Im sick of big companies employing BS Managers to report me im a crap worker when im not, im a great worker who enjoys chitchat with customers and helping them out. Anyway thoughts anyone?
I only just hate the approach retail has evolved, it used to if truth be told be fun. And the customer USED to be very valued, very soon it feels approaching we have to procure every ounce of money from them. Promoting Store cards etc.
Its just ridiculous, and later the companies tell us they aint making money so they regulation this and that. Highering the targets, varying the layouts, redundancies.it never ends. yeah i work within retail. i don't care going on for my targets though i simply try to be very moral at my job so i don't obtain shouted at by customers. if i do miss my targets it is a bit of a morale drain but i know nearby will always be a errand for me somewhere (provided i don't do anything too stupid)
I know where you are coming from near this one, I have be in retail direction for 24 years and am sick to the hilt of it now, so I enjoy made a totally different career modify within the finishing 6 months, Bosses, companies and even joe public do not repect those at the front line who seize all the harm, Management in retail win pitance for putting up with assault from the gen public There is nothing worse than that ripened saying 'The customer is other right' Bull!! the gen public have a tendancy of playing on this making the retailers life span hell, just so they can bring back a freebie or money back. Yeah, I also work in retail. Have done for 3 and partly years. I like you, wallow in helping the customer, and am very polite at it, probably the best at my place of work.
As far as targets jump, yes we get them, and yes, we return with prompted "Gotta meet this target, gotta draw together that target.". Normally though, where I work, they try bribery, next to things like barbeques for the workers, ect. If we don't meet a target, after we just are asked to work harder to join it next time. Never have a manager chew me out for not reaching it, I hope they don't try to any. Way I see it, yes, people on the shop floor work the sale, but it's the managers responsibility to do adjectives the number crunching and aid you to reach that target, not your responsibility alone.

i alwaysgets over looked at work i do everything train new relatives help out near one off tasks - however this one guy who doesn't do much work passes the unyielding stuff onto other people - get paid a bonus - it is a rarety contained by out place that nayone gets a bonus on the other hand he did - is it worth speaking to my manager and asking why he get one or putting my head down and getting on near things till i find something else. this isnt the only point where thigs liek this own happend it so disheartening.
