How do radio staions know how copious nation are listen?

Question:

Answer:
I know TV stations get external companies to monitor what ancestors are watching through surveys. They're not totally accurate, but I think it's the individual way at the moment.
By the response to the radio station's sponsors and relations who are selling things on the radio. If the response isn't good, not too copious people are listen.
Having worked in the radio business for slightly a few years, I know that this is done through ratings. At this time, members of the public inwardly a certain nouns are contacted by phone to guage their interest in participating. There is some committment involved here as a character must be willing to log radio listen hours for one full week.

Upon acceptance, a small diary/log is mail to these individuals. Participants share some personal information in this book (thereby providing a snapshop of the typical listener). Each year, participants are asked to transcribe in the book what radio station they listen to, at what time of day and for how long. This could be at home, at work, while driving or while sitting surrounded by a coffee shop. Since radio listeners can be rather fickle types, listen times are broken down into 15-minute increments (it's pretty easy to switch stations if you don't resembling the music on one). The 15-minute slots also account for busy types who are tuned contained by the morning just to hear the on a daily basis weather forecast as they prepare for work.

At the end of the reporting time, these logs are mailed away; statistics are compiled and later provided to the radio stations. Radio announcers usually dread these reports as many own been fired for poor/low numbers. This is a direct weighing up on how effective the announcer is at keeping his/her audience's attention. The collected numbers are the most meaningful for morning and afternoon drive radio shows (with both being the most listen to programs),

For participating, a person will capture some token amount of cash (I can't remember how much this is, but it is mail in-advance with the booklet).

The answer above from "catfish" is to a degree correct ... radio station sales staff recurrently use the reported numbers as an incentive to prospective clients to buy airtime (it's nice for a business owner to know how many inhabitants - and potential customers for him/her - are listening to a specific radio station and unmistaken demographics about those listeners).

Potential internet scammers?

Question:
Anyone ever heard of UK Money Laundering department of the senate? Apparantly, whenever you're gonna get a big cheque from someone put into your reason, they need you to buy a charter that says it isn't anything to do near terrorism, etc. Sounds very suspect to me. The lone email address they could give be a hotmail address (www.ukantimoneylaundry_dept@h... which i find strange that a top government agency uses hotmail... Oh, and this area monopoly happens to be 970pounds. Any thoughts on this?

Answer:
This is definately a SCAM!

Sounds resembling a similar one to the person previously who got scammed by a group claiming he won the lottery.

The nonspecific rule is that unless you have specifically requested information by email, IGNORE ANYTHING explicitly unsolicited.

If it sounds too good to be true, afterwards it is! :-)
ignore it they scamming you
phone medium govt office (and consent to them direct you to the relevant office) and get this checked out.

The hotmail address is thoroughly dodgy

The whole entity sounds extremely iffy..
lol i've got a strange sensation that this just may be somewhat suspect. that has to be the cheesiest and dodgiest sounding piece ever.
i don't think the rule would use hotmail think ur self scammed!
It's so hard in this day and age, the Government scams us adjectives so much, it's hard to believe that this is not one of theirs!

Sounds close to a scam to me, but it could still be an official scamcould it not?

Then again

Oh, its too tricky to call!
This is unambiguously a scam. Do not respond to the email.

You do not require a 'permit' to receive a cheque, whatever the amount.
any one can hold up to lb5,000 cash on his party at any time. any more than that comes under the money launder act. (ie) if you step to buy a car (trade) and its lb6,000. and you want to earnings cash next the sales man should report you to near bank. so I suppose your edge would know if this department is cosha.
slight change - yesterdays post be 970 pound to get it deliver, then the antimoneylaudering those put it on hold at the last minute.

regard as about it - does customs& excise use hotmail, does the financial servoce authority, does anyone unless it help them be anonimous.

Question:
they sell this crap and they speak wanna stamp it out, how does that make any sense? a moment ago wondering

Answer:
Philip Morris, and the other tobacco companies, know that it will not take any money from their pockets if they enunciate they are trying to get relations to quit smoking. Saying that is in actual fact good publicity for them--they're virtuous guys.

No matter how lots people in truth quit, there are still millions who will not--and investigational smokers to replace quitters. No matter how plentiful cities ban smoking surrounded by public--people are going to smoke. They might face legitimate penalties (as do drug users), but if they want to smoke, they will.

Looks resembling it's another prohibition--this time with tobacco instead of booze. Well the first one didn't work--why does anyone focus this one will?
they tell the americans to quit smoking but if you dance to the third world, there are american ciggs everywhere.
It doesn't. They be litigated into doing all these trailer campaigns.

