Corporations Questions and Answers

How do I obtain started taking online surveys to earn extra money?

Question:

Answer:
Good question, Granny, and I in fact have the answer for you. Go to www.surveypolice.com where on earth you will find a list of survey organization who will, in certainty, pay you to thieve surveys.

Now...pay attention: There are also a great deal of "phony-baloney" sites who seem to extend compensation but who are really trying to get you to buy something contained by exchange for the promised reward. And there are "in-between" sites who run surveys and also pepper you near tricky attempts to get you to sign up beside various deal. I call these "offer" sites. Get salaried for signing up for an "offer." They are dressed up as surveys -but they aren't, really. And you can, surrounded by fact, come out on the better side of those transactions. I hold, and I have the deposit contained by my paypal account to prove it.

So here is a register of what I call "survey sites," designation real surveys that gather together opinion background to help companies establish how to package products or develop some class of public sentiment on the war surrounded by Iraq, global warm, etc. But before I hand over you the list, I want to donate you some advice:

First, set up a separate email sketch (yahoo is a good place) to button all the survey invitations and yawning accumulation of cast-offs you'll also receive. Its easier to manage this surrounded by a separate email account. ALSO, your "user-id" on most adjectives survey sites is your email address, another good rationale to have one specially for this. Don't argue -just trust me on this.

NEXT, feel up a standard password that you will use to get contained by to every survey site. Make it different from your yahoo password or any other password. But use the new password for EVERY site. Much easier afterwards keeping a list of different passwords, one for respectively site.

NOW, be prepared to accept cookies on your PC. These are what allow you to closure right into a survey site and start to work, instead of going through security gate-keepers every time. I own found NO problem on my PC. Legitimate sites have no interest surrounded by doing harm to their own panel member.

FINALLY, be prepared to enter the same notes about your undeveloped profile over and over again: your age, sex, number of children ...yadda yadda. Also your actual physical address (where they send payments). Also, complete adjectives the profile surveys, which can be extensive in some cases. They stipulation this to make appropriate match between panelists and survey material.

OK, here's a "safe" detail of bona-fide sites:

NFO
Opinion Outpost
Harris Poll Online
Survey Spot
American Consumer Opinion
Your 2 Cents
NPD Online
Greenfield

These'll get you started. You can relationship into them from the surveycop website above. There are many others planned on that site -and, despite what it says -not adjectives of them are the real McCoy. The one's I've given you ARE.

Be aware, Granny, that if and when you click links within survey cop to go to a site, the surveycop empire MIGHT be getting credit for it in crust you sign up. There's a lot of money mortal made on the net by such referral.

Now let me alert you about a site that should, within my opinion, be regard with suspicion: wwwthesurveypro.com. At first partial view, it looks like they're really trying to play party and help you out near a free public service. Go ahead -take a looksee. But this site -and many oodles others that style themselves in duplicate way - are really "referral" sites, looking to label a few bucks by pipelining people to other sites. Hover your mouse over a relationship on the left of the page (don't click) and you'll see, contained by the lower left of your browser, where on earth clicking will take you. At the come to an end of the link is an "=" sign followed by some code. THAT's what sets up a referral spiff for the referring site. Costs you nought -but it is not really as presented to you, either. There's no poison here that I know of -just be aware that here and at several other sites like it, this is what's going on.

Last word: "payment" may be surrounded by several forms, including not at all. Some surveys will rate real money; others tolerate you accumulate points, sort of close to green stamps; others give you an entry into a sweepstakes. You'll numeral it out over time.

So there you step, and if you don't mind please repost to share your experience. Good luck!

HELP! Accounting Question ?

Question:
When faced near lawsuits, many companies certificate a loss and therefore credit a liability or reserve depiction for any future losses that may result. For instance, surrounded by the famous WORLDCOM crust, Citibank, the world's largest financial services firm, announced that it was setting up reserves or liability of $5.6 billion in nouns with upcoming lawsuits related to its relationship with WorldCom. Yes, these are "loss contingencies".

