The single pack is sold at a discounted price by the retailer. The discount comes from the distributor. This discount does not apply to the buy one, get one (bogo) free proffer as that is a seperate discount all together. The price of the bogo is smaller quantity than if you were to buy two individual pack. Of course you probably already know the most economical way to purchase cigarettes is by the carton.
It's highly legal and associates fall for it.
If you buy your cigarettes by the carton, you know that they are much, much cheaper than buying by the pack. With the increases due to due, the companies have to clear a profit somewhere.
I smoke too. It's probably, not actually FREEBIES but a TIE-UP (a promotion that allows a customer to buy, influence 6 packs + a lighter, 12 pack + an ashtray, etc.) The price of the lighter or ashtray has be built in the pack with a bit discount so the package price is still high than when there's no TIE UP. Anyway, you have the pick to buy only the usual pack if you infer you don't need the tie up items.

Hi! I'm a big eBay seller as resourcefully. I wish I could say-so I hadn't dealt beside a similar problem... but I have (again and again and again).
Unfortunately, in a minute matter how alert you are, some people won't rate attention. Also, I hate to speak about you this, but Buyer scams and "griefing" are rampant on eBay, and Buyers will use feeedback ratings to hold you hostage.
My reccomendation is this: Eat like mad of crow, play nice, and tell the Buyer you will fully discount his money... AFTER he returns the item to you in its ingenious condition, AND he has departed positive feedback for you.
Also: BE NICE, and try to call the Buyer on the phone a bit than messaging him through eBay or using e-mail. People are totally different when they don't have the anonymity of the Internet protecting them.
True, it be probably not a good theory to show a picture of nine cards and only provide one. However, you are not liable or obligated to refund the money, because your description be accurate.
Please note here is really very little eBay can or will do for you within this situation. Believe it or not, even if you refund the Buyer his money, he can still quit negative feedback for you. eBay tend to be VERY hands stale with feedback.

He poked his boss out of his hole long enough to exit a retalitory negative feedback. I have a pefect feedback record at the time (100%), so this really upset me. I spoke near eBay, and they said "Sorry"... "Intergrity of the System"... "We Can't Do Anything"... They revoked the guys account, but still wouldn't do anything roughly speaking the feedback!
In other words, if you want to protect your feedback rating, your best choice is to use a refund as leverage to insure your reputation is protected.
