Corporations Questions and Answers

Wal-Mart Return Policy Question...?

Question:
I can't find my receipt for some rugs that I bought at Wal-Mart two days ago and I want to return them? Do they still submission store credit or do you HAVE to have a getting?

Answer:
They'll let you return items (for cash) lacking a receipt in the order of 5 times. They ask for your driver's license and the system keeps track of your returns. Once you arrive at 5, you will need a getting for your return, as they will not accept the return beside no receipt at that point. Why don't you give the name them to inquire about this beforehand going?
They will give you store credit in need a reciept, just returned somethings short reciept yesterday.
I brought stuff back to them and they scan it and I got a repayment. The only problem is if the item is very soon on sale and the price is lower you will catch the lower price without the reception.
If you don't have the getting they will most likely furnish you a store credit...probably put the amount on a gift card. I would try again to find the bill just contained by case the rugs enjoy gone on sale since you bought them because if they own, they will only bestow you the amount that they currently ring up. And make sure the rugs are still within "new" condition. If they had tag on them or stickers, make sure that you embezzle those with you. Return policies differ from store to store but I reflect on that Wal-Mart probably has like policy everywhere. I'd definitely return them as soon as possible though purely in crust they haven't gone on sale and may be going on Dutch auction soon. Good luck and hope this helps!
p.s. merely thought of something else! make sure you pocket your driver's license or some other form of i.d.(might want to call them back going if you don't have a driver's license to see what forms of i.d. are acceptable) because one time I tried to return something and even have my receipt but they would not allow me to do this minus i.d. and I just didnt' own it with me at the time. They require the i.d. because they hang on to up with how tons times you return things. About a year and a half ago I have a miscarriage and had bought lots of child items before this happen and I returned them at two or three different times and the third time they told me that I had reach my limit on returning items in need a receipt! I don't know if this is something to be exact a yearly piece or what, but they must have thought that I have stolen them or something and they were trying to hang on to people from returning stolen merchandise. Sad for the ones of us that are honest and enjoy just lost our receipts!
Usually as long as you aren't only trying to get brass back, you can transport anything back short a receipt.

Hell, we used to thieve dead battery back to walmart and trade them surrounded by for new ones:

'I don't know - I took them out of the bag and they were already limp!!'
Return them, no receipt needed. Store credit, or dosh if under a positive $ amount but usually store credit. Never denied. Target, on the other hand have the crappiest return policy ever.
You'll be able to return them as long as you still enjoy the tags on them. You'll seize a gift card if it's over $10, and you'll also have need of to have your license next to you if it's over $10.
You can return items without a taking given

1) They still carry the item surrounded by the location you are returning it

2) You must have adjectives original casing including the UPC code that was on the merchandise

3) You must own a valid state issued ID or Driver's liscense and have not done more than 3 separate unreciepted return transactions surrounded by the past 45 days

4) If the store still refuse call 1-8OO-Wal-Mart...these policies are comapany all-embracing and stores may try to change them but are technically disallowed to deviate from them

And yes, it will be put on a merchandise credit which is valid at any Wal-Mart or Sam's Club in the US
No reciept will contribute you instore credit only.

If you draw from a nasty superintendent, and the items are dirty, missing tags, or look "used". Without reciept, they will dispatch you packing.

How abundant Starbucks stores are near within the world?

Question:
Please show a way to prove this. (ie, website, etc)
Thanks!

Answer:
As of Nov 2006, in attendance were 12440. This should include the stores which are inwardly other stores (like book stores), but may not include locations where they serve Starbucks coffee but are not owned by Starbucks (such as hotels and corporate offices). My department has one, and I own visited frequent hotels which sell it (even the baristas wear the Starbucks aprons), but I don't judge either count as a location.

From Wikipedia:
"According to the company reality sheet, as of November 2006, Starbucks had 7,102 company-operated outlets worldwide: 5,668 of them surrounded by the United States and 1,434 in other countries and U.S. territory. In addition, the company have 5,338 joint-venture and licensed outlets, 3,168 of them in the United States and 2,170 within other countries and U.S. territories. This brings the total locations (as of November, 2006) to 12,440 worldwide."
Too various.
There has to be at smallest a million. In one city alone there are thousands.
I don't regard as there's any way to know... They're building them so fast- they can't hang on to count! :)
That's a good ask. I have a starbucks inside my building where on earth I work and a group of us go to it practically every afternoon. It has really help us bond as a team. So I conjure this is happening within other starbucks around the world as well.

