Who owns american airports?
I am looking to learn which companies own american airports. Are these airports privately owned, or lease for maintenance?Answers:
Usually, the substantial airports with commercial nouns carrier service are publically owned, target that they are owned by the city, county, state or federal government.
Smaller airports may be owned by private companies or individuals, but it would depend on which airport you are conversation about. I know of no companies that own multiple airports.
Fixed platform operators usually lease space from the airport owner to get rid of gas, operate maintenance shops or rent aircraft.
Other Answers:
Most U.S. airports are owned by local government, either departments of cities or separate airport authorities.
? im not sure, i think they are adjectives Government owned though.
Most airports are owned by the municipality contained by which they lie. A few are outside the city borders of their municipality but are still owned by that city, specifically St. Louis Lambert, Denver International and Chicago O'Hare. Smaller airports are privately owned and a few are owned by their FBOs or the firms that service the airport and its customers.

Do you deliberate gas prices are too elevated? Are we person ripped past its sell-by date by the petroleum companies?
What are your thoughts on this. I don't think that it is disinterested for these companies to make history profits at the expense of the consumers with no true proof of the increased prices.Answers:
Some of the prices are artificially inflated.
However, gas prices in the US are still lower than within most countries. Go to Germany or England and pay the equivilant we wage per gallon for a liter.
I do think that heaps of the companies are taking advantage of teh recoupment of defense grease reserves and the war against apprehension in directive to boost their profits.
On a final note, though, the time of war in Iraq be not about grease. If it were, we would be getting grease from Iraq. We are not, yet at lowest. Much of what excess Iraq is producing is going towards paying their reparations to many countries.
Other Answers:
Yes and Yes!
yes and it is all Bush's culpability Yes big time it really not fair but gas prices did gain lower than came put a bet on up now it go a little bit lower but its better than $3.75 or $4.75 per gallon.
Yes everyone is being ripped off- however suggest yourself lucky you are in the US (i presume you are because you call it gas). Over here in N Ireland we are paying at lowest double what you do. However I do think if relations would don't wise up and ruminate of the environmental problems caused by driving those silly SUVs I would probably support higher prices for them- as long as the extra money go on environmental projects rather than swelling the wall accounts of those murdering scum who run the companies
YES TO BOTH, IF YOU REMEMBER THE LAST QUARTER REPORTS ON SOME PETROLEUM COMPANIES THEY HAD A RECORD PROFIT OF 10 BILLION DOLLARS.The oil companies are contained by business to make money. Just approaching you at your job, you wouldn't want me to come at hand and say you are getting rewarded too much. Why should the oil companies enjoy to make smaller amount money to sell you gas at a cheaper price. Its our own shortcoming for becoming so dependent on oil to hold our economy going. If we have alternatives, when they raised the price of gas we could basically use something else.
If you think the price of gas is too big, start buying less. You could carpool, hold public transportation, walk, consolidate trips to use smaller quantity gas, etc. If you think the grease companies are making too much money, buy their stock so you can get a piece of it. I wouldn't someone relating me I make too much money, so why should we recount the oil companies what price to charge?
1) You ain't seen nothin' but!
2) No (You are being ripped past its sell-by date by yourself. Nobody is forcing you to buy Gasoline)
If you want gasoline prices to drop I suggest you to buy a used Volkswagen with a Diesel Engine (You will recover thousands of dollars and you won't buy another gallon of gasoline ever!)

