Question:
On average, does anyone know how much of the cake a band get compared to the publisher? I hear they're pretty poor.

Answer:
Ani Difranco is the person who get the most per CD surrounded by the music world (by which I mean ably known artists who are signed to register labels, as opposing people selling accounts out of the back of a van after their gigs) at the moment at $4.25 a cd, because she owns Righteous Babe Records, the register company she distributes under.
Michael Jackson make $2 per unit, where on earth as Hootie and the Blowfish made $1.25. I think it depends on how popular you are and how the percentage are distibuted over How much you get contained by royalties, from performing and merchendise sales.

Answer:
I can think of two places.
A compromise for the performing arts
I visionary fund group approaching March who can help you. (See link)
Ok, first, I am assuming by the certainty that you don't know where to return with money that you haven't done a business plan. Stop everything you are doing and focus on a business plan first. It is boring, and tedious, and time consuming, but it is neccessary, especially if you don't enjoy the ability to fund your own business.

If you are going to ask for funding, the culture who are going to give you money are going to want to see that you aren't flying by the form of your pants. They want to see that they will know how to recoup the money that they hold loaned you, plus whatever interest or percentage is agreed upon to create it worth their while. Venture capitalists aren't doing this out of the neighbourliness of their hearts, they want to profit on strong businesses beside a likelyhood of success. A business plan will show them that you are serious more or less your business and have taken the time to devise it all of the instrument through.

Do big stores trap you so you will buy more ?

Question:
I have notice the bigger stores, like Wal-Mart, Targed, Sam's, Etc. are setup close to a maze. This is to trap you, fashion you feel overwhelmed, relaxed resembling you are out in a pasture, and surrounded by turn, you will buy more. What do you think, am I right ?

Answer:
It's a marketing ploy. Retailers strip the outer corners of the store with the most expensive, popular or mart items. So it's hard to make tracks the store without seeing them.

I use a document whenever I shop so I'm not tempted to buy things I don't inevitability.
They hire merchandisers to make their displays more appealing. And you do buy more..Yes your right
No I thank you are silly if you achieve overwhelmed in a store but you may be right for you.
they try to put as much advertisement in front of your eyes because the more ethnic group that are forced to see a product, the higher probability it will be bought more. The maze is not really a trap, they are newly trying to use the most space they can use for profit. It really is all in the region of the money. The more things they can stick in a high-traffic zone, the better the sales will be.
Well, yeah! Of course they do, they want more money, don't most relations? They set up the stores so you will make craze buys. It is a marketing strategy. All you have to do is reward attention to what you're doing and think, "Am I going to use this at adjectives with within the next five or ten weeks?".
I reflect on that they definitely set stores up contained by a way that receive you buy more. Like have things at the check out, so while you are waiting you will return with bored and end up buying something else that you don't really call for.

The one that gets me is the agency Ikea is set up. I am not sure if it is the same worldwide, but the one here within West Aussie is set up so you have to follow the arrows, and you can't draw from out unless you go bygone EVERY section of the store! So if you are going in that to buy a couch you end up buying kitchen utensils, bedding, picture frames, lamp and even stop for a meal at the restaurant!

I am a shop-a-holic, so I don't mind too muchbut they are out to acquire you! That's for sure!!
Yep. Of course they do.

I worked at Wal-Mart for a very short time, years ago. Worst mission I ever had. We have to learn how to stock the shelves for maximum impact. All that stuff you see at the ends of the aisles is stuff they are trying to return with you to buy. We had list of "impulse" items that we stocked next to currency registers or at the ends of aisles.

It works like a charm too. We'd nouns up an end boater with some product. The minute you stick 200 of them tidily on the shelf, customers think it's a negotiate, no matter what the price is.
You bring up a apposite point. The problem is trapping you and making you feel "overwhelmed" does not put together you purchase more.

It's an issue Wal-Mart has be working on for the past few years. When individuals feel overwhelmed they in actuality turn defensive and are smaller number likely to easily walk through the store. Retailers love “browsing customers” and use attractive displays to not solitary lure you to a product, but to that area of the store. It’s not the product on the displays that they are trying to gain you to purchase.

Wal-Mart and other companies are constantly testing design to make their stores surface more friendly and inviting. There’s a lot more to it consequently just sticking things on shelves or throwing merchandise to the floor. A lot of contemporary prototype stores are being built beside some new concepts. It will be interesting to see what exactly Wal-Mart and other stores approaching Target will come up with subsequent. I see some dramatic changes on the horizon.

Question:

Answer:
People that are happy near their jobs, stimulated, relish the people that they work near and for, and believe in their company or job, tend to work harder and/or smarter. Work doesn't seem similar to work.

People that are unhappy surrounded by their jobs, have a feeling unchallenged, don't like the individuals that they work with or for own a harder time. They watch the clock. They look for diversions. They don't work frozen or smart. This isn't to say that they are discouraging people or that they wouldn't do resourcefully in a different position. They are purely in the wrong employment for them.

People who are happier in their job are more focussed on their jobs and tend to enjoy higher amounts of productivity. This is why it is to both a being and a company's best interests to try to match a party to a job and look for the best fit.

I hold closely of experience within the automotive industry if it is well brought-up to buy antediluvian crappy cars and fix profit?

Question:
I have abundantly of experience in the automotive industry (basicly fully fixing and customizing beside a little help) and be thinking to start buying old rusty (maybe classic) cars for approaching $500-$6000 and put like $15000 into it and fully fix it up what do you suppose the profit will be?

Answer:
I did try that once. But it was munificent of hard to supply cars. I made a profit on one car but a loss on my second. The profit really fluctuates. It depends on the car's constraint.

You need a well brought-up salesman and marketing promotions that would get your cars notice.

You could give it a shot! It other seems to be a brilliant theory. But don't just drop into it. Make some informed decisions first.
especially little with today's vehicle market.
Listen, I know a couple of guys that do this, and you get to find a guy who wants the motor first, and then restore it for him. Some customers really approaching being involved surrounded by the process by seeing the magic unfold and taking photos. That is the best way to do it so you don't win burned.
go to auction and find a vehicle that wont run nice looking no rust goes cheap a few hundred bucks. fix motor you'll confidently make 5 to 7 hundred or more a vehicle.if you can fix the motor without too much trouble that's where on earth the gamble is but even if you cant you can bring back your money back selling some parts stale the car.
I do a similar sort of piece here in the UK. I buy classic cars that want just a touch bit of tarting up and sell them on for a profit. You've get to really know your market ably as classic car buyers mostly want the best on the bazaar and not pay fundamentally much. Also you can have the motor around for a while waiting for the right buyer. Why not start with something simple approaching a small family coup that needs a small amount doing to it and selling it on. take less time and local associates will get to know your work and word will spread approaching that. GOOD LUCK!
I don't know about cars, but I know a guy that make out okay buying old crappy semi tractors and restoring them. Has a big domestic device shop and a couple guys working for him. His 'ol lady runs the organization and the brats and dogs are all over the place. He seem to be making a living.
No.