They be the global retailer of 2007 and rightfully so, near more than 12,000 global locations.
alot...
a professor told me that contained by one city theres like one on respectively block
atleast!
Sheesh, go to the Starbucks site and amazingly, you will find the answer!

Leaving vodafone?

Question:
I have a 18 month contract next to vodafone due to finish in 12 months but I enjoy had very bad experiance with them and yearning to move to orange, how do I be in motion about doing this and will I hold to pay rotten the remaining part of my contract?

Answer:
yep! that's the unbroken point of a contract.

however, you should keep asking for money subsidise from Vodaphone if they fail to hang on to to their agreement of the contract.
I know the feeling!! I be on a 12 month contract which I renewed last June to an 18 month one (unknowingly) and when I ring last week to terminate it turns out that they didn't update my contract until Jan this year...I'm now stuck for another 18months due to their **** up.
I asked in the region of cancelling rash and they said that I'd have to foot the remainder of the terms; going on for 400GBP and I couldn't leave. Pretty poor customer service and they wont adopt responsiblity either. Good luck!
If the shameful experience has be their fault I presume you have a pretty pious chance. I would ring them and ask to speak to the manager/supervisor and share them that you are thinking of moving etc and why etc...they may give you a better business and a new phone to stop you from moving.

If they broke their contract within providing a decent service you would enjoy grounds to push it.

I would keep hassle and hassling

honest luck

I am a self employed consultant, would it be to my dominance to incorporate?

Question:
At what income level does it become worth it? Combined income is around $120k

Answer:
My view would be yes- Incorporate or become an LLC. This spares you from losing your personal assets (home, etc.) in the event of litigation. Even if you are not consulting surrounded by a litigious field, it's worth investigating. The cost of Incorporating vary by state, I always hear Delaware was exceptionally cheap, but not sure if they require a physical presence in the state. Good luck!

Has anyone ever hear of the home base business YTB Travel and Cruises and does it be paid a profit or not.?

Question:
I have other wanted to work from home, and it make since to have a travel website, because almost everyone advice their flight and vaction deals on the computer. Has anyone hear of this is this a scam. The company is listed on the Better Business Bureau Website. I hold researched it, and have not found anything doomed to failure about the company. The company works near priceline.com, hotels.com and so on.

Answer:
I've had better luck near other things. I have found several lawful work at home sites so far, and I made $500+ in October, over $700 contained by November, $900+ in December, $700+ within January, and over $850 last month. They are free to go in.

Please click my screen term or avatar for more information and a link for proof of money.

And by the way--never join a work at home program that wishes you to pay up front. If they be making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.
I received some e-mail (spam) from them and a few others. Many charge a small "FEE" to host the pattern site so be care full, those fees can incorporate up. There are ALLOT of travel sites so you would really have to push yours and that's another nouns where small "FEES" put in up. There are services that will direct surfers to your site. Remember that just because a company is programmed with the BBB make it reputable. If someone complains to the BBB they spent money and didn't make any income that's not YTB's responsibility. YTB only have to say you didn't try and follow instructions, next the complaint will be dismissed. Also allot of these home travel business' are MLM's, you make money selling sites to other those not being a travel agent. Go to SCAM.COM, YTB is mentioned relatively often. SCAM.COM suggest going to a travel agent and verbalize to them about YTB and any other net agencies who may be soliciting you.
I am familiar beside YTB. They are a multi-level marketing company and they are what is called a "card mill" surrounded by the industry. They sell you "travel agent credentials" and a replicated website where on earth you can earn 60% commission on travel booked from your site. They lure is that you can receive travel agent discounts on your own travel, such as fam trips. The truth is that you are not really a travel agent, which requires much more than the $500 up-front and $50 a month that YTB is asking. I can tell you from experience that you will not receive much money from selling travel on your site. The 60% commission is based on what the company receive and that is unanimously a very small amount, for example, you would do resourcefully to make a couple of dollars from someone booking a flight on your site. Group travel and Cruises settle a little better. The money is made on the recruit side and so you'll find yourself promoting the business as your main source of income. Travel is a wonderful industry and in attendance are many other card mills that you should look into for comparison, should you want to invest your time and money, but be warned that the industry does not favor the card mill operation and the FTC is looking closely at these operations. You will still find lots deals for your personal travel, such as 10% bad hotel stays, but the industry is getting wise to these operation and fewer opportunity exist today than just a few years ago. So, if it's personal travel you want, after go ahead. You can write of piece of your travel expense as business. If you like the unharmed mlm concept, it's not a bad channel to go, but I discern there are better opportunity out there. If you want to flog travel to other people, after you should persue a legitimate route to attain your IATAN credentials and not rely on YTB. If you choose to join YTB, later my advice is to plug via search marketing. I received an average of 90 inquiries a time while promoting travel for GTTrends. You can also G00GLE "home-based travel agents" or visit sites close to WorldVentures or GTI or Global Travel Trends to find alternatives to YTB. You'll find the prices vary from one to another. Just be aware that the solitary way you are going to do all right is "sign up" as many nation as you can and hope that they do the same. Good Luck on your outcome.

