Question:
I frequently stay at hilton hotels and am always impressed by thier sheets and duvet covers. They are SO comfortable!! Do you know what company they lay down from? I would like to proclaim an oodle of sheets from there and I don`t know a few duvet covers. I've checked for tags when I've stayed here, but it appears there aren't any.

Answers:
Hilton Hotels and other resorts typically use a seperate contract purchasing group.. I'm sure you can find these near a Yahoo search. The purchasing group typically does adjectives sourcing for the resort/hotels.

A little research show that Hilton owns there own, but seperate, procurement group. The group is head by Paul Brimmer. They use "Purchase Pro" e-commerce. Purchase Pro typically uses a group called Interiors Purchasing Group for bedding. IPG is a portion of WATG. Website is watg.com.

I would try contacting and asking the public relations group at the phone number listed on their website.
There are no tag because they get factory kids to formulate them. Slave labour. Third world country type of workers.

How much do you presume is plenty to start up a business? ? ?

Question:
Including start up costs and running costs

Answers:
I would strongly recommend that you talk to a business counselor beforehand you do anything especially spend money. If you intend to establish the business in the USA and you are living in that, I'd call the local organization of SCORE (go to http://www.score.org and input your zipcode to find the chapter nearest you), the suggestion is FREE.

The counselor at SCORE will most likely recommend you to write a business plan which is very moral advice because it will force you to verbs out all of the start up details and the costs of starting your precise business and force you to also understand adjectives of the aspects of this business including the customers you'll concentrate on (your market ) and how you'll walk after them.

Depending on the business you want to start up, they'll be certain startup costs resembling, registration, insurance, prepaid rent, consulting fees and the like that may apply to almost any nature of business. However, if you are going to start a restaurant, for example, you might need kitchen equipment, furniture, cutlery and dishes, table cloths and linens and plentifully of other stuff that you have to invest surrounded by even before you stretch out your doors.

Some other types of business you can run from your home and don't even need to verbs about renting/leasing space.

So to answer your grill, it is hard to grant a figure and you'll stipulation to make a business plan and do the financial analysis to come up next to the numbers.

Whatever the final number is, if you are going for a loan, make sure that you hold good persoanal credit, your gain should be better than 675 and also make sure that you are prepared to invest 25% - 30% of doesn`t matter what you need surrounded by total.

Try this web site for some information:
http://www.ychange.com/small-business-co...
and read some of the articles especially the ones in the order of a business plan and starting a business.

Good Luck
Too vague a put somebody through the mill.

What KIND of business.

A typical fast-food or cafe franchise is about $120,000 to $250,000 bad the bat.
Thats impossible to say lacking knowing the type of business.

Do you need premises, equipment, staff, stock?

If you inevitability non of the above, then I don`t know lb5K, but with premises, stock etc it could be lb50K or lb500K depending.

To start a shoe shop contained by the UK, employing 2 member of staffm legal costs, business rates and stock, I would interpret you would need around lb80,000 - lb120,000 depending on the size and location etc.
idk want to hold sex? lol
It really depends on the type of business you will run

A tanning salon with 10 bed located ina good traffic nouns will cost anywhere from $200,000 to startup including marketing costs.

An advertising base blog can be started anywhere from free to the cost of computer.

How much is enough? Enough to cover adjectives the costs involved, so you need to first establish on the business, then analyze adjectives the costs the business it entails
Totally depends on what type of business you want to start. Kool-aid stand almost 20 bucks. A really nice restaurant a few million. Good luck!
It really depends on your business ideas -
If you are serious afterwards your market research (which is essential) and business plan (also essential) should supply you the information you need...
Lots of shoes
it depends what business your space
As most respondends say, it depends on the type of business. You can start some businesses beside $10. Some others may take $10 billion dollars. To determine how much you stipulation, you should develop a business plan. Before you can do that, you need to study similar businesses so that you are competent to estimate your expected expenses and capital requirements during the initial length of opertion. Your question is so broad, the answers could saturate many books. In reality, that is a fitting way to start. Get some books on starting businesses, or on entrepreneurship and read them to develop a foundation for answering your own question.
As most of your answers are exceedingly similar It does cost quite like mad of money to get started beside lots of overheads with no guarentees any. You won't see any profits from your investment for at least 3 - 5 years.
If you fancy have a homebased business you can save an awful lot of money to start next to and start making money straight a way. It is flexible so can be done around your full time situation or other commitments.
If this is something that takes your interest, I know serveral race that are doing this and making good incomes from it and they seize ongoing help and support.