You know what else make no sense? States were given millions of dollars contained by the tobacco settlement. In Virginia, you know where the money go? To the tobacco farmers!
It's ridiculous, and they know it. In fact, one study showed that the ad Phillip Morris used that was targeted to teenagers if truth be told pushed kids to smoke since the teens in the ad were (for dearth of a better term) dorks. They know what they're doing. I'm an on again, off again smoker myself and I can see them for what they areA big business trying to variety big bucks.

Is Primerica A Gross Scam?

Question:
They ask you to pay them $200 to work for them, their assemblies and meeting look like a pentecostal freak preach. They claim belonging to Citigroup and show data of billions of dollars, yet their office are under furnished and look cheap.

What's going on ?

Answer:
Yes they are a scam, fortunately I with the sole purpose lost about 500 dollars which be my start up but its your basic pyramid scam where on earth you have to conscript to make anythingscam scam scam
Primerica is repeatedly called the "Amway of Financial Services."

A few ancestors at the top of the pyramid make plentifully of money and these people dangle that surrounded by front of you to get you excited.

It is more or smaller amount a "prey on your friends" multi-level marketing organization where on earth most (90%+) of the reps don't even make satisfactory money to live on.
You'll find their name posted adjectives over the internet with accurate and bad comments. Check out a turn out engine like dogpile.com and do the research:
as the FTC define it they are not a scam per the defination anyhow and they are technically not a pyramid scheem either. The $200 is for your "sale kit"... they do ahev affiliations with Citigroup. The problem near Primerica is int he offices themselfs their biggest buis. Is life span insurence.. a hybrid term insurence for that situation so you are looking at EXTREAMLY HIGH TURNOVER for one. What they do is bring on everyone who they can and hope that one out of 150 can do the job. If you are the helpful of person who can go anything to anybody, has no home, no social life and constent drive then it might be a right mix for you cuz it takes someone within who can go out and clear leads, stays posative, deal with rejection and doesnt mind working 60-80 hours a week, atleast contained by the beggining to make it work. The office are normally underfurinished cuz not a soul is ever in in attendance so they dont care...

but surrounded by answer to your question technically no its not a scam..alott of family say this cuz they dont take to mean the actual defination of what a scam is and by the letter they are not one nor are they similar to amway. they will always capture alott of negaitve attention because they are a sales company... and a complicated sales company at that.. they hire anyone train them next throw them out to the wolves who ever can repeatedly come back intact will take home a great living there!!

I currently work nearby and Primerica is not a scam. I too have salaried $199 and didn't understand it at first. So I come back to achieve more info. The $199 goes to the state to process your license papers and do a criminal background check on you. The state charge around $500-$700 to process them, so Primerica pays most of it for you. You see, when you invest $199, wouldn't you rob your license more seriously and actually do something beside it? If it was free, would you perceive the same still or purely disappear and forgot that you ever had a license to provide?

Primerica representatives are independent agents and the company doesn't enforce any quota or pressure on them to do anything. Agents set their own schedule and own complete control on what they want to do. The company does set out incentives and bonuses for agents that do work. As an independent agent, the company gives you the right to conscript people. Just close to in actual estate, you first work as an agent and then you train others. Sooner or then you are a broker with agents underneath you and you override them.

At Primerica, the more agents you have and the more production person created, you eventually become from self-employed (this is what you are at the beginning) to business owner (the RVP contract).

Anyway, my point is the Primerica opportunity is a business opportunity and so you need to put a touch investment of $199 to start it up. You don't have to verbs about any other costs such as paying your agents, paying for rent, buying department equipment, and so on (except for travel). I think its the best business opportunity out nearby because you are free to do what you want and if you want to make some money, you will work and the company rewards you for working.

Primerica does belong to Citigroup. You can find that out at http://www.citigroup.com and afterwards navigate through to Primerica's home page.

Check out what Ripoffreport.com has to voice about Primerica: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripo...

In a doctor's department which is the most reorganized file system - by chart number or alphabetically?

Question:

Answer:
Because chart numbers can be made unique it is better, however. you will conspicuously need a method for cross referencing.

If you hold a computer system that allows you to look up the chart number when the patient comes surrounded by then chart number is better.

However, you don't want to own the patient own to remember his/her chart number. When Joe Blow walks surrounded by and gives you his pet name, you will need to look up his chart number past you can find his file.
Ther are so abundant options within setting up a filing system...The V.A. uses the first notification of the last identify, followed by the last four digits of the veteran's service number, so a combination of both, allowing a scan to speedily identify a patient by ultimate name for user friendly probing, while helping to separate different people beside the same second name, but for take the edge off of finding charts manually, alphabetically is going to be preferable, as we as people don't customarily think contained by numerical modes .
Chart Number - That way you will never enjoy any duplication. With an alphabetical system - you will always run into duplicate name (John Smith, James Johnson, Jennifer Jones, etc.). A numerical system totally eliminates this type of confusion.
