Is the Petrol supplier who's supplied million's of gallons of contaminated petrol liable?

Question:
for all the plunder and costs incurred by each individual driver associated next to this mistake?

Answer:
When buying petrol always ask for a account. This is your bill of sale and proof of purchase (it give not only date of purchase but also the precise time). You will soon discover if the petrol is contaminated on departing the petrol retailer. Engage a repairer to fix the problem asking them to keep a taster of the petrol. The repairer should be in business to repair vehicle (i.e. not a friend DIY'er, you will need a formal repair invoice). Go to the petrol retailer recitation them you want reimbursing for the cost of repair, petrol, and any other incidental costs etc. Tell them you are giving 14 days to pay up otherwise you will excercise your rights beneath the Sale of Goods Act (1979) as amended and also the Consumer Protection Act (1982). Tell the retailer that if you have to walk to law it will cost them more (legal fees etc.). The idea of your claim is that the 'product is not of merchantable quality, and is not fit for purpose'. You can write to your local Trading Standards Officer as economically. Proof of purchase and supplementary evidence is vital. Don't be fobbed past its sell-by date with not our glitch, contact your insurer etc. etc. Stand your ground.
Yes, but you have get to prove that you put their petrol in your vehicle
Yes. Its their product.
I put Morrisons contaminated petrol in my coup¨¦ and my two front tyres have go bald, I will be suing.
People should transport their receipts as proof of purchase, and for costs incurred, to where they bought the contaminated fuel, and they should be reimbursed by them. It is after up to the outlet owners to recoup those costs from the resourceful supplier...

It's basically like as if you have bought not working goods...stuff which aren't fit for the purpose they were bought for. You pinch them back to the place you bought them and should know how to get a settlement or credit note. It is consequently up to the shop owner to sort it out with their supplier...

I suppose that it is around time that this stopped, how just about you?

Question:
lb102.4bn: Spent by foreign bidders buying British companies so far this year*
lb645.7bn: Spent on buying British companies since Labour came to power surrounded by 1997*
lb18bn: Value of the biggest foreign takeover of a UK firm - the public sale of 02 to Spain's Telefonica
626: Number of British companies falling into foreign hands so far this year*
9: Number of FTSE 100 companies 'taken out' or below offer from foreign bidders within past two years
7: Number of Premiership football clubs bought or roughly speaking to be bought by foreign investors
3m: Number of British jobs dependent on foreign owners

lb1bn: Estimated worth of tax breaks enjoy by Spain's Iberdrola as a result of its buyout of Scottish Power
0: Number of developed countries other than Britain that hold an open-door policy on foreign takeovers
* source: Dealogic

Answer:
Absoloutely. But unhappily, there's no legislation against them.
The problem being:
1. The greed and drought of forsight of the company owners and share holders.
2. The lack of comprehension by the standard populous as to how serious to Britains economy this can become.
3. The apathy by those who do.

Also, 1/2 the problem is, adjectives the political parties are not interested surrounded by the long term discount of the country. So there policies are adjectives directed into creating short term income and are not of a mind to invest on long term industries or design.
That is why Japan and America do so well for instance.
An example is the silicon chip. It be actually invented by a British inventor, but because no use could be found for it at the time, the rights be eventually bought by the Japanese. Who spent 20 years of investment into the first electronic microchipped calculators were created. Then look what happen from the 70's to the 90's Japan became the highest industrial power in the World. Weve also taken companies resembling Wessex, who made helicopters in the 80's and be making a good profit and sold it stale for no reason than for the group to use the profit to help bestow everone a cut in income charge.
The whole mode our Government is elected and the power that is given them to do what they do is flawed. I suggest that the Government should be paid on an annual appraised dictum. Which is approved by an independent body, taking into account, the policies they enjoy made and introduced, the state of the annual economy and any superfluous things, such as either negatively, for procreating war, or positively, helping to implement long term research. Maybe next we can see a Great Britain again.
the door swings both ways!
Why don't you start up a fund to buy up all these "British" companies and institutions? I would suggest that the amount of subscriptions you would receive would be something like equal to the number of beans that make five.
It's up because of globalisation and there is nil me, you or anyone on RunEye.com can do to stop it.
You pose a very pious question.

But may I give to your list British job lost due to companies employing cheap hard work abroad.

Yes, this should stop

Well done for asking this put somebody through the mill.
The same thing is occurring throughout the U.S. as well. It's call capitalism, greed and globalization. In this ,mindset, people would vivaciously shoot themselves in the foot (or head) if they thought they'd kind a profit on the deal. They'll claim that the work is staying here so the money is staying here as all right. Sounds good if you have a sneaking suspicion that getting someone else's table scraps and bread crumbs is "Money." What they don't seem to be to understand is that first, the big money will categorically be leaving the country and second, that the owner can close shop and move to their home country anytime they please near no recourse by the locals.
Because this government is individual too happy to get rid of us all out, and have made a very accurate job of doing so, it is the one and only thing that they own made a good living of.
It works both ways except that when the foreign companies take over one of our utilities they stop adjectives investment into it and make huge profits and consequently when the utility really looks like failing they get rid of it at another huge profit and the process starts all over again.
Happy Christmas.
to answer your press - yes it should stop, but it wont.

but it doesnt stop with foreign companies.

This parliament paid a "grant" of some numbers of millions to a UK company who promptly used it to drive hundreds of other UK firms lower than. According to the DTI they cant put restrictions on what firms can use the money for. But it alright because the headline reads 800 job saved (25 miles from tony blairs constituancy) a bit than detailing the jobs lost within south (hundreds of miles from Tonys constituancy)
you finally understand capitalism.
