I called my Bank and after my telephone/cable service provider and both calls be answered in India, although the staff used English fore or surnames, and surrounded by some cases both, possibly to try and gain my confidence in their cleverness to deal next to my query.

It got me wondering, if these big corporations are trying to accumulate money by getting cheap labour within India, why not utalise ex or existing British colonies, when outsourcing calls, where on earth the population speak English as a first language? i.e. Caribbean Islands similar to Jamaica, where the currency is in truth weaker than the Indian currency and the Island and its people are still suffering from the effects of colonialism.

They've built huge telephone call centers, trained workers with mission specific skills, and enticed big businesses with lucrative deal. No one chose IndiaIndia beat out the competition. It's capitalism at it's finest (stated near no sarcasm).

Yeah I similar to the use names similar to John or Sarah. Yet if you ask them to spell it... thats where the fun starts. "Oh john, my sons first name is Jon, how do you spell it?" Education, they already most times hold a great back ground within computers, the labor rates are good and the resources are great.