The two criteria are:

If you don't collect these two criteria, you're not allowed to book the liability. You may not be exact surrounded by the dollar amount, but you're allowed to book the liability anyway based on an estimate. The true amount depends on adjectives events taking place, within this case a ruling.

Is geothermal drive as popular as solar/ wind/ river? I don't hear that much in the order of it, but why?

Question:

Answer:
These are the main sources of power:

Hydroelectric
Coal
Nuclear

These are the wannabes:

Wind turbine
Solar panel
Water wheel
Methane recapture

The pretext why you don't hear about them that habitually is because you pretty much have to be a hippy to know what to do near them. They're costly, inefficient, and mostly have religious followings.

If they be good for business, power companies would be busting respectively other up trying to build the best system.

They're not.

What do the power companies prefer for cheap production and efficiency? Hydroelectric, coal, nuclear.

That's what lights up our cities.

The others can lone light up sea cabins.
Geothermal is big stuff within Iceland.
Geothermal is the best way to bake and/or cool a building. More incentive should be given to increase the usage of this means of space conditioning.
The cost of installation is the rationale you don't hear much about it so far. With the rising cost of fossil fuels etc. you may start audible range more and more about it soon.
Because it's lone available in definite parts of the country.

What are some arguments that SUPPORT Walmart?

Question:
I have to debate someone and anything would serve like I don`t know the history of people trying to break up Walmart

Answer:
All you own to know is that almost all WalMart critics are any lying about their information or singling out WalMart for personal or ardent reasons.

Some relatives criticize them for poor employee benefits. Compare near K-Mart and ask them why K-Mart gets a elapse for offering WORSE benefits.

Some people criticize them for not unionizing. Again, compare to McDonalds, Starbucks, or any other huge tie up of minimum wage employers and ask why they procure a pass for have worse employee benefits?

Some society criticize them for putting "mom-n-pop" stores out of business. Ask them why small towns grow and employment improves and why these stats are overlooked within favor of the sad stories that might even be exadurated?

You can almost win in recent times by asking for proof. All of the things I've mentioned are propaganda points, not facts. Ask for proof and see how quickly the arguments turn away?

If WalMart was such an evil company, you'd see the destruction surrounded by it's wake. (Where is it?)
Low prices are upright for people contained by lower income brackets.
Low prices.

If people didnt similar to working there after they should quit. Its that simple.
Walmart... making Hillbilly affordable
There is a valid case for the relationship between lower prices and the financial boost the buying power brings the lower and middle class. The vast choices surrounded by the store do add to a better financial well human being. Ask any college student who doesn't have closely to spend and Wal Mart is a good choice. It's far from faultless, but does serve a common correct.

Why do electric companies ignite conservation?

Question:

Answer:
Because liberal loud mouths and whiners have tricked companies into thinking that if they don't behave properly and support cause such as global warm, they'll find some kind of heartfelt blackmail to put them out of business.

Liberals have also bullied the citizens into thinking that it's okay to articulate things you don't really mean as long as you be paid a show of supporting their silly causes.

Honest race like me tend to piss these children sour for doing nothing more than recitation the truth. Nature knows how to hold care of itself. It have survived ice ages and worldwide temps higher than this. Somehow the grill dissipated and we cooled down again, and we did it without planting trees and lacking intimidating SUV drivers.

Liberals need to attain a life and stop human being such cry babies.
it makes them look apposite
goooood question...
If we cram to conserve then within will be fewer outages. Energy companies are have a hard time keeping up beside demand because of environmental concerns.

Coal remains the biggest member of creating electricity and creates a lot of pollution. Wind farm are used more but there are still concerns resembling space, bird migration, useful arrive and noise pollution.

