I too was only just laid off, agree to me tell you partially the stuff I sold was broken, the scanners never worked right, our phones other had problems, especially the battery caus emost of refurbed from other stores returning them to the manufactor and we would get these phones at cheaper prices. Also our cable are over priced, it only costs the store 48 cents for a pack of 4 AA battery and you pay 4 dollars. About 3 radios i sold be unopened and had missing parts or be defective, the toys always broke, our RC cars break after a week. Also our service plans don't cover breakage, they are a SCAM, don't obtain them. we no longer sell speakers and the computer ones we go usually blow after 5 months, thank god cause they are generic no baptize things that suck. metal detectors are on the fritz and always going bad. I have have professionals say our multi meters are not that accurate after working for 5 minutes. the tools are a ploy, oh my god they stick when you try and open pliers, the scredrivers strip and everythign have that I am going ot break cause i am made of plastic quality. I set up a thermometer out of the box last summer and it didn't work any. All the dvd players are axions, a no name company, again and oh boy those get returned mighty fast, until that time oyu buy one, feel how scrawny the plastic casing is and the cover that closes on a cd, extreamly fragile. you put it down too frozen you and break it. The xmods are over priced too and usually break he steering gear, none of our planes fly, like holy crap you embezzle it out of the box charge it up and press forward onthe control it barely get off the ground, later immediately antenna dives and breaks the propeller, i saw this happen contained by the parking lot!! I boycotted them for several reason:
1) the purpose you stated. Have you seen the episode of Frontline more or less it?
2) extremely poor service. If you go surrounded by there looking for something, you can never find it & if you ask someone that works within they send you on a furious goosechase before you find out they do not even convey it! Last time I was contained by there, I go for two items, it took forty-five minutes & I was not competent to get any one of them! One of the items [Scotchgard] they did not even know what it was! Then I lost money surrounded by the soda machine, but the procession for customer service was wrapped adjectives the way around to the corner of the store, complete with population wanting to make returns. I asked a director if they could help me & they said waiting contained by that line be the only channel to get my money rear. They only have one of three counters open, but nearby were several body just standing around gossip. The manager could hold at least sent ethnic group over to open the two other counters so general public did not have to hang about so long. I have have several similar instances when the employees are critical. One thing that hail as centers do is use an auto dialer. It just puts contained by a few random numbers and whoever picks up first is connected.
