I be aware of bad for those who lost their job due to cut backs, after to find out their outgoing CEO is receiving a "Golden Parachute". The worst piece of all is that these relations probably don't care give or take a few the money they receive, they're millionaires. It's the glory of making more than the other CEO's. Never mind the guys who live pay check to settle check...
The disparity between the salary of a CEO vs. a regular full time member of staff who actually earn the money for the CEO, is grossly disheartening in lots cases.
It's total bullsh*t if you ask me. No one deserves 28 mil for 4 months worth of work (Allan Mullally of Ford), I don't care how much they bring to the table.
All of these corporations are trying to pinch over, and this is where capitalism have failed. They forget that the more you hang on to strip mining and fleecing the American workforce, the less citizens will be able to afford, consequently we won't be able to buy any of the sh*t they want to flog us, then they'll stop making profits, and I don`t know it will hit them in their billionaire pockets.
The average CEO's take-home pay is about 500 - that's right, FIVE HUNDRED - times the average employee's stipend working for them. Bastards.
Depends I guess. Being a CEO of a small company would tell me that CEO's are risk takers and enjoy gotten where they are by taking risks and building network skills and investing effort and time. This unsurprisingly does not stand up when they make tens of millions of dollars per year. That is an outrage and misuse of company funds that could sustain the workers up a peg or two
