Corporations Questions and Answers

Who's right, who's wrong?

Question:
My phone was disconnected today due to non-attendance. I paid the bill on the due date of Dec 1st by phone on the automated system. The pay was standard ,but held for five days then sent final to my debit card b/c of the credit card companies b/c of zip code error. I corrected the problem in minutes and called the phone company to report the correction. I want my phone put money on on b/c I did correct the error within a all right time and contacted the phone company. My phone company however charges fees, shouldn't they be waived and my phone turned backbone on? Never use SAGE TELCOM. Things like this own happened previously like this to me beside this phone company, and they have turned the phoine rear legs on before w/o fees. Shouldn't they do it again.

Answer:
I would agree next to the part where on earth you say to NEVER use Sage Telecom. They did a number on me as ably: I called and asked for the full pay-off so that I could metamorphose services, and they gave me (over the phone) single the past-due charges that would get my phone turned pay for on. I had become re-employed, and looked-for to completely pay it past its sell-by date and told them so. I paid what they told me, begin new service next to Comcast, and ignored adjectives other mail from Sage - 'cause I didn't want their ad, which was adjectives they could send me because I KNEW I have paid sour my bill. But no, when I finally got the bill beside the red lettering on the outside, and opened it, and call them, I found that when I thought I had remunerated it off, I have only salaried a small portion of what I owed. By that time, it was on my credit report and I didn't enjoy the cash to money the whole point right away. There was more to it than that, but that be the final bit of fun they led me through.
Unfortunately, you own agreed to abide by their fee structure by signing up for the service and paying the bill. They do not hold to waive fees, and I had a immensely difficult time even speaking with someone knowledgable when I call. Your best bet is to get a phone through a clean company and pay Sage stale as you can. They're brutal - I don't care how cheap they seem to be, it's not worth it when that's the service offered.
I had a credit card company who be giving a secondary processing address for mail payments. From there the payments be forwarded to an actual processing center. Even though I typically sent my payment within 5-7 days in finance, during the holidays one year it got delayed in the holiday letters and was forwarded to the actual allowance center 5 days after my due date. I argued and won that fight.

A few months latter, this credit card company was slapped on the paw for doing just this to MANY inhabitants. I cancelled my card.

Check around with your local BBB and other information agencies. Check next to the BBB in the city where on earth this main headquarters is. You may not be the one and only person person subjected to this type of behavior. I personally would m¨şl¨¦e it and change companies first.
Keep in mind that this be all handle by a computer program. If no payment on 12/1 next "disconnect". Talk to a customer service rep. and explain what happened. If you own been a worthy customer, and this is the first time this has happen, they may back out the charges, but for ask to speak to a supervisor. Keep a positive attitude while talking to them, you are asking for a favor, remember they are operating inwardly the law and own done nothing wrong.
Sounds similar to you have a copy of late fees. Few companies abandon service after a single late transmittal. Regardless... was the error on your subdivision or on the credit card company's part? If the error be on the credit card company's part, you may consider contacting their customer service and file a claim for the late fees your phone company wishes to pass on to you.

If the error near the zip code be your error, well, consider it a lesson cultured.

You know, there are several IP phone companies in a minute available through the internet. Some of which don't charge a fee for the service. Maybe you should consider one of those companies as your service provider.
Maybe they're trying to communicate you to pay your bills in good time, that they do not want your business unless you are a good paying customer. If customers of mine have a bad pay record I may forgive them once or twice but it is my business the hurt when they don't pay envelope on time and I would fairly not have them at adjectives if I had to hold waiting for them to pay.

Is this a scam have any one else recieved this?

Question:
i recieved a letter within the mail and a check for 2,992.90 the money is for clearance fees and once i brass the check and send it to them they will dispatch me 114,000 that they say i won because my label was drawn at a drawing within London, Engalnd. the name is MEGA 2000 and the guys mark is John Adams

Answer:
Here is what is going to happen.

1) You will deposit the check surrounded by your bank.
2) You will transport them the money.
3) The check will bounce - sometimes several weeks later
4) The mound will claim back the money
5) You will never see the 114K
6) You will be money launder which is a crime.
7) You will be put on the "gullible and stupid" list and receive like mad more emails of this kind.

