Has anyone have problems near Royal Mail?

I posted a parcel about 10-11 months ago using Royal Mail.
I can't remember if I used special confinement or normal record now because it be that long ago.
Anyway the parcel supposedly never arrived at its destination and after all this time I havent get the postage receipt anymore.
I be hoping that Royal Mail would have kept history but they are trying to say that I never sent the parcel because they havent get any records of it.
Has anyone else out in that had any problems next to Royal Mail similar to me?

If you sent it recorded or special afterwards you should have kept the account. Royal Mail can't be expected to keep track of respectively and every one of the millions+ parcels and letters sent within the UK every year.

Yes I've had tons of problems near royal mail. Unless you enjoy the proof of posting you don't stand much of a chance. With record delivery they claim that it's simply recorded as posted and consequently as delivered and cannot be tracked, the rest of the time it's beside the rest of the post. Special delivery is abundantly safer as they monitor it the whole method.
Unless you've got the proof of posting and the item have a value, the best you'll grasp from them is a book of stamps. However, you can try postwatch who will take up your complaint for you.