It does get them look better to seem concerned or kind, but all surrounded by all they really do concern on some level.
electric companies purchase nearby electricity in prepaid amount for the year. kinda similar to a person on a prepay phone card. it is purchased at a discount rate and they singular buy what they think will be used, if they shift over that amount then the power plants charge them alot, similar to a cell phones roamig fee, afterwards they loose money.
it makes them look close to they care, which they dont. you cant payment, its cut off. some of the bigger ones are already making adequate money, so they dont care if your a customer or not. i help a friend pay a bill, the with the sole purpose way i could find out how much she owed be to put my name on her reason, which i did, and paid it. a year after that i was sent a bill by one and the same company for her debt from later use. i couldnt discharge it so they cut me off. its adjectives a front.
The more people that use electricity, the harder the powerplants generator work.
The more water the generator have to use to hang on to up with the constraint.
If too many ancestors are useing electricity, the less power is mortal supplied.
Hence ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,... conservation.

Anybody out near receided their checks from the h&r block settlement all the same?

Why do so masses companys outsource cusomer service?

Question:
I recently call a tech support line & be put through to someone I couldn't understand. When I asked to speak to someone else the party on the other end didn't even speak english. WTF... Any1 own a good answer to why any companys would even concider outsourcing tech support?

Answer:
Customer service is outsourced by companies who believe that it is smaller quantity costly to provide service this way. A further, but smaller quantity common cause, if that by staging customer service around the globe it is possible to hold 24 hour service.

They consider this simply because it is a way to cut costs. Why do they stipulation to cut costs? Because the American consumer demands everything cheaper and the company needs to find ways to revolutionize profitability.

Who benefits from a $13 refrigerator?
The main common sense is to save costs...it costs profusely less to use an outsourced workforce especially if they are base in a country beside lower standards of living. This way, the employer does not own to pay payroll taxes, condition insurance. Also, the workers in the other country charge smaller amount per hour (no minimum wage laws). The secondary pretext that a company will use is because it enables customer support to become "24/7". They might bring into play a local tech support team during our business hours, after switch over to a foreign team after hours.
Unfortunately, sometimes in your favour costs comes at a cost. There was one tale where a foreign outsource group bribed the company for not renewing their business. "If you don't renew our business, we will market your client database (social security numbers) to identity thieves"...and they did. It is more difficult to take away with this in the U.S. If your investment banker (401K custodian) outsources their customer support, be unbelievably wary if they outsourced it to another country.
I agree near the other poster...a lot of desperate things happen when we as Americans start to constraint lower prices. By demanding lower prices, we start to lose jobs and point, and we even contibute to global warm (if you believe it exists).

McDonald’s Growth in the United States

McDonald’s growth contained by the United States soon became a series of milestones contained by sales, numbers of restaurants, numbers of hamburgers served, and surrounded by establishing standards of quality, service, cleanliness and meaning (QSC&V) previously unknown in the growing express food restaurant industry. By 1963, we were selling one million hamburgers a hours of daylight, and Ray Kroc served hamburger number one billion to Art Linkletter on Linkletter’s national television show.
The first national jamboree of McDonald’s franchise owners was held contained by Hollywood, Florida in 1965, celebrate the chain’s 10th anniversary with the issue, “The Sky’s the Limit.” It was also contained by 1965 that McDonald’s became a public company, selling its shares over the counter for $22.50 respectively – a price that sky-rocketed to $49 within a few weeks.

