Their are a couple of reason why bosses suck. Some bosses are inexperienced at interpersonal communication skills.Basically, they just don't know how to confer to people within a respectful manner. Some bosses also own giant egos. They be aware of that once they have reach a certain position team should bow down to them.
I never had problems next to my bosses. I could always see what needed to be done and did it. They purely let me do as I pleased. I get raises as they be available.

Bosses "suck" because they are the ones tasked near making the hard decision that aren't always pleasing to the hand. A balance between a personable and business driven attitude requirements to be found. Keep in mind that your boss may also enjoy a boss that sucks. Just remember to learn from what you see and don't repeat when sooner or later you are a boss of somebody.

A manager may own been promoted to their position because they be the best seller/producer, but the company didn't look at the manager's interpersonal skills. I've seen this take place way too much. You don't own to be the best sales entity to be a good controller, you must have empire skills.
New managers may hold difficulties making the switch from employee to boss. There will be growing pains for this officer and the employees.

If I am understanding your cross-question right, it should be the cashiers responsibility to make sure adjectives of the money-- cash or otherwise is accounted for, but different companies enjoy different policies-- I would make sure that I know what your companies policy is in the past something really bad happen.
I would think that the desk clerk is responsible for anything they ring up if it doesn't balance the shutting down of the night. However, the waitress can't other make sure that citizens don't sneak out. Who ever watches the doors should make sure that someone have paid. If you are a waitress though, for influence drinks and you are paying the bartender out of your portion of the tips, making change out of your own money and later collecting from customer to put back contained by your pocket, then you are responsible and hold to keep a tighter hold on keeping the customers paying on the dot.