Can anyone explain why companies are charging so much for soft drinks in our time?

Question:
Red Bull 2.00
Starbucks Frappicinos 1.89 etc.

Why are these drinks so expensive? There is usually less as very well. There are not spending that much more money on drink production. What gives.

Personally I expect a lot of companies see exactly how much they can milk out of folks back agreeing on a over priced price tag.

What happen, did something NEW and amazing happen to soft drinks?

Answers:
Neither Red Bull nor Frappuccino are really soft drinks per se. Soft drinks contain mostly carbonated wet, sugar, corn syrup, caffeine and other crap you shouldn't be feeding your body if you really carefulness about it. However adjectives of those ingredients are quite cheap and the cost of soft drinks comes mostly from the shipping cargo required to get it to the store, and moderately packaging. Due to this, prices on soft drinks are recurrently quite probable, with the two key vendors, Coca-cola and Pepsi, alternating sale at most grocery stores. There are also all sorts of generic brands out here.

In the case of Frappuccino, which is a coffee drink, but still something that should be enjoy in moderation, the price is explainable. The coffee part of the drink is cheap, newly like soft drink ingredients, but the fatty chunk of the drink comes from modified dairy products with preservatives to hold on to it from souring without refrigeration. Further, the cup bottle packaging is significantly more expensive that the usual plastic or aluminum outer layer for soft drinks. Then you're also paying a premium for the Starbucks brand name.

The Red Bull one does mystify me though. In that baggage, there is no specific ingredient, covering, or shipping weight all your own that should cause a can of Red Bull to cost more than a two-liter of Pepsi, but it does.

You probably don't want to hear this, but I'd use this as an opportunity to hold yet another dutiful excuse to avoid these products. Water (the uncarbonated, uncaffeinated, unfruitinated kind) should be your best friend.
There is this simple matter of supply and constraint for "luxury" (ie - not required for daily survival) items. if you don't want to rate the price for the item, don't get it!
Its a liberal not here wing conspiracy.
Unfortunately - because they can!
If people would stop buying them at the soaring prices - the supply would out weigh the demand and the prices would drop.
Oh I hear ya!! My 16 year dated likes adjectives those new vitality drinks and in a convenience store they are $2.00 a pop! That is of late rediculous when a 2 liter costs what $1.59 w/deposit at the most!

Because they know if you like it, you will pay cheque for it!
It is not the soda but the PET bottles & the cost of fuel that have cause soda prices to go up.

Think in the order of it fuel prices are up - Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is made from some of the same stuff so it demonstrably is going to cost more to make the bottles. Plus beside fuel prices higher it is going to cost more to distribute the product.
Because they can , and the consumer will take-home pay ! Mostly due to the advertising of the products surrounded by todays` market beside the sublimital message in the advert being " BUY ME and you will be above adjectives who don`t buy me ".. Kinda` like "politicians" , it`s a power item !

Discuss two personal experiences surrounded by which you purchased a product that be not obedient. Why?

Question:
1. Product Name
2. Why was it not apposite.

Answers:
my first one was a Black and Decker bug wishy-washy for my husband's shop. I bought it at Walmart for $30. The thing didn't work and you individual heard a bug zap approaching every half hour or so. The problem next to it was it have a plastic screen on the front and the bugs would stop on the plastic and not get zapped. So my husband have the bright idea of taking the plastic covering stale it, and it pretty much fell apart. It lasted smaller quantity than a week.
The second thing I can estimate of is The Sims game for my computer. It be the complete edition. I installed it and it did nothing but effect problems for my computer. It would make it crash, even when I wasn't playing the Sims. Just have the files on my computer messed it up sooo bad. I uninstalled it and delete anything that had sims surrounded by the name and very soon haven't had anymore problems near my computer. It's not the computer that's slow or anything, other games work on it fine, just something just about that game really messed beside some of the essential files on my computer.
1. Standard toilet delivered and installed while I be not home. It wasn't what I ordered and it was filthy. I tried to obtain Lowe's to talk to me roughly speaking what was wrong, and get frustrated. I got the coordinator and he got me unmarked toilets.
2. Express Scripts Pharmacy- They screwed up a mail establish (I am required to use them by my provider). Eight weeks and six calls following, I was told for the concluding time that it was "surrounded by process" and i asked for a superviser. She confessed that they had screwed up the command and it wasn't "in process." I become a psycho ***** and I got the directive the next hours of daylight by federal express. They paid for the demand and the delivery charges,

My experience is to be nice and favourable, but ask as early as possible for the superviser and be ruthless about following up. Don't be a dull pain unless you run out of all other option. Then being a niggle works.
I can think of one right past its sell-by date, but I can't remember the name. It be a battery operate soldering iron.

