Can a Limited Company presently enjoy 100% voting? (UK)?
Has the 3/4 vote needed for rule changes, dissolution clause, and change to the aims and objectives, now be changed to allow members to choose to enjoy a 100% vote, if they want that? (previously the maximum allowed was 75%). The 2006 Companies Act, have brought changes to Company Law, such as a simpler channel of laying out rules, amongst other things. Has it also made change to this maximum 75% vote requirement?Answers: Not that I know of (I'm an MD) - have you tried a prod on companies house website for the answer?
Nike return policy sucks?
Nike has a horrible return policy when compared to other stores similar to Walmart, Target or Costco.I bought 2 Nike t-shirts from a Nike retial store. My kids wore it once, and after one wash, the color on one of the vest came-off. So I took it back to the Nike retail store and requested an exchange since the product be defective. They would not refund/exchange it because the purchase was more than 30 days and the shirt be washed. So I call nike.com, they want me to mail it wager on to them on my cost, so they can inspect and decide if its really defective.
Any suggestions how to win it exchanged without spending more on correspondence.
I would never ever buy anything from Nike.
Answers: I am surprised that Walmart, Target or Costco would let you return any apparel after it be worn and washed. According to the Walmart website their policy is
"All apparel, shoes and frills: 90 days with taking; and merchandise must be unworn, with tickets attached and accompany by the original pack account / invoice."
One company that does have a policy that would permit you return any item is The Lands' End.
According to their website:
The Lands' End guarantee has other been an unconditional one. It read: "If you’re not satisfied beside any item, simply return it to us at any time for an exchange or refund of its purchase price."
I assume you still would hold to pay postage, but I never tried to return any item to Lands' End so I do not know for sure.
Selling Dupont Primer/Coatings..?
I have some a mixture of Dupont Industrial Coatings and Black or Gray Primers in 30 gallon drums that I would close to to sell. Anyone know where on earth to look for buyers or any companys interested?? I'm in Wisconsin. Let me know for more info if interested.
