What are the risks and opportunity for Home Depot exit stores contained by China?

What concerns should Home Depot have debut stores in China? What are the risks for them? What open market strategy should they use?

Answers:
There are many stores or malls within China that sell home decor materials and finishing, but when you purchase the product, installation labor is repeatedly included in the negotiate purchase price. In larger cities, there are masses workmen from the countryside who earn a very small fraction of what urban white-colar force earn. So, as a result, there aren't profoundly of home owners doing their own projects to save some money -- DIY a short time ago isn't catching on very briskly.

Other Answers:
One risk is inventory that is poorly stacked, which if it falls over could seriously hurt or snuff a Chinese (or other nationality) customer, leading to litigation or financial revile or both. Opportunity includes selling to a nation of over one billion consumers.
If you work for Home depot, this is a poor way to find out. Too abundant pitfalls to name...pilferage, policy issues, fake produce (I found fake merchandise at Walmart in China), unreliable logistics, imprecise taxation etc etc

WHat would be the best/cruelest route to fire a pickpocket to set an example and "get even"?

Answers:
Catch him on tape so you're POSITIVE it's him. Then, run the cassette back until simply before he steals the money -maybe 30 second.

Wait until the following day and send for all your staff together and proudly announce that you've have a special system installed for burglaries and holdups.

Proudly give them a DEMONSTRATION (like you have NO IDEA of what's on the tape.) Keep your eyes on his facade and... ENJOY!

Other Answers:
Fire a thief? Is the burglar working for you?

If your the owner or the boss of the company, next it's best to show a little restraint when dealing beside your workers. You might get pleasure by firing the guy in front of everyone, but you will individual come off looking close to an idiot to all your workers. It's best to gossip to him in private. You are mistanken.

You don't fire a burglar.

If you do. He will find a job elsewhere and will resume his criminal undertakings there.

After a while he will realize he is never caught and he will "graduate" from intruder to something worse like drug salesperson or mob soldier.

Eventually all the crimes he commits will affect you one approach or the other.

Over his lifetime he may be responsable for thousands of crimes.

You now hold the power to stop him.

Get all the evidence you call for and send him to Jail.

He will revise his lesson and hopefully he will reform.

In other words, you enjoy just prevented thousands of crimes.

We are counting on you.

mystery shoppers?

has anyone ever hear of a mystery shopper.... its something that you get rewarded to go shopping at absolute stores and take undercover serveys about their store..... if you hold.... how dose this work...and is it real...

Answers:
Yes, mystery shoppers are valid but there are some fictitious companies out there. If the company asks you for ANY money upfront, they are a scam. Legitimate companies single request your name and address and consequently they will send you a W-4. Unfortunately, I do not hold a website to give you but hold that in mind when shopping around. Best of luck to you!! :)

Other Answers:
I'm not sure who decideds who become a mystery shopper, but I do know that you get compensated to do it, and that often times, you bring back to keep what you purchase, even though you are (sometimes) reimbursed for what be purchased. A lot of times, you go through a store to cause sure that they're employees are doing what they're supposed to be. For example, I work at Target and we own mystery shoppers come through to make sure our cashiers are asking society if they'd like to apply for a Target Credit Card....stuff close to that.

Yes, it is a unadulterated job . . . I used to work for Market Pulse, base in Auckland New Zealand and did like mad of this type of work. Basically, they pay you to stir shopping for a particular item or service, and you subsequently report on the service you recieved and the level of indulgence you had beside the experience. Sometimes, you get money to buy an item, normally one you have to return but sometimes you take to keep it; Generally, they are merely interested in how your inquiry is treated by the staff.

The pay cheque is not great, but it's interesting work :)

Yes it is a open market research tool they use to find out how well customers are served. Before taking on errand, find out the name of the company, whether they really do marketplace research surveys or consulting for businesses, etc. Any form of upfront money you have to shell out should be avoided.
