" !
I was totally unaware that Europe was planning concerted military attacks on the USA.
I do not see why they would, since it is in their best interests to just sit back, letting us self-destruct from overspending and loss of value of our currency, massive unchecked invasions of illegals, unchecked corruption at all levels of government, unemployment from sending all our jobs and the associated confidential and proprietary information overseas, deliberate distortion of the Constitution's clear message on how to make a great nation, dumbing down education to hold back everybody to match the lowest levels, and many like things that sap the resources, nay, even the lifeblood, of our country.
Then, like vultures, the world can descend on us and pick the meat from our bones and discard the rest.
How would a Strategic Defense Initiative help prevent our downfall? Might even hasten it by giving people a false sense of something worthwhile being done! Or inviting a preemptive attack by exposing our current and developing weaknesses.
I think it would just become another sinkhole for funds, making some politicians and their friends rich, but really doing nothing effective. Kill another major forest for the paperwork!
We'd be better off not to speed the inevitable by making it obvious we fear it, but instead to make some friends to fall back on. That is even Biblical, in the parable of the bad servant!

And just btw, in response to another responder, are we not likely to need all the nukes in the world to deflect those incoming asteroids nobody but astronomers are yet really thinking about?? Big nukes are about the world's only defense, and have to be placed in time. Too little, too late, and SDIs and all will have little worth, not even a memory.