I used it once on a very small project and the iron itself melt. I used it no more than 10 seconds and read every bit of instruction within the small pamphlet.

I took it back to Home Depot and they wouldn't dispense me a refund or replace it. They said nearby was a instructive not to let it draw from too hot.

A soldering pencil too hot? I never held down the button, I was fixing a necklace for my daughter, it literally took me 10 second.

So, no more battery operate soldering pencils for me. I'll stick with chords that cost smaller number and don't melt themselves.
1) Jewelery of a police auction website that also have independent dealers selling merchandise. The description indicated it be real, authentic, and listed carat size, etc. When it arrived it be fake. After emailing them, they offered to reimburse me smaller number shipping and restock fees, which would basically added even more dollars to a rare deal.
2)I ordered plants and bulbs from a letters order catalog and first did not take all plants indicated, secondly they be so small I could have planted a pip and have it be larger, and third, the bulbs never come up. Never again will I order from any of these places again.

Has anyone ever have to bring a discount from Paypal because the item you bought on eBay be broken?

Question:

Under the MY ACCOUNT tab choose RESOLUTION CENTER. Then on this choose REPORT A PROBLEM. It will cart you to another page. Choose ITEM DISPUTE. Then it will take you to another page asking for your paypal transaction number. There is an resort there for you to look the # up if you do not know it. This is a immensely user friendly way to database a dispute. I have have to do it twice, both times my money was refund. Good Luck :)
Yes. Read the item description carefully. If the item be misrepresented, file a dispute on Paypal.
powerfully i've tried to but the people on eBay are rip offs and never refund my items! I got a cell phone for me, my bro, and sis, and they be all suppousedly brand contemporary. yeah right, they all are crap and they solely partially refund two of the phones and they won't refund mine at adjectives. bastards. i'm never buying off of ebay ever again
yes i did. I ordered a set book book for uni course on their it stated that it was exotic and had no writting within or highlighting. Well recieved book and was highlighted throughout the book. I go on to paypal and went to resolution middle
Never tried but I heard that it is completely very difficult to even take an answer from Paypal, let alone expecting them to cough up!

An example:-

A guy bought some utensils off ebay and remunerated by paypal. The seller sent the stuff past its sell-by date on receiving confirmation of payoff from Paypal.
The guy got the apparatus OK but, several days later, he get a frantic email from the seller who thought he have been scammed because the Paypal salary bounced after he sent the kit.
Luckily, for the peddler, it was not a scam on this occassion but simply unpromising housekeeping on the part of the buyer who go into unauthorised overdraft that month causing the paypal giving to bounce when it hit his bank relatively a few days after Paypal reported 'Payment Complete' to the seller. The buyer person honest ( but embarrased) immediately stuck currency in the mound and tried to make an instant payment to Paypal. NO CHANCE, paypal have locked his account and invited him to re-activate mound details. Try as he might, he could not make an Payment to Paypal. He could not even dispatch the seller a postal sum because, as well as locking his vindication, paypal had also debit his account for the utensils he bought. The only opening to clear it and get the merchant his cash be to make a donation to Paypal but they won't let you till you trigger the account and that take like two weeks.
In the event, it took nearer 3 weeks for the guy to get hold of Paypal to accept a clearing, clear the account and wage the seller.
Job Done!
Err! not pretty. About a week after that, the guy got another email from the trader asking when is he gonna get rewarded...
JEEZ! What a nightmare.!

All through this debacle, both buyer and salesperson tried to contact Paypal. All they ever got be the standard ' Sorry you're having problems' type email clearly distinct with " Do not reply to this e-mail. this mail box is not man. you will not get a reply" sort of article. Neither parties ever manage to talk to anyone from Paypal who could hold sorted the thing surrounded by about 5 mins beside a quick visa compensation or something. But then , that's too assured innit!

Don't know how it ended, possibly Paypal kept the dosh..who knows, you can't ask them.

Problems beside Next internet and cell phone nuptials record?

Question:
Anyone else having this problem? When you direct a gift bad the Next wedding index, there is no longer the leeway to have it sent to the nativity address, due to the Data Protection Act (acording to Next). It now have to go to the guest's address. This be not explained before the document was compiled. 300 invitations hold been sent to guests and we are simply finding out that Next will not deliver to the Bride & Groom's address. The wedding is 5 weeks away, so unless we contact respectively guest to advise them, they enjoy to bring the gift themselves, unless obviously they are not coming to the wedding! What a company.

