Anyone know anything just about working for Countrywide Financial?

I have a opportunity interview with them as a mortgage sale consultant. It'd be my first job out of college. Leads given to me every afternoon, no cold calling. Base and commission, benefits, etc. Any tips, hints, suggestions for the interview? Is it even a good undertaking? Thanks!

Answers:
I actually interviewed beside them and got the chore as a sales consultant. It's a correct solid company. They have 2 types of sale jobs inside and outside. Sounds close to your on the inside sales nouns. Paid less than outside sale but good for a personage just out of college. Great company, right benefits. They are one of the better lenders great rates, very competitive save better than the banks. Plus your not categorized as the typical broker. You'll concord with A or B thesis loans. Not the stiffs who don 't pay their bills.

ONLY PROBLEM I SEE: rates are going up vigorous which means a smaller open market for you. You may even struggle for a couple years but when rates go down again your going to be making over 100K. My friend who worked at Mid America Bsnk as a loan officer made $142K working for a reputable mound last yr. My warning for the interview is just stress that you are trainable next to the mortgage industry. Talk about what you can do for them. To prepare review behavioral interviewing question, they are looking for good communications skills. How do you nouns on the phone or under pressure? Let the interviewer finish speaking earlier you answer his /her question. A devout conclusion to the interview would be saying, " I've be following interest rates which are rising but based on the reputation of Countrywide company I know I'll be capable of do both purchase and refinance transactions with a in haste turnover (given the right tools)without feeling the lull within the industry." Say you'll be looking forward to coming out of the dip and by then you'll hold plenty of experience under your belt and you'll be primed for a lot more growth and work. But, you know you'll enjoy to put in your time.

Stress the I can produce despite the probability being against me.

Also, when the interviewer asks you what question do you have for him/her. Ask your question then ask: What made you want to sign up the mortgage industry? Why did you come to Countrywide?

If he doesn't say something something like the money, then you know he's lying through his teeth, and that he is a moment ago full of ****. THis is a good indication that you shouldn't be over-sensitive.

Good luck

let boycott the most important grease companies?

lets boycott the foremost oil companies?
Exxon and Mobil..... if adjectives of us start a boycott against the big ones we can show the world that we mean business detail me your with me on this I'm serious.........

Additional Details

Apr 19, 2006 at 7:25 pm
we cant use smaller quantity the world runs on gas everything and every company needs fuel start a pricing time of war with adjectives the oil companies is where on earth its at

Answers:
I agree great idea! I am next to you all the road!

Other Answers:
You might be surprised when the price actually rises. Inevitably in that will be a rush when the boycott ends, and boom price increase. Look at the balance sheet of Exxon or Chevron and you'll see they can occupy the losses if there are any. There really are no "independent" grease companies. There are independent gas stations but they don't import their own grease.

You are so stupid. If 90% of the race boycotted Exxon and Mobil, they would lower their prices 5 cents, and sell to the competitors. Where do you come up next to such lame ideas? It's be tried many times within are too many slaves that don't know any better.A pricing period of war would mean the prices would come down, ancestors would buy more, polluteeing more,I say jack the prices up and offer tax breaks to citizens that deserve it.Over tax pleasure boaters, their pleasure is massacre us all slowly.

Boycotting Exxon isn't going to work to bring down prices. If everyone stopped buying from Exxon and used the other providers, then the other providers would run out of gas pretty summarily due to supply and demand manacle effects. What would happen is that they would buy their gas from Exxon and overall adjectives prices would go up, not down.

Full mythbuster at Snopes.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/gasoline/gasout.asp

I've get to add that the approach to get gas prices lower is to use smaller number gas (lower demand). Carpool, use public transportation, etc.

cell phone co. inside of Sam's club? Wireless Retail INC. ever settlement w/them?

I used to work there. I worked in attendance for almost 4 years. WRI was located inside sams, BJ's, Menards....Was wanting feedback from former workers, or customers. Are they still in buisness? I hear they went down...Screwed their customers, and their workforce. I cannot find their website anymore, only doomed to failure stuff on consumer complaint websites. Please...any info is appreciated, as they did me wrong as well!

Answers:
Here is an article that explains what happen with Sam's Club,Radio Shack, and WRI:

RadioShack announced untimely last week that it will get going selling cell phones at 542 Sam's Club stores nationwide. The company have agreed to take over operation from Wireless Retail Inc. In a separate agreement, approximately 1,900 Wireless Retail associates and other employees will amalgamate RadioShack's current pool of 35,000 employees.