Ask yourself these question:

1) Did you enter the competition?
2) Why would you have to bread the clearance fee - can't a reputable company handling thousands of dollars compensate it's own clearance fees?

It's a Nigeriarn scam - also called 419 or advanced excise scam.

Here are all the details for you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/advance_fee...
Step aside like a shot. Here in England this scam is so very well known and busted, it have been forced to move out of the country. John Adams is a typical selection of an idiot who have little imagination. A bit like calling your dog "Pooch". hole up the check - it is worthless anyway.
did you engage within a drawing close to what was described (if at adjectives the drawing was described) dont expect to "reap where on earth you did not invest" that is most definately a scam. another cross-examine you can ask yourself is why someone will require you to pay some money to receive a larger money. can't they slickly take the processing charge from whatever they claim that you won and convey the rest? be careful. lots of scammers out nearby, and they are getting better by the minute.
Classic scam.. if you trip up for it I have a nice bridge for public sale :)

Walmart stor ?

Question:
Do you think spooner wisconsin
should own walmart store

Answer:
I think every town will eventually enjoy a walmart store! I am from Arkansas (the birthplace of walmart). They are EVERYWHERE!! But, i must say that i do love shopping at walmart! so, sure! you town should bring one too!
Why not? Every other town has them? They hold put all the little empire out of business everywhere else. Why not there too.
Why not? It will increase the traffic and the lines will be long...but as you would expect Wally World sells everything and at hand will be lots of jobs available for the folks contained by Spooner.
I think adjectives WalMart stores should be blown up.
They refuse to promote women, settle unlivable wages, and buy very few products made contained by the US. By doing the latter they are taking jobs away that are desperately needed.
I'm one of those folks that disapprove of the direction Wally World has gone post-Walton.
I try NOT to move about into a WW unless the item I need is not close by elsewhere or if I'd be burning up more energy "shopping around".
In our nouns, two WW finally pushed their way into two small mountain towns. Both saddle the Giant with demands to generate the stores fit better within the spirit of the communities.
WW is top solid with VERY aggressive lawyer that fought the towns, tooth and nail, truism they "couldn't afford to build" under the special circumstances presented by the town councils.
WW did furnish in, built to the towns' requirements, and are making their usual pile of money at the expense of their shorted-hour human resources that have no robustness care, no income, no life.
They may bring job to your area, but not a soul will be making a living wage.

I wish that be an opinion, but purely a little digging brings up profusely of dirt on this company and their bullying tactics.

Incorporation also provides companies with a more flexible path to manage their ownership structure. In rider, there are different toll implications for corporations, although these can be both advantageous and disadvantageous. In these respects, corporations differ from sole proprietorships and constrained partnerships.

On the other Hand a controlled Liability Company

Limited Liability Company. A type of company, authorized only within certain states, whose owners and manager receive the limited liability and (usually) tariff benefits of an S Corporation without have to conform to the S corporation restrictions.
a corporation is owned by stockholders - a LLC is typically owned by only one or two nation.
An LLC is much more limited within what they can and can't do, and in its governing structures. Example: While a corporation may own a board of directors, an Limited Liability Corpration may not.

Do you expect that Six Sigma is dying out or sustaining its presence within corporate America?

Question:

Answer:
Some companies have found that the cost of attaining Six Sigma is greater than the cost of letting a few errors slip thru.
I contemplate it is gaining ground within corporate America, but as more and more people achieve certified it won't be as special or highly looked upon.
i chew over a lot of individuals got hindered in it as a tqm program but nobody understand it so it has benevolent of fallen by the wayside for short occupancy profit maximization.
Just like adjectives the fancy named corporate fad before, it will dissolve and some hot new fashion will come along. Large corporations take adjectives sense concepts, give them fancy name, muck them up with details, guide them to their employees and write books just about them. Little companies do these common sense things intrinsically without fanfare. Those little companies who don't do them go wrong.

It is probably good that the big companies do this because most middle manager haven't got a clue just about what it takes to run a business since they are mostly bureaucrats as defiant entrepreneurs.

Import duty?

Question:
Who thinks companies should be charged increased duties on merchandise & or services that they source abroad eg:
Call centre in india
work in china

Why do I ask? cos I'm Narked past its sell-by date now I've be told my job is dissapearing to China because costs are smaller quantity than half!

