Is within a US site for checking whether a company exists at adjectives?

Like the UK's www.companies-house.gov.uk .

Answers:
yes there is. You can check next to your state. Pretty much all states hold a website where you can check to see if they are registered to do business surrounded by the state. Chances are that the company you are looking for is registered to do business in your state. This will be the valise for a privately held company or a public company. If you are trying to find information about a public company, you can progress on their website and look for their investor relations link and check out their financial statement. This will tender you information about the company and its ceremonial etc. Also, if the company is public, you can check out EDGAR.gov and www.SEC.gov.

Other Answers:
Not that I'm aware. Many small business work under something call a DBA (doing business as), a document that is file with the local county. Articles of incorpration are drawn for some businesses and those are file at the state level. Neither of these things are registered within a national database.

I think just publicly traded companies are subject to federal oversite and would have countrywide records available thru one of the exchanges and their federal regulating bodies. http://www.people-search.com/BusinessSearch.htm

How can you find out if a business is incorporated?

Answers:
You can start by visiting the Secretary of State's website. You should check the state surrounded by which you believe the business to be located first. I.e., if they are located in California, next check with the California Secretary of State first. However, if they are not registered next to the state as a corporation, that doesn't mean that they aren't incorporated. It is entirely allowed for a business in one state to be incorporated surrounded by another. For example, the California company could be a Nevada Corporation. In this instance, the company's information would be at the Nevada Secretary of State's website, even though the company is located in California. I hope this make sense.

One other thing to keep hold of in mind is that the 2 most adjectives states for companies to incorporate are Delaware and Nevada.

If you still are unable to find the company, you can check the County Recorder's bureau for the county in which the business is located. You would investigate the Fictitious Business name index to see who registered that business entitle. A person or a corporation can registered such name. In many cases, businesses operate underneath their Fictitious Business name to some extent than their legal christen.

One uncomplicated way is that they almost other have to include "inc." contained by their formal name. Check a business license, check bbb.com on the internet, etc.

Other Answers:
We've been outsourced. It's cheaper to buy products made elsewhere. It's glum, really. Just yesterday I picked up a pair of cowboy boots (An entirely American piece, I would think.) and stamped on the bottom is "Made within Taiwan."
Americans don't work for 14 cents an hour in sweat shops. Want something for a cheap price? Chances are it be made by some 14 year old surrounded by some crappy country working for next to nought. Americans say they want to buy American, but what they really want are cheap products and they don't wanna know where on earth they come from.
It's cheaper for companies to buy and pay other countries to create the products and the workers work for pennies.

Sad but true.

The answer is simple. It's because it's so much cheaper to produce stuff overseas. Every answer you get will possible be the same one. I propose look how the Chinese have artificial the electronics market! You can buy T.V.'s, computers, VCR's and DVD players so cheap, that it's more cost efficient to just throw them out and buy a investigational one, rather consequently to get them repaired. What a world, huh?
Off-shoring. Its too expensive for companies to income for insurance, taxes, etc in the US. In other countries business owners do not hold to pay personnel as high a rate and other things approaching not having labor union makes sending factory out of the country so affordable it off sets the cost of moving production.
Cheap labor within foreign countries.
shortsightedness on the part of the companies outsourcing job to make a snatched buck for the shareholders. soon there will be no-one disappeared able to buy the products at any price, since within will be no jobs disappeared here.

I got one too near a check from the MTA Risk Management Authority in Los Angeles (what they are doing funding a lotto is anyone's guess). So, Canadian post blotch, Australian Lotto, MTA check, and same 6/16 deadline. I can't believe after all of this, I'm still going to ask if anyone have been competent to cash their check (wouldn't it be nice...)

do. I'm going to check next to the bank.

Will the U.S. senate allow Ford Motor Company to jump insolvent?

Answers:
Will they allow them to fail? No.

Should they? Perhaps.

Why? Well, to answer that, scramble the question down a bit. Should the U.S. affairs of state allow Tony's Pizza Parlor to go skint?

If that sounds absurd to you but you also regard as the government should bail out Ford, Chrysler, etc because they're so sizeable, I'd simply ask: what is the size threshold that says a company have gotten big enough to be propped up by the command?

Does anybody miss having DeSotos and Nash Ramblers and Studebakers to drive?

Other Answers:
i won't!!
Theoretically, gov't is not supposed to interfere next to the commerce of the country unless in dire situations. If Ford does ending up going off the cliff, the gov't may put contained by some strategems to get the company wager on on its feet. I doubt that will begin, though.
I don't think so..There'd be alot of populace out jobless. hopefully not.
Prolly. I dunno.
Yes, Ford is just a company and as a concern of fact the governing body does most of its busness with GM.... So why would it thing if a company that doesn't hold many organization contracts went skint?
They bailed Chrysler out. So I guess they'll bail Ford out too.
The American automobile Corps will become like Amtrak soon...because the Unions made promises to the thousands of body when promises where still kept. They can't afford it immediately...but you can't lay off adjectives those people.

Ford, insolvent? Tell me more.

Ask the US Govt about Enron up to that time answering.
... Uncle George would never let anything doomed to failure like that take place ...
I see no reason for the American levy payer to bail out a company that managed to drive itself into ruin. Ford is still paying out big bonus to it's top people...they own made very little attempt to find a niche surrounded by the market for fuel use. companies go beneath every day, because the screwed up and lose their edging. If we the people bail out Ford, the I intend to start a business and permit the govt bail me out of my debt. I say no instrument...where do I vote?
Of course it will! The U.S. policy does not give a crap roughly speaking anything or anybody!! It doesn't even care just about itself anymore-look at the damn mess Bush and his buddies have made of everything. They feign to the American public about everything and win away with it as we sit around next to our heads up our asses!! As long as they are pool liner their pockets with money the rest of the world can step to hell as far as they are concerned!!
They can do Chapter 11,which means they're broke but the company still operates.

Basically it's a elected representatives bail out. So yes, the government is allowing this.
The U.S.governing body will do what is in the best interest of the U.S. command, your guess is as good as mine.
Of course, Ford is a commerical business.
ma by but under the weather put my money on bill ford right now! incentive if ford goes broke on his keep under surveillance his grandfather will roll over in his grave lol bill will provide his immortal soul to save this company lol lately kidding he know how to be in charge of!!
Two things. One, the government bailed out Chrysler (but tolerate AMC die). Two, Ford is doing very in good health in Europe and have a decent bazaar in Asia. I don't suppose Ford will go broke. However, they need to impart the USA the better cars they have within other parts of the world.
They will, they let frequent corporations do it
no unless someone srews up
Only Ford Motor Co. will allow itself to go
ruined, if it can't make point vehicles at
affordable prices approaching its competitors. Of course,
there is other the greedy C.E.O.'s and other
officers of the company that could steal millions
of dollars resembling the Enron and Tyco scandals
never
It is not the government's responsibility to bail out companies or corporations that generate substandard products. As much as I love this country and would hate to see more society without a profession, it is really up to Ford to start making more competitive vehicles. Foreign cars are out-selling American cars because they are better made and more affordable. Until Ford can start competing within the automobile market, they will continute to lose business to foreign companies. In establish for the market to work and for the United States to preserve growing, the government must stay out it.