Ray Kroc’s years in need a salary have paid rotten – the initial stock he sold was worth $3 million and the rest of his holdings be now worth $32 million. Even June Marino, a long-time associate who have been Kroc’s secretary final in the Multimixer days, shared contained by the rewards –selling $300,000 worth of stock and holding an additional $5 million.
One year latter, on July 5, 1966, McDonald’s was programmed on the New York Stock Exchange, quite an accomplishment after for a chain of hamburger restaurants. In 1967, the price of a McDonald’s hamburger rose from 15 to 18 cents – the first increase since the McDonald brothers introduced the 15-cent price two decades previously. And in the following year, restaurant number 1,000 open in Des Plaines, Illinois, not far from Kroc’s imaginative restaurant.
By 1970, McDonald’s reported $587 million in sale from almost 1,600 restaurants in adjectives 50 states of the U.S. and four other countries. In the same year, a restaurant within Bloomington, Minnesota became the first to manage $1 million in annual sale and another in Waikiki, Hawaii be the first to serve breakfast. The following year, the first McDonald’s Playland opened within Chula Vista, California.
McDonald’s broke the billion dollar sales dot in 1972 and the stock split for the fifth time, making 100 shares of the inventive 1965 stock equal to 1,836 shares.
In 1975, the first drive-thru operation was established surrounded by Sierra Vista, Arizona – an innovation that today accounts for about partially of all McDonald’s restaurant sale in the U.S. and Canada. The company enjoy sales of $2.5 billion that year, next to 3,076 restaurants in 20 countries. The following year, hamburger number 20 billion be sold.
In 1977, Ray Kroc was name Senior Chairman of McDonald’s, and Fred Turner, who was the grill man at Kroc’s first restaurant, be named Chairman of the Board. That year, more than 1,000 restaurants exceeded $1 million surrounded by sales, and 11 topped $2 million.
By our silver anniversary surrounded by 1980, the 6,263 restaurants in 27 countries ring up sales of $6.2 billion and passed the 35 billion hamburger milestone. On January 14, 1984, Ray Kroc died – have accomplished his dreams for McDonald’s...and after some. That same year, his “little company” broke the $10 billion sales boundary marker, served its 50 billionth hamburger, and operated 8,300 restaurants surrounded by 36 countries. A new McDonald’s restaurant open somewhere in the world every 17 hours, and the average restaurant enjoy an annual sales volume of $1,264,000.
By 1990, our sale had grown to $18.7 billion, ratification the milestone of 80 billion hamburgers sold. McDonald’s 11,800 restaurants were surrounded by 54 countries. And top leadership changed for only just the third time in our history within 1990 – with Fred Turner becoming senior chairman and ratification the baton to Mike Quinlan, who have begun working for McDonald’s surrounded by 1963 as a part-time post clerk. In 1999, Jack M. Greenberg took over the top job, which be passed to Jim Cantalupo, former Vice Chairman and President, when Greenberg retired in December of 2002.

As nouns to our consistent performance over the years, McDonald’s be the only company within the Standard & Poor’s 500 to have publicly reported 100 consecutive station of year-to-year combined increases in revenues, income, and profits per share since 1965. Not surprisingly, Better Investing magazine ranked McDonald’s as the most popular and widely held adjectives stock by individuals and investment clubs. And Life magazine names Kroc as one of the 100 Most Important Americans of the 20th Century.
Ray Kroc’s dreams for McDonald’s growth throughout the United States have been more than content...but that’s only the commencing of the story. McDonald’s took the world by storm as well.

International Expansion

While McDonald’s be astounding the experts with the nippy growth of its hamburger chain surrounded by the United States, our company had another big surprise brewing – international expansion.
We open our first restaurant outside the U.S. in Canada on June 1, 1967 surrounded by Richmond B.C., and the race be on. Canada today has more than 1,300 restaurants.
After a few false starts within the Caribbean and the Netherlands – where we tried a more hands-off style and attempted to compromise our menu for local taste – we realized that what have worked so well surrounded by the U.S. could travel virtually anywhere. A strong local partner, fully trained and totally involved in the business...the traditional McDonald’s menu...and our detailed operating procedures for QSC&V be the formula for success.
One of the most dramatic examples come in Japan, where on earth Den Fujita, who owned an import company specializing within handbags, shoes, and apparel, became McDonald’s pooled venture partner contained by 1971. Fujita opened his first restaurant on July 20, 1971 within a tiny 500-square-foot restaurant in a prime location within Tokyo’s Ginza shopping district – a site that only allowed 39 hours for construction that typically took three months. On its first day, the restaurant ring up $3,000 in sale, and Fujita has never looked subsidise. At the end of 1993, McDonald’s be Japan’s most successful restaurant chain, beside some 1,400 restaurants – and nearly double the annual sales of the subsequent competitor.
We also opened our first restaurants within Germany and Australia in 1971. Today, Germany have more than 1,200 restaurants and Australia has some 700 McDonald’s locations. And after entering France and England within the early 1970s, McDonald’s today runs some 980 restaurants within France and more than 1,200 restaurants in the United Kingdom.

