Can I submit a Cease and Desist spy to Yahoo if someone is using my trademark to puff other services?
Question:
Assuming that someone has timetabled in the Yahoo directory to provide services similar to "Hot and Tasty Pizza's', the trademark of which I own, can I send Yahoo or Yellow Pages a Cease and Desist spy and insist that they take this want ad down?
Is Yahoo liable in this bag?
Answer:
I don't think you in truth own the trademark on "Hot and Tasty Pizza's."
You may be using it as your "trademark," but unless you have this registered near the US Patent and Trademark Office, giving you the right to use (R) with the designation, it's pretty well embark on for others to use, as long as they aren't in your geographic nouns, and don't confuse your potential customers.
The genuineness is, Hot and Tasty Pizza's is DESCRIPTIVE, (much like Radial Tires) and that phrase may not be claimed exclusively for registered trademark( (R)) purposes. You would not be capable of register this with the USPTO.
You do not own any rights to send Yahoo or Yellow Pages a Cease and Desist identify.
And, even if this was your Registered Trademark (registered near the US Patent and Trademark Office, giving you the right to use (R) by the name) Yahoo would NOT be liable in this armour.

I need to bid on a storybook construction project as part of schol. how do you format a proposal to an invitation to bid. I know it have to include material costs.
Answer:
There are plentiful ways of bidding. The simplest way to create a bid is to look at a retail store bill or coup¨¦ service bill which would give adjectives the components that need to run on a bid: starting from the date, company name..Manager's sign, lingo and condition.
Typically in a construction project the bid elements would include : materials and supplies, overheads on materials (inventory costs etc.,) labor and its overheads, profit % tariff on materails and labor (if any), VAT and finally total cost.
Top the bid details with a covering communiqu¨¦, stating the intent, your understanding of the circle of work, time lines, why you feel you qualify better than others, and what you would deliver best if you are awarded the project.
A Dir Ops Acct violate Co. policy by snag ancient inventory reserve. Advise on Ethics?
Question:
I report to the Division Director of Ops Accounting. The company has written procedures for establishing reserves for out of date inventory. Recently this Director decided to ignor a couple of procedures so that he could rearrange the bottom line. The impact is roughly $400k in reserves on $50 mil of inventory. The Directory falsified physical inventory tag to make this come up. I politely advised him that this may be wrong. The Director stated that this is ethical because the amount is not material. This Director reports to the CFO. He indicated that the CFO requests to do this, and the CFO can do what ever he wants to do.
The Director Of Financial Accounting be present when I expressed my concerns about this human being unethical.
I want to do what is right, but I am confused nearly this issue. Am I being to critical? Do CFO's and Director's typically enjoy the authority to make this type of alter? Should I report this to the Corp Ethics Review board?
Answer:
Yes, what you have stated is wrong and most people surrounded by finance would call for it "Creative accounting", having said that, what should you do? You hold a job to protect, if you whistle-blow you will probable be blackballed for it, as you are probably aware. Or are you? The Oxley Sarbaines Act <--spell check, was in-acted to protect relations like yourself. However, at what price? You are contained by the best position to know how susceptible you might be should anything come to light. Not knowing your corporate structure, one and only you know how high up you can thieve this.
Is it best to let sleeping dogs pretend, or do you honestly feel your Corp Ethics Review board would whip this matter seriously? If it be me I would have save an intranet e-mail from my supervisor regarding his response to your inquiry. Is he dumb adequate to put such an opinion contained by a company e-mail or private e-mail? I doubt it. So no one is surrounded by better position than yourself to decide what is the right piece to do. You don't have to be told almost going over someones head, I am sure. Possibly you might surface more comfortable anonymously reporting this. However, you have already see the creative accounting, and anything anonymous may come directly back to you. Not a devout position to be in. I deduce you should take time to infer about your option and document as much as you can. You may even be able to use this information as a bargain chip if this company decides to call off you. Food for thought. Good luck.
Thats not even a question.

