Because the grease we have within our country is locked in rocks, and to get hold of this oil from the stones and elegant into a material suitable to use it would cost us nearly $5 a gallon. We are currently not contained by a shortage, the high prices immediately are helping to lower the future cost of grease when we need to refine the grease from Rocks. Unfortunatly the price will not go down, but it will not shift much higher. I would intuitively rather reward $2.50-$3 per gallon now and for the subsequent years until something better comes along, rather than $5 a gallon within a few years.