Why are American work job self outsourced?
More and more jobs are human being lost.Business's downsizing and gov't allowing outsourcing to other countries. Is this a plot to weaken the middle class?Answers:
Because the American society is better stale paying someone else less to do the job that would cost more to do here. We focus on more service jobs, and these won't be outsourced.
Other Answers:
it because at hand a lot of work going on and most of the work
is alike. so the have to abundant people doing one article
Source(s):
news and context clues
yah, i guess. it is cheaper to construction stuff in Mexico, China, etc. because the citizens there singular make 5 dollars a daylight vs. here where its 5 dollars an hour.
Nope - in that is no plot, and there is no conpsiracy.
Capalism is awesome, is great, and its the simply answer to the world's problems - however, the downside is that you can undercut workers by offering cheaper products at cheaper prices. Thats the whole hypothesis of capalism.
Its something that only the consumer can sustain, or prevent, and thats by only buying American made products.
Corporations llok for economy of scale and locations of level. What this means is that as products are produced repetivatley, they cost less money because workers revise what they are doing, the process becomes more reorganized, and certain locations are cheaper than others.
American corporations out of stock as multi national enterprises look for the cheapest locations next to cheap raw materials, workers, etc.
So, to sum it up, corporations look to maximize shareholder equity, and that way making a profit which means spending smaller amount oney and paying less to workers. Thus, companies outsource so they can find cheaper labor and cheaper resoucres, which allows them to increase SE.
Also, yes, near is a push to eliminate the middle class. the guest worker program allows cheap labor within the u.s. [corporations do not have to compensate immigrants minimum wage].

B.S. Business Administration
big labor costs in america.
Because other countries do not hold strict labor laws or federation pay scales that cost corporations more money. By going overseas, they can cut labor costs and not own to adhere to environmental and other administration regulations. They don't have to salary mandated social deposit taxes and other fees, and the cost of making a product goes down. Things made within America cost more money, and often culture are not willing to take-home pay the extra costs associated with that.
If you don't want job to be outsourced I suggest you to write to your Congressman to write a Bill to lower the Minimum Wage from $5.15 to $2.57
That will reduce outsourcing but it won't stop it.
In Mexico the Minimum Wage is $5.15 USD PER DAY!
US consumers won't earnings the premium to purchase domestic products and services.
The most obvious plea for outsourcing of manufacturing job is the reduction within labor cost. This allows consumers to purchase lower priced products due to reduced labor costs. However, all commerce jobs are not one lost to outsourcing. American manufacturing job are often reduced as a result of our own enhanced efficiency. If a company can automate a production process or reduce the needed labor to a minimum, at hand is little difference in the cost to produce a product. Secondly, we presently live in what have become a global discount. Since other countries are developing, the need for merchandise has increased overseas. American companies want to be near to capitalize on overseas development. This mode that a lot of the products being produced are not making it posterior to the US, but being sold within the foreign markets where on earth they are produced. To answer your question, it is not a plot against the middle class, but a consequence of developing countries and a intercontinental economy. If race did not care to earnings more for an American made product rather than podium decisions on price and talent the problem would be reduced, but problems would arise with the US products not self competitive on the global flea market. Just look at the automotive market, foreign automakers are thriving contained by the US with the products that are person produced in the US, while American automakers are struggling building cars that contain largely Mexican, Canadian, and Chinese parts. So, maybe part of a set of it is the fact that American companies are very soon being forced to get by themselves better, where past the competition of foreign manufacturers be not there. Now adjectives the flaws are exposed and American companies are struggling to keep up.

What's the difference between a private and public company?
Answers:
(m)
------------------------------...
Privately-held companies are - no surprise here - privately held. This means that, within most cases, the company is owned by the company's founders, management or a group of private investors. A public company, instead, is a company that has sold a portion of itself to the public via an initial public offering of some of its stock, gist shareholders have claim to factor of the company's assets and profits. If it's a U.S. company trading on U.S. stock exchanges, it is required to file quarterly proceeds reports (among other things) with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This information is also made available to shareholders and the public. Private companies, however, are not required to disclose their financial information to anyone since they do not trade stock on a stock exchange and this usually money the general public cannot invest surrounded by them.
The main ascendancy public companies have is their means to tap the financial market by selling stock (equity) or bonds (debt) to raise income (i.e. cash) for expansion and projects. Typically, the cost of capital is smaller quantity for a public company. The main ascendancy to private companies is that management doesn't own to answer to stockholders and isn't required to file disclosure statements next to the SEC. However, a private company can't dip into the public capital market and must therefore turn to private funding, which can boost the cost of possessions and may limit expansion. It have been said habitually that private companies seek to minimize the duty bite, while public companies seek to increase profits for shareholders.