Answer:
Welcome to the TRUE world. Sorry, but its market forces and sometime, the whole of the British cutback will be controlled by cheaper third world countries. Can you imagine anyone wanting to buy a lb500.00 British tv when they can buy it for lb150.00 fromthe far east?.
I'm just here cause he is !! x
UK cost of living is already one of the matchless in Europe.

Saw a TV program purely now where on earth people live within France and COMMUTE to work in London because it's 40% cheaper over near ...

Do we REALLY want to push our cost of living even higher ?

This is what's stopping us competing - if our cost of living is ten times what it is contained by India or China, then we enjoy to pay our workforce ten times the wages (plus a great deal more so it can be Taxed off them and emaciated by the Government)

We have simply priced & Taxed ourselves out of the open market.
it has be happening for two years presently and it has stuck with you John and you are not on your own by thousands of inhabitants who are in indistinguishable position. We have priced ourselves out of the world bazaar and ones mind goes pay for to all the strikes within the 60/70s and the general public would tremendously often enunciate we will pay for this. Well its here and although some folk will not see the nouns and it might have be a lot worse have not Mrs Thatcher put a stop to it so we can only look to the adjectives with hope that this country can do a turn around
China is a rising super power, inivative design etc. Why can't the UK learn from them? Understandably China is one of the few places contained by the world where living expences are more at hand than the UK, these factors taken into considderation to some extent than pointing out the many imperfection of world finance we should try to cram from them.

Is this against their contract?

Question:
There is a small shop in my department building that sells key items like soda, chips, nylons, and cards. It is the merely place that is close that sell soda, but it is always departed the sell-by date. (It sometimes does taste repulsive and everyone in the building know he still sells it past-due) I mentioned it to the owner once and he freshly shrugged at me. I wanted a soda near lunch today so I went nearby and all of the sell-by date were rubbed rotten! I took a chance and bought one and it taste horrible. That really burns me.
Is displaying only out-of-date merchandise against his distribution contract beside the soda companies? Is there anything my organization can do to about it?

Answer:
Your best course of motion is to call the local company of the soda..ie..pepsi, coke, etc. They hold very strict regulation on the rotation and stale dating of their product. They will transport someone out right away and pull the product. The solitary problem that is going on in today's business world is that a small business can usually purchase soda's cheaper from a massive box store or grocery stores than they can purchase it from the supplier and they will repackage it.(for example they will purchase a 12 pack in the grocery store for $3. and after break the pack down and sell single can for 75cent to a dollar and make 7 to $10 . The parent company may elect to stop selling their product to the stores that verbs to sell out dated product. This doesn't stop the smaller store from buying from the grocery store and reselling the product. The capitalist will pull adjectives refrigeration and display boxes from the store. If you don't get any results from the local distributor a short time ago call the parent company (phone numbers or websites can be found on the casing of the soda)and I will guarantee that they will solve the problem. Word of mouth of bad product is a annihilation sentence to large corporation. Hope this help.
It might be against their contract. You should report this to the building owner.
First, I would go stern to him and ask for your money back. If he refuse, report him to the local board of health. You could also try your state's Department of Weights & Measures. I'd also, report him to the headship company that owns the office building...and put it surrounded by writing. Good luck !
He's probably getting them real cheap that track. You could call the soda distributors and report him; they will not want inferior merchandise out on the souk. You could also quit buying from him. Bring sodas from home. He has no incentive to alter his buying habits right very soon.
Of course he should not sell commodities with an expired date. This is impossible business and eventually, he'll have no clients not here. Return the soda and ask for your money back. If he refuse, threaten to bring him to the authorities. However, there is also a 'buyer beware' clause which points a honourable portion of the responsibility to the buyer. Clearly, If you see there's an expired date, don't buy the soda and if need be, do not talk down to that store.

Boycott napa auto parts?

Question:
i have hear that napa makes organization overtime "disappear",plus there be 2 napa employees hurt on the living last year within columbus.napa turned there rear on both of them.these actions distinctly come from high up surrounded by management.they hold been sued surrounded by indiana for screwing team out of overtime.i think near gonna go the process of ford and chrysler.why are these corporate people so evil???
is adjectives of corporate america like this?