Answers:
surely it doesn't concern to them where it adjectives gets deliver? how strange, what if the guests put the bride and grooms address down as their own address? Then when the goods own been convey they can contact them and tell them they enjoy changed address so the bills will go to the right place, seem a bit of a kerfuffle but it could be one way around it
this is wierd - since u can dispatch flowers, present, just in the region of anything from ebay to anyone as long as you pay

How do you answer interviews question 'what are your strengths / weaknesses'?

Question:
I have an interview on Thursday and one of the question they are going to ask is what my strengths and weaknesses are!

I am a receptionist / administrator.

Can anyone furnish me examples of how to answer this question?

Answers:
Your strengths are pretty obvious, they are the devout things that an administrator is required to have, organized, punctual, friendly, doesn`t matter what. The weaknesses also own to be strengths, i.e. sometimes you spend too much time on a task because you are a perfectionist and produce a final product i.e. more than what people expected. However since you are so hardworking, you of late spend a little extra time after work to get sure you don't fall bringing up the rear in your other responsibilities.
Think going on for what your Mother would say almost you. She will be the only honest one.
I used to other say for the fear that I couldnt be first in every flash and for strength, attention to detail and reliability is usually pretty good.
As much as possible, enlighten them how your strengths can be valuable to your employer. Obviously your employer will love you to let somebody know them as many strengths as you hold. As for your weaknesses, be honest roughly speaking them but be sure to emphasise that you learned something from them (and try to explain how you knowledgeable from them or how they made you a better person).

Good luck!
The answer by Redwine is good. As for weakness, you may want to mention something that does not affect your job. For example, you enjoy a hard time resisting chocolate although you know it make it harder to control your weight. Or you steal too much time getting ready for work, but you definitely refuse to be slow, and as a result you leave your bedroom messy, but you disgust to come home to a messy bedroom.

After you mention such weaknesses to show that you endorse yourself as having them, permit the interviewer know that you understand he is more concerned near weaknesses that might affect your position. There you have to be honest and turn your honesty into an help. Try to show how some of your weaknesses can in actual fact be beneficial to the company. "I get upset when I manufacture a mistake, and I have to force myself to silent down so that I can correct it" shows that you are willing to grant to mistakes but take the essential steps to correct them. "I dislike being call 'honey' by my boss. That's reserved for my husband" shows that you view your mission as a formal business relationship and not a social club.

The important entity is that you think almost this before mitt so that you come up with honest answers.
As a person that have done a lot of interviewing, I would similar to to hear the truth. What do you consider your strengths are. Good vocabulary, strong computer skills, good tuition, bull dog approach to tasks, Always on time, don't informant, etc.
Your weaknesses I don`t know have trouble prioritizing, softness or shy, too outgoing, etc. I would stick to work strengths and weaknesses. Don't be too specific and don't be too glum.

What are some of the implication of have a lofty level of operating leverage?

Question:

Answers:
A high point of operating leverage means that the company have a high proportion of fixed costs relative to total costs. Therefore a small increase surrounded by sales revenue will result within a relatively high increase surrounded by net income. High operating leverage is found contained by manufacturing companies that hold large investments surrounded by fixed assets. Businesses that rely more heavily on labor costs rather than equipment enjoy relatively low operating leverage. It takes a roomy percentage increase in sale to have web income increase a small amount. here are two examples:
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Company A . . . Company B
Revenue . . . . . . . . . . . . $100 . . . . . . . . $100
Variable cost . . . . . . . . . . .60 . . . . . . . . . . 60
Contribution margin . . .. . . .40 . . . . . . . . . . 40
Fixed costs . . . . . . . . . . . .20 . . . . . . . . . . 10
Net income . . . . . . . . . . .$20 . . . . . . . . . .$30

A's leverage is $40/10 = 4
B's leverage is $40/30 = 1.33

A 20 percent increase contained by revenue for each company will increase A's income 20% x 4 = 80%. 80% x $20 = $16. Net income will be $36, which is 80 percent complex than before.

B's 20 percent increase within sales will increase web income by 26.7 percent (20% x 1.33) to $38.

B's income was 50 percent better than A's originally. Because of the higher operating leverage of A, after a 20 percent increase surrounded by revenue for both, A's income is now almost like peas in a pod as B's.
