Well as soon as i hear the chime it means the auto dialer have called someone, and wishes to speak to a rep. well i am the receptionist and attain all of the call first. Well, usually when people hail as back its to screech and scream at me. I be wondering if they report the company and they have my moniker (first, not last name) if i could win in trouble surrounded by any way. In no passageway is this my fault but i do go and get the blame from the people.

As a PM, I’ve never used the technique beside the circles and the branches to other circles. I could see the application of it when organizing a WBS. Personally, I’m a post-it minute freak. I’ll often receive a long 10 to 20 foot roll of paper, dangle it on the wall, and create the WBS with the troop on post-it notes. I guess one could argue it’s alike as a mind-map, as we start with giant level work elements and break it into smaller pieces. I prefer the post-it action as you can easily hold team member write work elements or brainstormed items and you can easily move them around as you discuss as a troop.
I’m guessing the mind-map has better application to business type problems that require some brainstorming, as Joe have said. I’d be curious in audible range the name of the program they used on an over-head; manifestly good for remote team.
So now I ask you, are you trying to alleviate a bit bit of guilt for not using that technique? ;-)