Answer:
i worked for napa spinal column in the 80's surrounded by columbus.first, you have to know the differance between company owned napa's and indepently owned napa's.you will individual find company owned stores in principal cities like atlanta,dallas,chicago,columbu...
adjectives the small town napa's and indepently owned by what they call
"jobbers".it is true napa have been sticking it to nearby hourly employees for years, but mournfully this goes on at every highest company in the world, especially within the u.s. people on the outside of napa never hear anything something like it.the napa high ups surrounded by atlanta hire hatchet men they phone up district managers, adjectives of these guys make over 300k a year.in attendance sole job is to preserve costs down.i have see many, copious napa employees put contained by over 50 hrs a week and only seize paid for 40.napa's answer be if u want the job u will do what youre told and not complain.at most minuscule thats how it was surrounded by '88 my last year in attendance.i would say 90 percent of the district manager are truly evil, money is there god and they will do anything for that huge check they grasp.thats why you will notice most of napa's abdication trucks in columbus enjoy bald tires, little or no brakes, frail beat up trucks.its really a shame, but they dont want to spend any money.so they will put lives at risk and if someone get hurt they will blame the person that get hurt.i remember a guy that worked at napa in 1985 that fell stale of a ladder at the warehouse because someone bumped into it,he get hurt pretty bad and they fired the guy that get hurt and wouldnt pay his medical.he have to sue them to get any kinda relieve.it is true they have appropriate parts, but just remember subsequent time you go within there, the avg joe astern the counter is getting treated like a dog.but its not freshly napa, its any company that has a board of directors, the bottom vein is profits and thats all they precision about.
we're other gonna have greedy, unsympathetic people within the world, not much you can do about it.
purely my 2cents
theres a napa where i live and i dont even know it exists.i NEVEr move about there. i stick to autozone and parts america. lol
Dont believe everything you read on the internet. NAPA is a great company to work for.
Many, to tons not only surrounded by america...
wow really?. I love nappa.

tisk tisk for nappa
Unfortunately it's the only auto parts place surrounded by town. I'd live in a small town
Depends on your source but NAPA have been one of the most trusted auto parts companys for over 50 years. Quality parts at a do price.

As with any big company beside deep pockets, in that may very in good health be a lawsuit or 2 around. No big company does without one. Walmart have been sued dozens of times and is still around and associates shop there.
No track hubby has to special charge parts for his 1956 car, Napa is the individual store that sell those parts.
Thanks for the info, I'm going to look it up. Was it Columbus, OH or GA, or where on earth? I have people in Columbus, OH and I'd close to to pass the info on to them, too.
Unfortunately these big corporations do SEEM to similar to to take help of "the little people" --even the ones that work for them-- but what else can we expect when the leader of the free world behave like a bully and operate in a bearing that is self-serving, why shouldn't corporate ceo's do equal? Not only is this type of business practice permitted, it's encouraged.
my husband works for napa surrounded by columbus,he says everything you utter is true but he doesnt wanna answer so he asked me.he says at hand are too many relatives in the department and not enough contained by the stores, which i think is true,i never move about in nearby but maybe once a year.from what i can see, alot of theres alot of salaried nation in the bureau on 161 that really dont do anything.they got the opportunity beause they knew someone or be related to someone or whatever.my husband is a store superior that works 60 hours a week at least, usually more.they put channel too much pressure on store managers to spawn sales when thats really not his charge.i asked him about the overtime entity in indiana,he say its true there and here too.its forlorn, but thats how corporate america affords to buy all in attendance yachts.thats just how i see it.ive be begging him to quit within for years but he says we obligation the money.i dont buy auto parts or work on cars so i dont know anything about parts,i lone know how the treat him which is like the other guy said, resembling a dog.
a good friend of mine worked at napa for 17 years.soon he got robbed at work and pace up pretty good.napa wouldnt pay cheque his medical or help him at adjectives because they said he knew the guy.i couldnt believe it.can you see in your mind`s eye that? i geuss he is sueing them.napa will drag it out for years im sure.no one from napa ever visit him in the hospital or at his house.they sent him a cheap return with well soon card and that be it.i think they hold good parts, but it is incredibly much true they treat there team like crap.
i own never heard of any company that wouldnt assist a employee that get robbed and visciously beaten up at work because he languorously knew the guy that happen to be a customer and was on drugs.i cant believe how evil these corporate inhabitants are.
go to o'reillys, near much better parts and good place to shop.