Can anyone detail me roughly the Enron shield contained by the US?

Answers:
enron directors are being charged for fraud as they benkrupted the company whilst apparently storing offshore accounts and investments contained by their own names using company money. simple as!

Other Answers:
omg youre a dumbass i cant believe you dont know!

What do you want to know? How it's progressing or what they did that was so wrong?

Enron be guilty of many things, but the most important issue was near their accounting practices. Essentially they would announce future stock price rises, and later do the fuzzy math internally to ensure that the price got to where on earth they wanted. On broadsheet they were totally solvent, but surrounded by practice they had massive debts and be sinking all the time. Profits be all within the minds of the top execs. In the end, the folks at the bottom lost their pensions and a main US company dissolved overnight.

Another of their illegal practices involved the California electricity bazaar. They artificially inflated the cost of power in California by creating a bogus shortage that did not exist. To congregate demand the state remunerated vastly over-inflated prices to secure the power they needed. Rolling blackouts be created at the whim of controllers outside the state. There are some infamous recordings of these individuals making comments almost, "someone's grandmother paying out of her a** to stay warm". I lived in San Francisco at the time of the blackouts and it be not a fun, happy time.

Kenneth Lay and Jeffrey Skilling should rot within prison. J. Clifford Baxter took his own life because he couldn't live next to the shame he knew be coming. Kenneth Lay famously walked into Skilling's organization with two stuff swatches. He wanted to know which color would look best surrounded by the new executive spout. Meanwhile Skillings was literally freaking out because in that was no passageway to hide the companies underhanded operation any longer. Lay was living on another planet from the rest of us.

lace the doughnuts with coke
Just seize there belief on how their workplace could be better for them. see what are those factors that don't slake. this will show them that you care for them. try to solve some of them if at all possible
Positive reinforcement. Rewards. Verbal recognition. Make the workplace seem to be less approaching a workplace, and more like a fun place where on earth they work at. Give them surveys on how morale, motivation, and work setting can be improved. Look at how G00GLE is fun. That place is one big funhouse.

Basically, if you treat your customers and human resources like royalty, everything else will drop into place.
Distance yourself from them personally, on the other hand take an live interest in their lives if they contribute.

Don't develop favorites or act overly friendly at work, even if you are. It alienates and reduce the productivity of those who will fell like outsiders.

If you hold bosses at work, write down everything they do that P**ses you off. Make sure you don't do one and the same to your employees.

Systemise everything. Build more wellbeing to your employees work. People will work better if they know they have a fate of progress in lives. I know I supervise 33 staff.
First find out why they be aware of they don't have to work. Then get hold of feed hindmost on what they feel would motivate them. They may involve some form of structure, or leadership that get them motivated. They may feel they don't enjoy to work, or don't have agendas or time frames.

How will we ever grasp sour of grease, when at hand is sooooo much money surrounded by grease?

with billions within profits, i don't think the grease companies will go away serenely!

Answers:
when it runs out, or is so expensive no one can afford it.

Other Answers:
The same bearing we got bad of horses when cars came along. Someone have to come up with something better. Better doesn't a moment ago mean cleaner and cheaper. It also way that companies can make more money sour of it than they do oil. Profit drives everything. When it is profitable to do it they will. The public will buy it if it is cheaper and confidently available. I would drive a natural gas saloon today if they weren't so expensive and fueling stations so hard to find. There ARE viable option but no one have invested enough to carry it to the market place surrounded by the kind of total needed to make it affordable and practical. By the path I decided to go and get a life.

we can kick them if `ll originate to use the Water f.e. or H2 O2? instead of oil.

Would you boycott Wal-mart?

WAL-Mart is a business leader surrounded by America, but their worker policies are bad for adjectives Americans. Do you agree?

Answers:
I try and avoid it as much as I can. Not only is it purely a rotten company, all of their merchandise is low trait crap.

Other Answers:
not really. walmart is the ****

Hey, don't spoil a apposite thing. WM usually have the best prices on everything. You can't beat that for free-enterprise. I agree near you. Although the poor worker policies do not affect only Americans....they affect everyone

I try as much as I can not to shop here.

I am already boycotting Wal-mart. I do not buy anything from them or any of their other enterprise -- It is my choice where I spend my money. if thier that impossible why do so many citizens work there?

Are you one of those people that loathe Halliburton also? Leave Wal-Mart alone, they supply a good product at a modest price.

