Why do americans ponder they enjoy the best corporate goverance, while it sucks?

WHy do Americans believe they ahave the best corporate governance system in the world, while it is the worst ever created? Through teacher and books they try to export their idea that companies should provide helpfulness only for the shareholders. and they try to amount out how every european and japanese company could adopt their corporate goverance system, that has be proven to be the worst ever, looking at all the scandal and problems it created. America is the only place where on earth executives earn millions even bankrupting their companies and where on earth shareholders are too dispersed to have influential voice in the BoD. European and especially Japanese CG systems are proven to be the best, providing for the interest of the vastest majority of stakeholders. Yet American teacher flood our universities, recounting us our system suck and that we should adopt ther. What do they think they are?

Answers:
Since near is no universally adopted protocol for "governing" a business contained by the USA, I wonder if you really understand what you are trying to write going on for.

Those companies whose leaders have be prosecuted are but a tiny fraction of the hundreds of thousands of American businesses, large and small. A public company's mandate is to maximize shareholder utility, no question, but this is capitalism. Most companies are not public. Private companies may helpfulness anything they wish, including profit, but they are beholden firstly to their customer.

I don't know why American teacher would want to export their knowledge to an ungrateful know-it-all. Maybe it's because they want to share the payment of free enterprise to students who have uncommonly seen it contained by action?

Other Answers:
oh yeah
Take a pill for **** sake.
Source(s):
Right On John.....Whoa!!
All cultures are different. After the scandal in the US, we come up with Sarbanes-Oxley. In Europe, they come up with LSF. I don't know going on for Japan.

If you don't like American companies, fine. Don't buy our stuff, and don't provide to us. We're only 1/3 of the worldwide economy near 5% of the global population.

I mull over the Japanese has some tremendous strengths, but they also resembling to close themselves off from the rest of the world. The Japanese are a terrifically homogeneous society, which is VERY different from the US and Europe.

Rather than saying America sucks and everyone else is great, let's try to cram from each other. You are clich¨¦ that Japan is better than the US, but your language is severely arrogant. So, you are not any different from the American teacher you complain about.

MY HUSBAND HAD A 401K/PROFIT SHARE WITH A COMPANY 15 YEARS AGO THAT SOLD OUT TO ANOTHER COMPANY THAT MERGED WITH ANOTHER AND THEN ANOTHER COMPANY. I'VE CONTACTED THE BANK THAT HANDLES THE (LAST) COMPANY, AFTER BEING TOLD THAT THE 401K SHOULD HAVE ROLLED OVER WITH THE CHANGE OF HANDS AND THEY HAVE NO INFORMATION ON SAID ACCOUNT. I'M CLUELESS AS TO WHERE OT TURN TO NEXT.

Answers:
Wow, that's a tough situation... It is very possible that the 401k get lost in the shuffle, and sometimes surrounded by buy outs, they will get dropped or payed out at that time. Other prudent I would advise you to seize in touch next to the current companies human resources department, if your husbands 401k exists, they should know either where on earth it is or who to talk to within order to find out. Good Luck!

Other Answers:
are you sure he didn't collect it and spend it on a concealed girl friend?
You'll need to contact the current company's HR department - whoever owns the company very soon. They should have access to files going all the agency back.
It sounds resembling you're getting the run around. Your husband should have kept better track of his 401k/profit share. Sounds approaching you're going to need an attorney. I hope you enjoy luck but it sounds like a limp end for you. You're going to hold to keep after them. Just bug the hell out of them until they receive sick and tired of you. Then maybe they will do something and find your husband chronicles.
Try the Department of Labor. They audit retirement plans and may have some information. If the company closed down the plan, they own to send any unclaimed funds to the State so you may want to check beside them too.

how do i carry the control on my team?

i work in subway sandwichs &salads... and i smile to my personnel , train them as well as i can be, i explain the cos` of that we enjoy to take precision with the products , i endow with them a gift sandwich or a cookie , ....but they go and get angry with me when i want to they work a bit hard becos`the requests of the store , or when i get angry cos`the idle away products... instead of try to get them better than they are.

Answers:
stop babysitting and start turning the screw....just 'cause you're nice, doesn't show that they are going to work. employees lift advantage and if they come up with they can get away beside it, they'll keep doing it...and they'll obtain worse. look at it this way...in attendance are a lot of other subway sandwich shops..their team aren't screwin around...it's not like adjectives the screw arounds just happen to find you...hey, face it, it's you...not them! you have need of to put limits and rules and stick by them...as of right very soon, you have a bunch of 12 years feeble doing whatever they can to go and get out of working annnnnd still getting rewarded for it. either you relocate, or you find some other job...'cause it doesn't nouns like you're really fit to be the boss. you don't enjoy control of your business.
ok, now pretend we adjectives just applied for a commission with you...who do you feel would be your best choices for employees here? inhabitants either enjoy a work ethic or they don't and if you have teens or babyish people working for you...they don't even know the permanent status work ethic...you need to school them that. you, you you you you...and most likely, the race working for you, it's their part-time chore...first job...only just work on you and the others will follow suit...or they can leave.

Other Answers:
clear them more. an employee who make more cares more.

"Control on my employees?" Eh, why not cracking a long bull thrash. That'll get them contained by control. Find better people to work WITH YOU.

Be more of a squad leader, not a boss.

The basic/intrinsic quality of empire you hire determines how they will react to your criticism. You must hire the right associates to start with. I, for example, am a exceptionally hard working individual. My employer should know that he is a very lucky son of a ***** to own me as an employee. be fare but tough narrate themm what you want and if they dont do it tell them tey can expect to be fired

Are you over-managing? They may not like self micromanaged.

Try making a correlation between profitablity and bonuses for them. Show them that if they don't waste products, it increases profitablity, which will capture them a bonus.

match as mr miyagi said. You must balance the stores wishes with their wants meaning:
Sometimes to draw together their needs you must sacrifice profit, and sometimes to bump into the stores needs they must sacrifice a moment or two. When they see this in accomplishment, that you are trying to balance their wants and the companies needs, they will become especially productive and loyal employees. If not, fire them

Your best bet is to lay down the rules. Stop giving away food to unappreciative force. Once your employees follow the rules short complaint; reward them with a cookie or sandwich. Impose strict restrictions for not complying. Employees who do not comply beside the rules, get the least possible favorite job to do. Like mopping the floor, or worse on the other hand, have to give a hand close the store. When they know you mean business, they will comply or find another opportunity. In the meantime; take applications for exotic employess to train correctly. P.S. it wouldn't hurt to remind them that they are there for the wishes of the store and the customers satisfaction. Good Luck!

lynnj_jones Since they are probably close to or at minimum wage, your workforce are probably very childlike or they for what ever reason cannot find more lucrative employment else where on earth. I suggest you hire high academy or college students who have a plan for their adjectives.

I want to know why crude prices are incresing day to morning and why America is fixing the price rate for Gold, Crude and other items

Answers:
Crude oil prices are set by investors within the futures market base on expectations for demand and supply. The price have risen sharply due to worries about the supply base on events in the producing countries such as unrest on the Nigerian delta, political vacillation regarding Iran's nuclear ambitions, etc. Disruptions surrounded by production by weather and natural disasters also drive up the price, such as when hurricane Katrina shut down much of the production within the Gulf of Mexico last year.

OPEC also influences the price of crude grease by regulating production.

Demand is also seen as increasing due to the express economic growth of China and India.

Other Answers:
PRESIDENT BUSH.
to stabilize price and prevent madness
You do not explain what crude commodity you are talking almost, the price of crude oil is not increasing every daylight and America is not fixing the price of gold and grease. Well done Saravanan !
