Should coca cola drop the "coca" surrounded by it's mark?

LA PAZ, Bolivia - Always Coca-Cola? Not if Bolivia's coca growers have their road. The farmers want the word "Coca" dropped by the U.S. soft drink company, arguing that the potent shrub belongs to the cultural heritage of this Andean nation, where the coca palm leaf infuses everyday life and is deified to many.

A commission of coca industry representatives advise an assembly rewriting Bolivia's constitution passed a resolution Wednesday calling on the Atlanta, Ga.-based company to take "Coca" out of its signature and asking the United Nations to decriminalize the leaf.

The resolution demands that "international companies that include contained by their commercial name the label of coca (example: Coca Cola) refrain from using the nickname of the sacred fern in their products."

The commission, which met for three days surrounded by Sucre, 255 miles southeast of La Paz, is part of an shot led by President Evo Morales to rehabilitate the statue of plant, used in the Andes for millennia but better specified internationally as the base ingredient of cocaine.

Coca-Cola released a statement Thursday dictum their trademark is "the most valuable and traditional brand in the world" and be protected under Bolivian tenet.

The statement repeated the company's past denials that Coca-Cola have ever used cocaine as an ingredient — but was silent on whether the colloquial coca leaf be used to flavor their flagship soda.

"They need to have a handle on our situation," said David Herrera, a state government supervisor for the coca-rich Chapare region. "They exported coca as a crude material for Coca-Cola, and we can't even freely put up for sale it in Bolivia."

The Bolivian rule regulates the sale of coca to prevent use by the drug trade.

In its pure state, the green leaf is with the sole purpose a mild stimulant. In Bolivia's white-collar offices, coca tea is served instead of coffee, and the country's farmers, miners and longhaul truckers chew the branch to get through a long work afternoon.

The government requests the U.N. to decriminalize trade in coca-based products to promote its exports.

Morales, a former coca grower, believes an international flea market for coca-derived products such as tea, flour, liquor, and even toothpaste would draw some of the country's estimated 65,500 acres of coca away from the drug trade.

But the United States, which funds a Bolivian coca-eradication program, is adamantly opposed to the policy, cliché it only encourage more coca production.

Answer:
Depends on who made Coca a copy written word first... My guess is the Coca-Cola company.
I heard that on the report this morning. Cracked me up. No, Coca-Cola shouldn't drop the name. Tough to the farmers.
No passageway.
no, who cares
Pass me a Coca Cola - that be so long I needed that caffeine and sugar to wake me up.
yeah
Nope. Why should a multi-billion dollar company alter its name after using it for decades? If they have problems with the usage, they should own raised the issue roughly speaking a hundred years ago.
In Chinese Coca-Cola translates to "Bite the wax tadpole"
nobody uses the cocoa part anyways they purely say cola or coke
No opening man it's been here for YEARS!
NO
ur an idiot. would you get rid of your first pet name and have nation call you by your ultimate? i don't think so. wow you should shoot yourself for asking this quiz.
Coca Cola better stand their ground. There is no other cola besides Coca Cola. Just calling it "cola" reminds me of the b&w cans during the 80's that said "beer". Farmers, you suck it up and give history alone. Coca sacred? LOL inform that to the DEA
No. As was said, Coca Cola is the largest, most widely specified trademark name contained by the world. Coca Cola has be in existence since 1886, when Bolivia be a 61 year old independent nation. For former times 121 years, Bolivia probably hasn't said crap about removing the mark. As the Coca Cola Company nearly matches the country of Bolivia within terms of income, I give attention to Coke should just buy Bolivia
No, the brand baptize is worth too much to drop & its the distinguishing aspect of the name, as cola is not a trademark

Are corporate board of directors positions usually compensated for their service?

Question:

Answer:
More often than not, the answer is going to be "no". However, it is up to the company bylaws of how they want to jump about it. Some companies state that if the being serving on the B.O.D. is an employee of the company that he represents, than he will not be separately compensated. Some vote that no Board member will be compensated and that it is a voluntary elected position. Other companies compensate adjectives Board members regardless of employment status, etc etc.

Basically, it's up to the Corporate Bylaws and Policies to state how compensation will work.
Not within salary, but within the company's success. Stocks mostly. If it's a private company, it's a annual dividend.
Yes.

If you enjoy health insurance, request COBRA (health insurance continuation).

Any unpaid leave days should be paid to you.

I assume you have it in mind, close permanently.
In a similar situation I received severance earnings and qualified for unemployment.

What are Corporations looking for..?

Question:
What do corporations look for when theyre looking into a management position of some sort? I am curious as to what criteria they are looking for, such as amount, work experience, etc.

Answer:
A lot depends on the corporation but here's a couple of rough guidelines:

Education - depends on the job and work history. Generally, you would be expected to be difficult in one or both than the citizens you manage up to the point where on earth the workers have post-grad exact degrees. MBAs are upright, but not essential, for higher-level management job.

Work history- Hiring someone in, they will usually want to see a history of managing others.

Others - Do you know the work/industry? Are you professional? Do you communicate okay?
In any management position an employer would be looking for a illustrious level of direction, organization and communication skills. With those skills, they would also be looking for integrity, readiness and enthusiasm for the work. A true manager is a commander-in-chief. Someone who can motivate their teams to not be pleased with the status quo and "the channel we have other done it" and to do that while being respectful and developing their staff to grow and reckon more independently. Real leaders aren't afraid when their staff grows and can make more decision without direct supervision, they relish it.
