How do I draw from AT&T to depart me alone?
Question:
I switched my provider from AT&T to another company and now they won't quit calling me to try to receive me to switch back! They appointment me at least twice each day. I'm on the "do not call" list...is within anything I can do to get them to quit calling me?
Answer:
You may be on the do not christen list, but because you be a past customer you waive that right with AT&T. Next time they beckon tell them you want to be taken sour their call enumerate and put on what's called the "No Pander List" also. Pandering is trying to bring you to buy something or go near something (like suggestive selling). Say you call your guard to ask about a check or something, when you're done and the hail as rep says "Can I interest you contained by a ...", that's pandering.
Start blowing a ref's whistle in their ear when they call for. Eventually, they will get the point: "Leave the b**** alone!" No offense, I'm a b****, too. : )
They can call upon you because you used to be a customer, even if you have your phone number scheduled on the national do not call chronicle.
Next time they call, a moment ago ask them to put you on their do not call index and they will stop calling.
Yes, the next time they appointment, tell them that you want to be removed from their roll and that you do not want them calling you anymore and if they do, you will report them. You can report them through the do not call enumerate website. Don't be rude, just be firm. It's worked for me.
You might hold to change your home number or telephone call your telepone company and ask them what your options are.
Hi Worried,
You place a call upon to their customer service number and tell them to stop calling you. That is what FINALLY worked for me. They drove me crazy calling and even come to the house twice.
If you have done business near a company the do not call detail doesn't apply to them.
Norm
Yes report them to them to the A G office they will procure a big fine.
Tell them to make a facts in their chronicles to quit calling you, otherwise you will report them to your state's Attorney General. Let the person you are speaking to know that you are writing information down. Make sure that you go and get their phone number, company name and the signature of the person you are conversation to, as well as the date and time. If they verbs to call you, verbs taking notes and verbs to report them to the state's Attorney General. After the first offense(they give them one) they catch fined. After the third offense and increased fine they can lose their telemarketing rights.
This should stop the annoying calls.
Good luck.
Tell them to remove you from their record, and keep a diary of these call. Then file a complaint next to your state AG's office.
Cheap Auto-Attendant voicemail?
Question:
We're a small business that has something like 3 different departments. Is there a voicemail that offer a system where when you seize the answering machine, it give you choices to enter extention/press number for department? AT&T wants to charge something ridiculous close to 4000 a year. Anyone know of anything else?
Answer:
Nortel makes several version of voicemail and auto attendant. The cheapest would be the norstar compact ics (CICS), which comes with auto attendant, but not voicemail. Next would be to purchase a small norstar system to run your business near, and add on a small telephone call pilot voicemail module. It will cost a few thousand up front, but no recurring fees. The norstar series is a really reliable system that is used by plentiful companies around the world. Also, shop arpund for refurbished systems to save in the region of half.
Also, check specialty companies resembling hello direct, black box, and sandman.com. They have lots of uncluttered doodads that may serve your purposes.
try the off brand companies cavalier, comcast, verizon, turn out around check the ades that come on tv or just plan to procure diferent lines with different numbers
You can capture answering machines that offers multiple mailboxes. My answering tool at home has three voicemail boxes that the sightseer can get to by pressing any 1, 2, or 3. Of course, this only works if not a soul answers the phone.
In August our small business phone system was hit by lightning, and we have to replace it. Our old system could own been replaced beside a new system for almost $4000 and still would have be incredibly limited lacking auto attendant or voice mail.
We approved to stay away from telecom/telephone companies and we opted for a GE (maybe Panasonic, I'm at home and can't check!) underpinning unit phone that can feel up to 4 incoming phone lines. The "extensions" are actually cordless handsets (and within a small company, this is so handy!) each next to their own voice mail. The system is pretty sophisticated for the cost.
The phones themselves cost $1100 for one bottom unit and 4 handsets brand foreign and if you have someone who is a moment or two handy with technology, can be installed and set up tangible easy.
If interested, drop me a queue and I will look up the info (brand of phone, website where purchased).
The genuine WORST place you can go to buy a phone system is your touchtone phone company. The make a significant percentage of their profits from screwing over small businesses contained by leased equipment. You should buy cell phone service and maybe internet from a phone company, but never, ever telephone, they rip you off. (former telecom employee)

I know there is a cost a moment ago to have them to put the product within their shelves in their stores. Can you bestow a range if my product will be sold surrounded by the North East...Thanks
Answer:
If you want a company like WalMart, you hold to break into the supply chain direction industry and buy yourself some expensive computer equipment that is proficient of talking to WalMart's computer equipment.
This is an oversimplification, but it's close to your computer talks to WalMart's computer, and WalMart's computer know it's exact inventory levels at adjectives times and has a trigger for order more of your stuff. Their computer will place the order through yours, and you'll come to work sooner or later and find out you have a labour to make.
You'll be expected to label the delivery without beating about the bush to maintain WalMart's shelves. If you drop behind, or you don't own an operation that can operate on this level, you'll be replaced.