I probably wouldn't be alive right now if it wasn't for wal-marts 19 cents per pound bananas and 3 cent packages of ramen noodles. They are honourable overall. They don't make population work for them.

Yes! I try to avoid it... it's doomed to failure for America. Or, if I do shop there, I try to buy products made contained by America, especially cotton products. I live in the middle of nowhere and Walmart is the single place to get abundantly of things. I wouldn't boycott it.

I haven't be to WalMart in 6 months, I AM boycotting it!

WalMart=Evil.

for you man, absolutely. Actually, if you do some research on how much a city's export tax base is tax when a Wal-mart is there, is heart-rending. The tax abatement's a city allows Wal-mart, is insane. You may hold a point, but boycotts are useless. Walmart is cheap and people will verbs to shop there because it's firm to pay more for something than you know it's worth merely on principle. Walmart's policies obviously aren't unpromising enough to hold on to people from working nearby.

Walmart not one and only undercompensates its employees, but it also discriminates against elderly and handicapped human resources and puts small, independent retailers out of business.

Sadly, many Americans caution only roughly the fact that they will stockpile a few bucks by shopping there... They do not strictness as long as they are not directly or intuitively affected.

Sucks. AND you wait within line for hours merely to get checked out by the 2 family checking...BLAH!

what is the difference between s corporate and partnership? and which is better for a small business? thank u!

i would like to start a smal business, i do know if i choose s corp, i hold to pay extra 4.5% of tariff. i just obligation some opinions to back me to figure out what i should do.

Answers:
A partnership is defined as an agreement between two or more those to carry on a business for profit. Partnerships survive singular as long as the individual partners, and as long as at lowest possible two partners remain. Partners are unanimously jointly and severally liable for the act of the partership.

A corporation is a separate legal entity, beside a perpetual lifespan which generally contemplates that a little investors with no liability excluding their investment will passively provide capital to the corporation contained by return for an expectation of distributed income or increased future stock good point.

Partnerships require the consent of the partners to concede a new partner. Corporation shareholders can verbs their shares freely to new shareholders and thereby create unknown passive investor/owners.

Partnerships require no document filings near the government -- corporations must be registered next to the Secretary of State of the jurisdiction of incorporation.

If you intend to seek investors who will hold a restrained interest in your corporation and hold no management control or liability for the corporations act, beyond the investors' investment, and who can freely transfer ownership to others, next a corporation is the best vehicle, because stock certificates are well transferred and well contained as a means of investment.

If you intend to hold other investors who will all share contained by the management of the business and will adjectives contribute approximately the same amount of means to the venture, consequently a partnership is a vehicle that can work.

There are also hybrid business entities between corporations and partnerships, such as restricted liability partnerships and restricted liability corporations.

Each hybrid originated as a process of avoiding taxation by the federal government. However, the IRS and Congress have steadfastly plugged every possible loophole and so in standard, most hybrid forms are just corporations underneath a different name.

In some states, some hybrid forms may enjoy some particular use such as an L.L.P. for directive firms or medical groups. But, generally these entities train up being operate identically to a corporation.

One benefit of hybrids which frequently remains is the ability to operate in need requiring bylaws and resolutions to make change in nouns and control functions.

Generally, however, the best vehicle is usually a corporation. If you intend to distribute substantially all of the corporation's profits on an annual proof, and not have a generous number of investors (i.e., 35+), then an S corporation is usually the easiest business to set up, although you must hang on to minutes of meetings and craft or get some bylaws and make resolutions surrounded by order to be entirely permitted about your operation. If you don't, and the corporation is ever sued, not having sufficient paperwork can cause the corporation to be discarded and the individual owner(s) reach for liability.

Hope this helps. Check out www.nolo.com for unforced to read books on business forms and creation.

Other Answers:
S Corp is much better. Better insulation from lawsuits and judgements. Very similar tax treatment, so I don't know how you would imagine the tax would be greater. Partnership is extremely easy to open, but the most difficult to unravel.

as mentioned contained by answer#2,a number of differences are in that.but the most important one is the press liability.
in bag of partnership, the liability is joint and several.within a limited company,as the dub signifies, the liability is limited ...to the extent of be a foil for amount payable by the share holder in respect of his share holding as per the prospectus issued at the time of issue of shares.
so long as the business is on a small go up and the other parties to the business are trustworthy close to wife,kids/parents,brothers etc it is better to start the business as a partnership basis as surrounded by a company a no of statutory compliances are there which send for for ealborate organisation which adds to costs..