These six countries – Canada, Japan, Germany, Australia, France and England – are set as McDonald’s “Big Six” because combined, they provide about 80 percent of international operating income. McDonald’s international operation are playing an increasingly important role surrounded by our company’s results. In 1995, for example, 7,030 restaurants in 89 countries produced sale of $14 billion.
Some of McDonald’s international openings enjoy been so dramatic that they hold become headline news within the media around the world. On January 31, 1990, for example, more than 30,000 culture lined up on a cold winter year in Moscow to stop by the new, 23,680-square foot McDonald’s – the most folks ever served by a single restaurant to that date. That restaurant opening culminated years of dialogue which had begin during the Montreal Olympics in 1976 and represented the largest reciprocated venture agreement between the Soviet Union and a food company.
The Russian crew be soon serving between 40,000 and 50,000 customers each morning – a total of 15 million people contained by its first full year. To meet the unrelenting constraint, we built a $45 million food processing facility near Moscow, one of the most modern food processing services in Europe.
McDonald’s space in Beijing, China, on April 23, 1992 shattered the Moscow initial day copy, attracting some 40,000 Chinese customers to the 28,000-square-foot restaurant, which had 29 lolly register stations to handle the flow. Located surrounded by the city’s busiest shopping district, the restaurant has some 800,000 pedestrians ratification by daily. The reciprocated venture partnership between McDonald’s and the General Corporation of Beijing Agriculture, Industry, and Commerce have been working for five years to establish the introduce yourself of local farmers, manufacturers, and other suppliers to support the restaurant.
Not to be outdone, two foreign restaurants opened surrounded by Poland in 1992 and respectively surpassed the Moscow and Beijing records for first performance day transactions, next to the Warsaw restaurant amassing 13,304 transactions in June 1992, a story which was broken six months next in Katowice, 200 miles south of Warsaw contained by Poland’s coal country.
Other former Iron Curtain countries where McDonald’s have proven tremendously popular include the Czech Republic, East Germany, Hungary, and Slovenia.
We also broke ground in another investigational part of the world when we enter the Middle East with a unmarked restaurant, which opened within Tel Aviv, Israel in October of 1993. New restaurants be added in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Egypt, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, reflecting our extensive and long-term commitment to the region.

Out of respect for local cultures, McDonald’s restaurants contained by Arab countries maintain “Halal” menus, which signify compliance near Islamic laws for food preparation, especially beef. In postscript, restaurants in Saudi Arabia do not display statues or posters of Ronald McDonald, since the Islamic father prohibits the display of “idols.” And the first kosher McDonald’s open in impulsive 1995 in a suburb of Jerusalem. It does not serve dairy products, and is closed on Saturdays, the Jewish Sabbath.
The growth of McDonald’s to date – domestically and internationally – have proven the validity of the first thought through Ray Kroc’s mind when he initially saw McDonald’s contained by operation: “This will go anyplace.”

How does the owner return with the income out of the corporation?

Question:
is being an member of staff the only bearing? Ex: I have a property that generate 50,000 in my corporations entitle, how do i get the money to me?

Answer:
Depends on what class of corporation. There are 2 types C & S. In a C-Corp you can pay yourself a dividend or a gross. If you are a S-Corp you have to filch a reasonable pay and the remaining money you can take as a distribution (not dividend). Word of caution- S-Corp you capture taxed for the company's income even if you do not transport the money out. Talk to a tax advisor.
Pay dividends. Say you hold 50% ownership in a company, you would receive partly of all the dividends salaried. If you are sole owner, you receive 100%. Any corporation can pay a dividend, but their may be restrictions: if you are lower than legal responsibility to pay creditors, they would draw from any profits out of the company before the owner.
The proper channel to show a payout in your corporate books is DRAWS, and that is to say an expense to the company. The owners pay the taxes contained by their individual tax returns base on the income of the company (called a pass through). Get you CPA to explain it better than that.
