I'm confused...i've heard that LLC can tight-fisted Limited Liability Corporation, or Limited Liability Company. I know that if the LLC is a Corporation, they should not recieve a 1099, but a company should, so how do I know when a company that is call an LLC is a corporation or not??

In California (and Delaware and most other states), "LLC" stands for "Limited Liability Company." It is not a "corporation" as such. If an LLC conducts business where it is compensated for services, then the LLC should properly be issued a 1099 for services compensated to it. This would be true whether the issuing entity paid for services to an LLC or a corporation or an individual. Consult your tariff preparer or accountant for more details.