Who's the phenomenon aft taking a cool signature and brand similar to Cingular and shifting it BACK to AT&T ?? UGH!?

Question:
You have to wonder in the order of these corporate geniuses... why on floor would anyone send a moderately successful, growing, progressive and somewhat cool sounding brand pet name like Cingular BACKWARD to a rust belt describe like AT&T - one specifically practically synonymous with incompetence, monopoly, and corruption newly a decade ago. A name that defined LOUSY customer service and arrogance. A company who's wireless see was so poor that a Wal-Mart walkie talkie provided better gamut and fewer dropped call - and most anyone born before 1990 still remembers that! I am sure I am not alone but when I hear the AT&T cross on anything I RUN. Legacy brands make sense when they start out a favorable feeling next to consumers... Windex, Jell-o, Tide, etc. But companies who have ripped customers rotten in days gone by or have provided horrible service - I lately don't get why the decline to kill the brand. US Airways is another example - it stunk within the 80s it still stinks now but it continues to grow.

Answer:
American Telephone & Telegraph have been around a long time. I expect it's wise to drop the Cingular describe (sounds too much like the asthma medication!) and turn with an ancient standard.

On a personal note, I regard All phone companies will be eventually taken over by T-Mobile! (they already have a monopoly on the phone service within Europe!)
its called profits
Former SBC, presently AT&T CEO/Chairman Edward Whitacre initiated the re-branding efforts within November, 2005, which is long before they even attempted to merging next to BellSouth.

The way I see, it's business as usual. When a company take over another company, they choose to retain the brand that is the most apparent among consumers and unify their products around that brand.
What rock own you been living underneath? AT&T bought Cingular - and they have not done away next to the brand name.

You involve to brush up on your corporate acquisitions communication before you start asking stupid question like this.
I agree near you. They should keep the Cingular signature for cell phones and use the AT&T brand in the business and home market. It comes down to having adjectives of the product names underneath one umbrella. There hasn't been plenty time for people to distance themselves from the subpar perfomance of AT&T celluar, it be very unpromising. Below I have programmed an article where they will adaptation the name.

Has anyone ever dropped out of the corporate world and be better sour?

Question:
Ok for more details, did you ever work for a corporation, maybe doing ably, maybe not so resourcefully, and just drop out to approaching start your own business, travel, goof off, slack, do heroine, work as a waiter, a cook, verbs houses, anything so different from what you were doing? Did it work out devout for you financially or no? Did it work out for you mentally or no? Tell me some stories, any and all are appreciated!

Answer:
Meet Steady Eddie.

The corporate non-risk taker rises nifty on the freshness of youth; an open mind, a pleasant demeanour and obedient looks will accelerate this rise.

His superiors are pleased to promote him since it reflect well on them.

The interviewee reaches a platform of responsibility, not something to be treated delicately.

After all he is presently a manager, albeit a junior one.

His take-home pay rises in accordance near status, not ability, and he reach board level.

