Credit Card Fraud! Followed the directions but company wont dispense me my money rear! Help!?
On January 8, 2007 I got a charge on my Capital One reason that I didn't make. It be at a Canadian gas station and I live in Arizona. I call and disputed it, they refunded the money, and closed the information. In March 2007, I got a reminder with a copy of the taking and got told they didn't see a problem so they recharged me. The message said I could fax them a letter stating that I didn't receive the charge so I did.I have call several times and each time I draw from told that I did everything correctly. Each person I articulate to tells me they can't do anything but dispatch an email to the people that can. Each time an email is sent, the fraud those have 30 days to any say that they aren't refund the money or that they are. I have not hear anything from the company since getting the letter contained by March 2007.
Can I report Capital One to some organization? I own talked to supervisors and maintain getting told they can't do anything but send an email someone else.
Answers: I work for a credit card company. But not Capitol One. I one-sidedly don't like their service.
First entry: Have you been contacting them since March of '07? If you haven't call in several months, you don't enjoy much chance of self refunded.
If it is a voluminous charge, you may want to contact an attorney. Otherwise, you may consider writing a certified letter to the Disputes Department at Capitol One and enjoy it Carbon Copied to the Better Business Bureau. (addresses below)
Your heading for the carbon copy on both letters would be:
Attention: Capitol One Disputes Department
CC: Better Business Bureau
To Whom It May Concern,
You want to switch on your letter by stating that you are lodging a formal complaint as to the treatment you hold received during your dispute. In your letters minute all the information surrounded by chronological order. Also details the times you have call in to the best of your know-how...It may also be a good impression to note that you never changed address (I am assuming you didn't) so any letters to you should enjoy arrived.
Also, I urge you to pay bad the card and close the account.

It's never a apposite idea to treaty with disputed charges over the phone, fax, or email. Always use the accurate old communication.
Send a certified, return receipt epistle to Capitol One. List all the pains you have made to clear this up. It may be too behind schedule to get a return at this point. Hopefully it wasn't a large amount.
Save your postage next to the Better Business Bureau. They are a private organization that hold absolutely no power to enforce anything. They can't even control their own member.
What credit rack up ranges are considered A1, A3 etc.?
For example, a bank told me that consumers beside scores over 700 are "A" credit it. Over 770 be A1 credit... Does anyone know the brackets for these ranges?Answers: Those brackets are made up by each company and will ebb and flow from bank to ridge, or from dealer to contractor, or whomever you are borrowing from.
