I work for KBR for a year and I have lost adjectives motivation to work after 1 year. Layoffs, uncertain futures and want of care for younger workers. Should i give up the company for a better competitor or stay and see if i can advance

Good manager know how to motivate and nurture their employees. I would verbs and seek employment elsewhere.
You can try a competitor but to a point the motivation have to come from within. Is this type of opportunity really interesting to you and what you want to be doing? If not you may want to look for a change to something (maybe an entire work chage) that interests you more.

Anyhow, do the best you can until you find out what (or where) you really want to be doing/ working.

Ok I tried it in the other slot and no one answered so...

So... I'm 20, of late got a career as a database analyst, 9-5 of course but I don't really hold anything to do in this work... just something once surrounded by a while, but that takes up almost not any of my time. The other 6 hours I stare at a screen or a short time paper trying to look busy. So here is the ask... what can I do to entertain myself? Something online or rotten works. Please don't say "see porn and masturbate" or "get drunk and run around the office"... It have to be something fun, time consuming and inconspicuous as people are sorta walking around. I know not a soul really cares but I surface weird if other ancestors see me playin hold'em on yahoo... This suck, I don't even have anyone my age to droop out with here, it's adjectives people my parents' age... Help me find something to preserve me entertained for 6 hours!

Hard to enunciate since we don't really know you, and what you like (what I'd answer for me may not work for you - and I've spent years face with this question). My suggestion is write down things you really enjoy. Then walk about trying to amount out how to do those things or something related to those things on the computer. Find websites that talk almost those things (but still may look a bit work-ish). Write your ideas on stuff (nobody read or cares more or less a document if thats up on your screen - it looks workish).

Also, FYI, one article to do that looks like you are working. Put up a glass with something work-ish (but really boring) on it, after surf the internet via a 2nd window. Whenever someone enter your cubicle just hit alt-enter to switch to the work skylight. When they leave alt-enter moves you subsidise. You may want to put a few other work windows uncap to just so on the bottow where on earth the windows are scheduled 5 of 6 open window are work realted. Even though one isn't it still seems approaching you were doing alot of work and I don`t know had the later one open as a diversion.

Or look at the data available and write some theory test programs to see if they would be of interest. Do you have any other skills? Maybe you can oblige and extend your job experience. If all of the ethnic group are "old" then they are not solid confident as to what computers can do for them. Defaulting on a cellular phone co. contract?

My sister runs a small company which she recently default on a contract with a mobile phone co. She had a 3 or 4 year contract and when here is about one year remaining on her existing contract, she cancelled her service and go with another mobile co. provider for a much less monthly bill. She did not sign personal, and signed as a corporate officer next to the co. of which she had defulted on. Her small business is still operating, and the previous co. obiously is trying to collect on her. Qestion (1) Is she intuitively liable in any road, when shed signed as an corporate officer? She said she is a Sub-s corp. Q(2): The collection co. left her a message stating that they are going to persuit this due to she is violate federal law, and public utility issues. Her co. is debt free, and will never get your hands on any outside credit, my thinking is should she even bother with finding a attorney since she signed corporately, and it's a small co. with no debt? Any recommend?

If the contract was next to the company, then no she is not individually responsible. Still, read the contract carefully and clear sure it is clearly between the comapny (not her) and the phone company ie make sure in that isn't some sort of wording in the contract that she will earnings on behalf of the company if the company does not pay.

For the 2nd sound out, they can go after the company contained by court but even if they get a judgement its pretty complex to enforce. Unless at least a neutral amount of money is at stake they probably won't bother. I wouldn't get a attorney until you see some indication they are taking this to court (more than just words or a standard "please pay" collection letter).

I don't know but it seems that whenever I'm surrounded by a Wal Mart store, the employees are any gosipping about one another, angry next to their co-workers, having problems beside their boss or talking just about how they are fed up next to their jobs. Has anyone notice this? I mean the minute I hoof it past the greeter, I am surrounded by soap opera territory. I have be grocery shopping for years and have gone to stores such as Kroger, Minyards, Albertsons, Winn Dixie, HEB and Super Target and hold never encountered this type of routine coming from their employees. It appears as if it is a short time ago the Wal Mart employees.

Just yesterday I be in a Wal Mart store and I overhead a co worker dictum she wanted to die and that she didn't resembling what she was doing. Any Wal Mart workers contained by here care to respond?

Yes. Most of them. I think it's because they are underpaid and over worked. That's at profusely of places though. That's sad though. Wal-mart should know how to pay their workforce quit a bit because they seemed to be one of the most profitable companies contained by the world.

In places that employ full-size amounts of people you'll other have gossip. Although its pretty unprofessional for them to discuss things within audible range range of customers. Also alot of general public are short-tempered this time of year because of the heat.
I worked at Wal-Mart for just about a month and it really is hell. There are 3 types of people working at Wal-Mart. #1 Managers who are super stuck up inflict apparently being at director at Wal-Mart and earning $11/hr at the age of 50 is a huge achievemnt for them so they treat everyone else close to $h17... I mean they really do treat you weakly. I'm 20, but I have better coaching than all these relations combined, I do business at U of Michigan but yet they thought I be some retard. #2 Are the really stupid, ugly, heavy employees who Wal-Mart hires to appeal to the standard public that shops there. Notice how they adjectives look the same. I don't know how they conscript them but they are all around 50, short, corpulent and ugly. They are the ones gossipin and also making time hell for other people basically cause they are so stupid. #3 are the conventional people who whine and moan basis they are surrounded by all the stupid citizens who make it impossible to work. It's not really that the work is impossible, its just everyone around is stupid. I literally stopped comming to the break room after in the region of a week because the conversations of these retards irritated me that much...
walmart hires the people that not a soul else will hire so when you get them adjectives together in one building they are a bunch of losers. the manager are from fast food places that made it long plenty to get away from flippin burgers to scrub toilets.but i feel for these society and they need to bring to the fore the minimum wage so these people can engineer more money cause walmart have the money. they just requirement to take vigilance of their employees.
I've hear gossiping by the workers also. Very unprofessional, but it have happened at Macy's also. I contemplate it happens everywhere. Its basically whether or not you were looking to listen to someone.

Today, they get into a big argument and his supervisor called him a "B" and get in his facade. My husband pushed him down because he is not what you'd call a punk.

If you lived in Northern Iraq and looked-for to start a business I'm sure you could - selling whatever surrounded by the market, or something. Yes its still terrifying but the Iraqi people still requirement the same things as the rest of us.
