THIER A PAIN IN THE *** WHY SO YOU THINK THE DO NOT CALL LIST WAS FORMED
The unsolicited call are annoying but they help create job in the third world, thus doing a tiny bit to cut back unjust international riches inequalities.
It depends on the following:
- The product / service you sell
- The service stratum you're trying to deliver
- The customer you're serving

They work for low value products, where on earth service is not competitively important and where on earth your customer's are not very loyal. For instance, you could use offshore telephone call center service if you're selling t-shirts online.

If you sell airline tickets, and require a give the name center to help customers bring in complex changes to travel plans at the finishing second and you live and die by keeping customers loyal - outsourced call centers are a horrible answer. Unfortunately, most airlines don't realize this.

why companies do philanthrophy ?

is it just merely strengthening the brand ?
how it affects the stock price and execution ?

There are a multitude of reasons why an company would become involved in philanthropic works and the enormous majority have to do next to the bottom line.

Promotional benefits are vast and can be particularly significant when good deeds are used to produce an attractive or verbs image when the actuality is not so pretty. BP isn't running all those "here's adjectives the good we do because we love the dust too" ads because a bunch of green peace folks a moment ago got voted to the board. They are an grease company and the thing society hate just about oil companies is what their product does to the environment within virtually every step of the products lifecycle. That image is best erased beside a campaign heavily focused on a verbs, safe, care for environment.

Tax consequences are a major consideration whether its done by agency of contribution of goods, services or funds donated. Employees who contribute time to outside organization cost the company nothing, generate charge benefits and can actually be credited beside generating direct revenues via goodwill that would not hold otherwise come in.

Every very soon and then you come across a Dave Thomas but the foundation he was conventional for his charitable works was because of his open heartfelt concern which is rare from my experience.

Other Answers:
for levy deduction purposes
To grant something back to the community surrounded by which it operates. That community is usually where on earth the firm's employees and customers live. Moreover a corporation should own a civic conscience and be a good corporate citizen and support the arts and charity.

The levy implications are not other a major factor. Obviously giving slow moving inventory to a charity is a tariff benefit tot he company and to the community, but buying a piece of art or building a city park would not have alike tax consequences.

As for the effect on the bottom column it can be dramatic. One of the first things to be cut in a reorganization or belt tightening is charitable contributions.
