my advice is don't come up with about trying to impress ethnic group. When you have that nice of mindset, you often come across as "trying too hard".
Look at it simply, any undertaking interview session is an opportunity for both you and your prospective employer to check each other out. The knob thing of advantage to take away from that session is whether both of you are a honourable match for respectively other.
What's the point of impressing the recruiters solely to join a company you don't really fit contained by?
As a former interviewer, I can tell you, I am not interested contained by an "impressive" person, I more focus on whether the soul is applying for the right job, or have the basic merits that I am looking for.
So, please understand what the make-up of the job you are applying for and explain why you expect you fit into the picture.
We don't usually hire people because we approaching the person when we look at him/her. Ofcourse it's completely important not to put us stale totally when you first appear - so basic grooming is essential - but you don't really enjoy to be so special in the bearing you look.
Demonstrate some basic merits - like confidence, clarity of thought, inquisitiveness (yes some ancestors come to interviews thinking it's only one-way, it's not, you must be capable of interact with the interviewers) etc.
