I used to be international students from Indonesia as okay in Melbourne. I will try to answer your question abt Australian Education system :)
There are only 39 university in Australia and they are tightly regulated, and so the quality and classification of their graduates are equal from somewhere university you are studying from.
I reckon it comes back to you immediately.
1. Which area do you presume you are interested in? Accounting (like bookkeeping or auditing), Finance (mix of economics and accounting, I don`t know work in stock exchange or nouns advisor), Management (Similar with human resources, a touch of psychology and organisational structures) or Economics (lots of theories)?
2. What available job do you want to work in the adjectives? Accounting will still be in constraint for years ahead, the others are ups and downs.
The most important things is also your grades when graduate. No matter how illustrious the uni is, if your grade is below average, after you'll still got problem within getting your first job. Remember, alot of ppl get good work or paycheck in the nouns that are not related to their education perspective as well.
Now... RMIT is located within Melbourne, Australia and as a Melbournians, this is what I can tell u abt Melbourne:
1. First of adjectives... some people do not close to the weather in Melbourne (you can own 4 seasons surrounded by one day). However, if you read the first article from The Age newspaper, you will find out that the weather is still more preferable than the other cities. Sure you can own 42C day resembling last month, but almost directly you'll get a much cooler weather pretty soon afterwards. It is thoroughly rarely that you get 2 or 3 consecutive days of hot weathers (unlike Sydney, Brisbane or Perth).
2. Melbourne is a city of diversity. If you are a newcomer, and you do not look 'Anglo-Saxon', you do not consistency like an 'alien', since you can find almost every see in the world walking contained by the city. They are both immigrants and overseas students.
3. THE FOOD!! Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Thai, All-you-can-eat, African, Lebanese, Mexican, Sea Food... anything else? All available and lots of them surrounded by a very-very-very affordable price

7. Cost of Living... I'll say it's second most expensive city after Sydney. Altho I own to say that some cities within Queensland can be more expensive to live.
8. Tourist attraction. This is the area that I contemplate Sydney is better than Melbourne, since it has most of it's attraction in its suburbs. Most Melbourne attraction are pretty much out of Melbourne, such as the gold mines contained by the cities of Bendigo and Ballarat, The Great Ocean Road, Lakes Entrance, Grampians, skiing in Mt. Buller etc.

Under FLSA, you need to be remunerated for time and 1/2 for any hours over 40, end of discussion. Only a salesperson who is rewarded commission is exempt from OT laws, not a hourly member of staff. Since you are also being salaried a commission, this is to be added to your regular rate to calculate the 1/2 time for hours over 40.
For example: your hourly rate is $10. Your earn $100. commission. You work 50 hours. Your straight time repay for the 50 hours is 10 X 50 = 500 + 100 = 600. Your hourly rate is now $12 an hour (600 / 50 = 12) 1/2 of 12 = 6. This is your partially time rate. 6 X 10 (ot hours) = 60. You should be paid $660 within this senario.
You should check with Florida statute. I work in CA and beside hourly wages, I get overtime via our labor canon. Even if you get commission, you may still qualify, but you requirement to check with a legal representative.
As long as you did not sign any kind of agreement you qualify underneath the labor laws. contact an employment attorney if you want to money a commission and not do the research yourself.
Ok first you need to check your member of staff handbook to see what it say about overtime. Then check your state's labor law on the requirements for overtime pay. Make sure that if the travel guide states differently than what your boss stated, you have the manual right there next to you. Also you might want to have a copy of the labor law and the name of a biddable attorney that handles labor disputes.
