2nd interview and income examine?
Question:
Hi! I had my 2nd interview next to Macy's today. And it came as a big surprise when the interviewer (not like one as my 1st interview) asked me to read a job profile which be for the position of Assistant Selling Manager when I had in reality applied for a Selling Associate/Selling Support Associate positions. Anyway, I thought the interview was going okay and then she mentioned that this is an hourly position and so on and later looking at my paperwork said, "I see that you put your salary requirement to be $9 ...". (It be an online application where I HAD to click on a specific dollar breadth or something ... if there be a "negotiable" button, I'm sure I'd have clicked on it) I said, "yes, that be for those other positions that I'd applied for...". She goes "yes, $9 is moral for this position" or something to that effect! I came home and did a remuneration check and see that $33,000 is the average for the position for this area. What give?
Answers:
The good piece is that this is a free country. You don't have to bear the job if it is offered. Chances are here will be another interview. At that point explain that you had jam-packed out an on line application and didn't see any place to put conveyable. You feel that the investigational position is more responsibility and therefore should earnings more. That according to your research the average is $33,000. Then be quiet and agree to them say the subsequent thing. They will probably submit you more if you are a good runner.
Good Luck.
Congratulations on your interview. They will try and get by giving you the lowest possible amount possible. However, each post level should own a salary gamut.
You can always enter a net negotiation session if this is necessary.

Is "business" basically another track of truism, "how can I screw empire out of money?"?
Question:
Answers:
Yes, it's the 95% making the other 5% richer.
nah.. most business transaction require a willing buyer and a of a mind seller. However, "government" is a different story.
I don't regard as so. There are a lot of legal businesses that provide services and products that people stipulation because we all don't hold time to make our own food and clothes.
And, in that is the saying, "permit the buyer beware" as well as "a sucker and his money are soon parted" and finally, "if it seem too good to be true, it probably is" . con artists live by adjectives three of those because people would a bit get something for nought (or literally nothing) than actually working for it.

What is Wal-Mart's minimum wage within Ca??
Question:
Answers:
If you're a female, the minimum you will grasp at Wal Mart is oppression. You might manufacture a few bucks in the process, and settlement with crap co-workers and crappier customers to boot.
My warning: stay in university and learn a trade so you don't hold to work at Hell Mart.
it depends its gonna be at least 5.85 raison d`¨ētre thats what the fed min wage is
yes walmart will payment more than the min wage.my aunt makes 8$ hr working at walmart.
When a man strikes his mannish or female slave next to a rod so hard that the slave dies lower than his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a year or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)
As of today, $5.85. Do you honestly think Walmart is going to wage more than what the government requires?
ITS THE SAME ALL OVER THE COUNTRY
There is a Federal Minimum Wage that applies to ALL states (currently $5.85/hour) but respectively state can set their own minimum wage above the Federal minimum. California is currently $7.50/hour. It goes up to $8/hour within January '08.
As of today the federal minimum wage is $5.85 per hour. But states can have their own rules.
The categorical minimum:
On September 12th, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed SB1835, which raised the 2007 California minimum wage to $7.50 on January 1, 2007, and to $8 an hour on January 1, 2008
$7.50 very soon, going to $8.00 in January 2008.
Details...
considering California's minimum wage will increase to $8 at the fall of the year, it has to be at lowest that by then. Right presently it's probably around $7.50 or so.

Accounting/Finance Question?
Question:
Can anyone discuss quantitatively of how you would evaluate these competing projects.
Division A
Increasing the investment in Receivables within hopes of generating extra sales and profit.
The total upfront investment would be $10M, and lolly flows from year one to infinity would be 1,700,000 per year
2) Division B
Carrying 45 days of inventories instead of 30 days, in hopes of reducing the cost of lost sale.
This new policy requires a total upfront investment of $10Million, and dosh flows from year one to infinity would be 1,500,000 per year.
In both cases the financial projections are reasonable, and both investments are strategically equally relevant to H.
Answers:
First of adjectives the answer is simple with few assumptions, but I don't see how you can invest contained by receivables. Receivables are sales done on credit.
Now the answer where on earth we have to assume the discount rate of read aloud 15%., cost of capital at 15%
1) NPV= (1.7/0.15) -10mn = 1.13mn
IRR, 1.7/irr = 10,
irr = 17%
wage back time = 10/1.7=5.9yrs
2)NPV = (1.5/0.15) - 10 mn= 1mn
IRR, 1.5/irr=10,
irr = 1.5/10= 15%
pay rear legs period = 10/1.5=6.7yrs.
From the above calculation first one is a better investment since it gives better irr, payback NPV.
NOTE: PV of perpetuity = Cashflow/discount rate.
