I've created my corporation in the state of California. I've also purchased a franchise lower than this corporation. The name of my corporation is completely different from the franchise signature and I'd like to use the franchise first name as well. Mostly within cases where my customers would write checks to me, they'd simply cause it out to the franchise name. My customers wouldnt even know that a corporation exist. I come up with that I should file a Fictitious Business Name form beside the county I do business in, but I am not sure.
Also, as a side cross-examine, what if someone else is already using the name I want already surrounded by the county? There is more than one franchise in my county. Will I know how to use that same name?
