We sent the $ Western Union and the person N.Lewis picked it up and afterwards we find out that it was a scam and it wasn't a second occasion offer. He even sent a note that looked like it be from ebay explaining that this person be having problems near their paypal account and that a Western Union money verbs would still guarantee the shipment. It was stupid because even Ebay tell you not to send money Western Union - but it looked lawful and we were suckered by a too-good to-be true treaty on a X-box 360. Is there any mode to track this person down or report them? Has anyone else have this happen to them?

Once you heard "Western Union", you should hold ran the other opening. About the only recourse you own now is to report him to ebay. You're not going to procure your money back, but at least possible he can't scam anyone with that tale again.

there is an ebay complaint form- get to contact us on ebay- if you use paypal- they also have a form you can stuff out for that- they will try to get your money back- also if you used your credit card on the rate pal you can stop clearing throught the credit card- call your cc comapny and agree to them know what happened.

You will probably not know how to track the person down from the email address. It is even possible that the email address be hijacked and that the individual who uses it is not even responsible for what happened.
Western Union should hold some sort of ID procedure for when people pick up money. If they don't after they should. They should get a copy of ID and fingerprint whoever picks up the money. Do it approaching pawnshops do.
In the end you will probably still be out $275. However, you are walking away beside something. A bit of knowledge of how to avoid this subsequent time.

Seems like you get a whole bunch of answers unfolding you to report it to eBay but not how. The address is spoof@eBay.com. If you go to the ebay site and do a hunt for spoof and/or scam you will get further directions. Contact Western Union and see if they will assist surrounded by any way. Contact the police contained by the city that it was picked up within. They may have gotten other reports and may be of some assistance.

The date you are thinking of is the last RECOMMENDED closing date for posting. For standard first class that was yesterday. The post organization says that they will try and deliver post sent next to a first class stamp yesterday before Christmas. Post sent after that may not be deliver until after Christmas when they start deliveries again on Wednesday, 27th December.
My post organization tells me that posting up until tomorrow (Thursday) via first class will most expected get near as the post office tries it's hardest to clear adjectives the post they have since Christmas.