You should know what the check is for in the past worrying about where on earth it is from...
Some checks are contracts so that when you cash them you enter an agreement to purchase a service close to long distance phone services or disability credit protection.
Investigate WHY you have the check. If you are delighted you are owed the money - cash it at a check cashing place instead of your edge if you still have concerns.
If surrounded by doubt about a check, contact the sandbank that is name on the check. They can tell you if the check is upright or not, and if the account have enough money for the check to clear. Don't use the phone number to be precise on the check - look it up online or by calling information.

Does anyone boycott Walmart and if so why?
Question:
I boycott them because they are a bad employer and do not grant employess benefits. I also do not like it that their clothes are made using sweatshops overseas and child labor. I also do not similar to it because they do not use American businesses and crowd out small business from a comunity.
I know some people boycott because they use unjust immigrants for some job like cleaning at hours of darkness.
If you boycott walmart why do you do it?
I use Target and K Mart more, but target the most.
Has anyone read how walmart is destroying America the book or seen any of the films?
Answer:
I hold read the book and seen the picture High cost of Low prices. I boycott them because they send American job overseas. Because they treat their eimployees like crap. Because of the slave labor and child labor. They are thoroughly greedy and evil.
I am poor and thier prices are decent, but I basically can't support the things they do.
I shop at WalMart because I'm on a fixed income and I can afford their products. There are no Target or K Marts anywhere near but they are both more expensive beside no better quality.
why would any one do that? i consider it's kinda stupid
No I do not boycott Walmart. If the employees reckon that they are getting treated so bad, later why do they still work there?
Yes, but I also dislike KMart because they're now affiliated next to Sears. That means if you buy a vaccuum cleaner you won't know how to get the oodles for it without special order; you have to listen to a schpiel for the extended warrantee even if you're lately buying tube sox; and six store clerks standing around but none of them allowed to help you. No, appreciation.
Why I don't shop at WalMart
1. They will sell at a loss purely to knock out the local businesses
2. They support slave labor
3. They support horrible pollution that's maiming newborns within China
4. I'm sick of paying for their employees' health effort
5. I, for one, am not thrilled to own cheap crap that wears out simply so I get to move about shopping again.
I do not shop at Walmart; their hiring practices, treatment of their employees, and some sources of stuff are questionable, at best. My son worked for them for six weeks and quit, and he's not a person who quits a mission lightly; his treatment as an member of staff was awful, and he be asked to work overtime without reward. He was also discouraged from applying for benefits.
Yes, I absolutely boycott Walmart. I'm a former employee and I know how the company really is. The benefits are devastating, the pay is really desperate, and you're treated like crap.
I live surrounded by a fairly small town and ,if I could, I would stop shopping at Walmart altogether, but at this time near is no other place that's only going on for a mile away from my house. However, we are getting a Super Target and an H.E.B. Plus(that's a Texas based grocery store) exceedingly soon. As soon as they are built my Walmart shopping days are over.
I do not boycott them, because they are the only store inside 45 miles of my house.

How does Protect & Gamble promote their Oil of Olay?
Question:
Answer:
P&G promotes their Olay brand through television advertisement and coupons. In the ads, Olay tell how their products help downsize wrinkles or makes the skin appear better. Olay used to be singular for the face but in a minute they have products that can be used on your entire body.

Why,what have they done?
because they own parts of congress
basis nee coustomers
Big profit equals political influence.
Because greedy shoppers don't care where on earth the stuff comes from, and they like cheap unwanted items cause when it breaks, they draw from to go shopping again.
They are untouchable, they own too much money, and consequently too much power over politicians...like so oodles other companies, they are bigger and stronger than some countries of the world
because money talks surrounded by this country, you get satisfactory bought politicians and anythng is possible.
walmart blows
why, thngs are cheap. The stores are large, convenient and sympathetic 24 hours. Communism has broken down. But it is enormously strange that they do not have a strong bazaar share in the UK. As elsewhere resembling China, they monopolize the market completely.
They are a publically traded company.
