what are some roles and responsibilities of a CEO?
Answers:
Provide leadership. Act as an statue for the company and what it stands for. Drive the overall organization, by puting surrounded by place other managers that agree beside the CEO's direction.
I think it depends as you would expect on the size and industry of the company. Some CEOs need to be dignified profile, external voices of the company, while most are internal champion driving the organization.
They are responsible to shareholders/stakeholder for equity see and debt holders for debt. They are responsible to their customers, employees and society for products/services they provide and the impact it have on their community/world.
At least they should get the impression responsible in these ways. Many with the sole purpose care going on for making money for themselves first and last, and surrounded by between getting their shareholders a little something. They could watchfulness less around everything else, and that's what makes me despise most CEOs. Certainly they may tale to make you believe otherwise, but general public today are smarter than that.

Often, one person shares the chairman and CEO titles while another take on the president and COO titles. Regardless, in virtually adjectives cases where the CEO and president are not impossible to tell apart person, the CEO is of the complex rank.

M&A related question-please oblige?
This question have been bothering me for a while so I hope someone can sustain me.If I buy a company for $100 and finance the transaction purely near debt and then I supply the firm in 2 years for $100, how enjoy I made a lot of money on this transaction?
Answers:
Well, at hand are probably more ways. But the two that I can see off the top of my team leader are that you get the import tax shelter from the interest payments on your 100$. Not only that, but because you rewarded with debt, you're allowed to write up the acquire company's assets to fair bazaar value. This increases deprecation expense, which lead to lower future taxes.
Also, you attain the free cash flow of the acquire company for those 2 years.
There might be some synergies if the buying company is related to the selling company, but that's kind of out here.
There are also all the fuzzy, intangible things. You might acquire ease for better technologies. The strange company, before its spun bad again, might have benefits from a more optimal possessions structure. You might get some really costly employee within the deal. Etc.
Other Answers:
If you nouns your transaction with debt you own to pay interest.
If you put on the market the company for $100 2 years later you certainly lose money.
Unless of course you are taking some profits from the company to rate for the interest.
If that is the satchel you can sell it for $100 and break even.
If the company is profitable and the company pays dividends (Typically respectively quarter) then you would receive dividends 8 times. That would be your profit.
I hope this help.
Big fish small pond, or small fish big pond?

i would rather be a Big fish within my own big pond...... i think the money would be better that passageway
Other Answers:
Only the little fish work
In a corporate job, I would to some extent be a small fish in a big pond. That track, there is other room for improvement and you can work your passageway up the corporate ladder to eventually become a big fish contained by a big pond! Whereas if I were a big fish contained by a small pond, I would feel trapped, I wouldn't be aware of challenged.. and within would really be no room for growth. That's the way I see it.
If you're a big fish contained by a small pond you'll probably stay a big fish in a small pond. If a small fish within a big pond you can grow into a big fish in a big pond.