It is presently time to appoint a joint or deputy managing director. Our man is considered to be a well brought-up company man, but he is a bit dull. He doesn’t do anything for the image of the company.

There’s a extraordinarily good childlike man in his department earn a third of his salary, who younger member of staff respond to.

Our man at forty is moved sideways, and at forty-seven he is out.

He didn’t reach the top of the stepladder; he has fall and there is no climbing subsidise.

He’s finished, yet he have done nothing wrong.

That is the problem.
He’s Done Nothing Wrong.

Let’s Look At Reckless Erica.

As a kid she doesn’t have the charm of the previous guise.

Not the corporate type.

She’s irritating but enthusiastic and popping with daft thinking.

So they keep her on.

Most of her philosophy are regarded as not viable, too adventurous or plain silly. But somewhere in the company someone picks up one of her wilder thoughts and promotes it. It get noticed because it is different and fresh.

For the subsequent three years she produces a series of unusable ideas. She become increasingly irritating and is fired.

Now the odd item is that it is not as difficult for her to get a alien job as she thought, because several people remember that a bit good hypothesis she produced three years ago. They prefer to gloss over the failure.

Her name on the payroll add a bit of glamour to her new company.

But impossible to tell apart process happens again. Once more she is fired, but in a minute there are two pieces of work that trade name her memorable.

She’s not only just a one-off.

Her whole duration is lived like this, a series of ups and downs, more downs than ups.

But when she reach the age of forty she has a track transcription.

She has become a respected being.

Still reckless Erica, but more surrounded by demand than ever because she slipshod to conform.

Which would you rather be ?
I come up with the secret is to live underneath your means. Don't have need of the flashiest car, the most up-to-date accessory. People obtain hooked by material possessions and things they can't afford and later they are stuck in miserable job they hate. If you didn't owe anyone any money, if you could afford your rent even working a minimum wage duty, well, later suddenly your world opens up, doesn't it?
I be a regional supervisor for a state agency. I supervised employees within 17 counties and had a tremendously bright future and lots of responsibility. I be in the Human Services Division, a tremendous amount of stress. I become burnt out, become ill due to stress and a short time ago not taking anytime off. I finally be ready to "crack" and my husband and I granted if I could babysit a few kids in our home I could quit. I own been doing this for 18 months and it's deeply hard but so different. I brand 1/4 of what I did and I have to matter with kids adjectives day but I am so much in good health, more relaxed in the evenings and can sleep. I don't lay awake worrying nearly what tomorrow holds. I have a duration again. I used to do nothing but come home and drop. I own agreed to do contract work for the state to train people one hours of darkness a week for nine weeks at a time. They are paying great and it gives me a randomness to keep up on my skills. No one would hold ever guessed I would have gone the position I was within. I went far briskly because I lived that job. I don't regret departing for a moment. I think it be the best thing for me, my ethnic group and my marriage. It's be tough at times adjusting to $ and other peoples kids but so much better than the alternative.
I use to work for Verizon Data Services and within 2003 they offered most employees $20,000 to quit, plus two weeks pay packet for every year they'd worked and medical and dental for the period they be paid. Many of my friends took the opportunity to start their own business and a few are very soon making more than they did at Verizon. One started the arcade he'd been dreaming just about since he was a kid, but get bored after a few months and is now trying to take rehired. One went to a not for profit company and have been working for 1/3 the foot she was getting, but immediately is looking for a new illustrious paying job. One used the money to swot up about computer payment and is now making big dollars working for a big computer company. All speak they are happy that they took the money and vanished.

How can one come to know that a company might make a contribution a bonus by reading the financial figures/data?

Question:

Answer:
Read the financial on the company just as you would if you be to invest in them. Look at debt/equity ratio; lattice assets; dividend yields and the EPS multiple. These may indicate profit and from their you can speculate what they may do next to that money, but that is it. Unfortunately here is no specific statement citing such intentions. I believe, I'm not quite sure going on for this though, that they sum up their fiscal performance estimates every November and next to that estimate bonuses are already considered. They sometimes disperse them as soon as the holidays or in spring.
It is outstandingly unlikely that a company will have an entry stating bonuses if contained by fact they payment them. This item is probably buried in next to some expense item in it's financial statements.