kbw, "not here wing government" ???? What on earth are you on more or less? This government hasn't nationalised anything or put taxes up for the incredibly well-to-do. That would be a start in my book.
Sorry, I don't know the answer :(
G00GLE almost certainly.
1. because today is a user-driven era, meaning that we contribute to the awareness world and we choose what we want to read/hear. BBC is a broadcasting company with stakeholder's interests within mind, not to mention its political bias in the world stage. The subsequent generation is moving away from self told what is happening.
2. because G00GLE is worldwide, and BBC is British. Which have more potential to be a world power in the information world??
I believe as of a few months ago G00GLE is worth around $115 billion.
Based on the certainty Sky bought 17.9% of ITV for lb940 million it would suggest ITV is worth a little over 5 billion. I would expect the BBC to be worth more than this as they hold 2 terrestrial stations, numerous radio stations, a exceedingly popular website and digital channels. However it would presumably lose license payment revenue if privatised and would have to compete for promotion.
So even if the BBC is worth double or treble what ITV is worth, G00GLE would be worth far more than the BBC.

This is probably a silly give somebody the third degree, but : Why do charities inevitability money?
Question:
Example : an OAP gives her closing 10p to Oxfam so that they can provide food and clothing for the needy. Oxfam presumably enjoy to give a large amount of their money to oil companies to pay cheque for transportation costs. So the OAP has effectively given her money to the grease companies, most of which are making several BILLION pounds of profit every year.
Does this logic stand up, or not? By giving to charity we are effectively giving to oil companies? Shouldn't the grease companies charge NOTHING to charities?
Any thoughts appreciated.
Answer:
I work for a charity. We have to retribution everything we need - stationery, phone bills, electricity, rates etc at the flea market price. I dont think we gain discounts cos the people we buy from are businesses and they want to craft a profit.
We also have remunerated staff, who are specialists in what they do.
We also hold volunteers, and its only honourable to pay them their expenses for petrol etc.
We also own to pay for publications, subscriptions to relevant organisations we're affiliated beside etc.
Personally I dont shop at oxfam since they did the new corporate colour venture and matching plastic loads - and the prices went so large in our local shop that stuff be cheaper in the discount shops! I dont assume charities should waste money going 'upmarket' similar to that, its not necessary.
We dont attain many funds from the public - we hold to bid for them from grant funds, lottery etc. So every year our position is incredibly precarious, one day we may purely disappear in a puff of beaurocracy (could never spell that!)
I'm not sure exactly what Oxfam is.
Companies repeatedly contribute to charity, but they only contribute so much. My former employer normally donated a certain amount to the United Way every year. After that, if their products are needed, they must be purchased. Charities do this. They take money from masses donors and buy necessary supplies for the dependent that they've chosen to serve.
What I don't see is why if countries are in obligation we can't just take home more money. I mean its not approaching its physically impossible to just get money exist, most of it's electronic nowadays anyway.
to retribution their salaries
Give to the Salvation Army. Practically every penny they collect in reality goes to assist needy relations.
there are two kind of charitable firms by large
one is an NGO - non governmetal organisations
next many big companies enjoy social wing its like considered prominent by them to give a bit of their profit to people they cause work or spend or society at large
so one company keep X amount of budget for people but expenditute is more than that so next they look for charitable functions auctions raffle tickets to generate more fund...
and NGO itself only works on funds provided by companies and nation at large they hold marginal business modelto make any profit itself
Its a ridiculous argument. If we adjectives gave 10 p to Oxfam consequently they have money for adjectives costs and loads left over to provide charitable aid.
Your focus is too rigid.
Next you'll want them to turn the lights out in their shops so as not to refuse money on electricity.
Oxfam are a brilliant charity - and as said above - The Salvation Army is a superb charity too.
You are right.
However, the vehicles which provide the transport of products for oxfam (charities) are owned by private individuals who need a source of income to avoid and prevent poverty.
This means of access we help to hold on to jobs where on earth they are needed most. May be we should ask the oil firms to contribute more to charitable cause. Failure to give to charities creates an even greater problem necessitate more funds. Let us give to adjectives charities more generously. Some people's lives could be changed forever.
Most charities receive free transportation etc as a consequence allowing for the majority of their money to be spent where its needed.
confused
don't expect giving to verified charities have anything to do next to oil companies
Of course some of the money that charities bump up goes into salary, the cost of premises, transportation etc. etc. And if all of it did, next of course the charity would any be pointless or crooked. There is normally no passageway to avoid these costs. However, reputable charities try to keep these overheads to a minimum and bring back most of the money they collect to where it is needed. So by giving money to charities, yes, we are giving some of it to grease companies, but hopefully only a totally small proportion.
It is worth pointing out, too, that many companies do provide their services free on affair. Obviously they can't do that all the time as they would walk out of business, which would help no-one!
Your request for information implies that you regard everyone who supplies goods or services to a charity should do so for nought.
Suppose you are looking for a job. You mention this to a charity that wishes your skills. Would you work for them for nothing? If not, why not?
There is no nouns to donate to charity. Most companies that make profits do fashion donations. And they often find that the most modernized way of donating is to provide free stuff or services but, no, this should not be compulsory. It should be left to the individual to resolve how much they want to give.
If you want nouns then why not simply put up the rate of income tax and allow the system to distribute the extra revenue to charities?
