Why aren't you allowed to rob film/video/photos inside stores?

A friend and I were doing a project for a class and go to a Salvation Army to film ourselves looking at the clothing near. We started filming and an member of staff approached us and said that it wasn't allowed within the store.
I can become conscious in retail stores why this may be a problem because of rival stores stealing thinking or whatever (even after, it's a pretty lame rule), but the Salvation Army?

I waited 6-8 weeks once for books/cds that weren't on backorder. When I emailed them to call off the order, they sent accounts. This was several years ago though. Perhaps they hold improved? I tend to establish from www.bn.com which is Barnes and Noble.

Being a truck driver...parking is a problem especially when they put in the idol aire that take up too much parking area. Every one desires their freight but no accomidations for the large commercial vehicle and to roll contained by after 7 pm...you'll be lucky to find a spot or have to pay cheque to park! That is why you see the rest areas over filled and to see the tight~cheap motorhomes contained by there taking up a space surrounded by the truck parking angers me! We can't pull into a RV park for the dark and some Walmarts put up the heigth barriers to allow motorhomes but not the hardworking truck driver.
