Brenda bought a swimming pool by obtaining an 8% accessory interest installment loan fromthe bank. The pool cost $2,400, and the hill required a 15% down payment and equal
monthly payments for two years. How much is Brenda’s monthly settlement?
A. $85.00 C. $98.60
B. $86.36 D. $116.0
I am getting $91.80 and it's doesn't fit in the answers choice...somebody please explain what I am doing wrong...gratefulness
Answers: 2400-15%down payment=(360)
2400-(360)=2040
2040/24=85
85+(8%x2years)=98.60
Is this a hypotetical question or does Brenda really exist?
If she does, in that might be loan origination fees added and/or some insurance added to the loan so that might be the reason for the difference.
i am getting 92.26 on a nouns calculator.
Is anyone else contained by their overdraft respectively month?
because im forever init! it gets me so down sometimes! i acquire out of it then im stern init, i seriously need to win the lotto!Answers: Happened to me contained by Jan and I was PISSED!
I call the bank and give them some sob story and they were competent to credit my account near the fees.
Then they signed me up (with my permission) a credit card that would 'catch' the charges.
If your bank have this as an option, please try to do that.
From what I am told, the credit card will ensnare the overdrafts for a flat rate fee of $10.00. that could retrieve you hundreds and you wont have to settle up it back adjectives at once on weeks were you are a bit short on the change so you can pay it put money on bit by bit.
Investigate that and see if you can find a card with no annual charge too.
I live on my overdraft.
I dont let it find to me but then again, its solitary 300 quid so its not too bad...
What's an overdraft?
yeh as you would expect - the banks practically invite it
It happen to many ancestors, more than most will admit. The reduction is horrible, and people are only trying to survive. Most banks permit you overdraft in lay down for them to make money within this sinking economy. I try thorny not to overdraft, but from time to time it happens anyway. Bills are other knocking at your door!
I used to be contained by my overdraft quiet alot around 3 years ago. You inevitability to try and minimize your spending.
If you buget your money carefully, you should not entail an overdraft.
I'm always within my overdraught, unfortunately
Being sued for credit card dept?
i just want to know. if i be in motion to court and the judge sets up a low monthly compensation plan. what happens if down the road i gain laid off and can't afford to trademark a payment?do you shift back to court?
do you turn to jail?
what happen then?
Answers: when you run to court there will be no 'low monthly plan'!
Depending on your state, it will be a undisputed percentage of your income.
This amount will be garnished from your wages.
You will also be responisble for court costs and attorney's fees.
I am not sure what happen if you lose your job but you will NOT shift to jail. There is no debtors sentence to prison (where would everyone be housed?)!
If you haven't filed your income taxes already, why not profile and use that money to see if you can give them a lump sum pay to avoid the garnishment.
The worst that they can say is 'no' and what will you enjoy lost at that point.
Your creditor will win a judgment which is upright for 10 years and renewable. If they can't garnish your wages exact you lost your job, they can loaf till you get another duty. Meanwhile, interest continues to accrue.
You're better off settling until that time going to court.
In some states the judge can set a settlement, but in most states the Judge CAN NOT require the creditor to give somebody a lift payments. You need to check you local and state law.
Where I live a judge can solitary order perspicacity for th amount owed, and can NOT order the creditor to lift paymnets from a debtor.
You can be put i njail for not paying, but if it is a court order you can be placed within contempt of court. ANd if the creditor orders a Debtor Exam and you faile to show consequently you have a Failure to Appear n you copy and a bench warrant issued for your arrest.
SuSu you really got some bleak answers here, so let me back me you out.
Gizmo, cap and Lisa S are adjectives WRONG. Judges can and do order stipend plans that you can afford. This is the case contained by the MAJORITY of states. It helps even more if you can provide proof that you attempted to settle the debt back it went to court and the creditor decline.
You will NEVER go to reformatory for an unpaid debt, it is a civil matter, not a criminal thing.
If something happens where on earth you cannot meet your monthly clearance, your best bet is to call the creditor and the courts without beating about the bush and explain what happened. More recurrently than not they will cut you a break if you have be good more or less making your payments up til that point.
Remember wage garnishment and putting liens on property can get expensive, so it is contained by their best interest to work with you in the past going that route.
Starbright posted an excellent link, lots of well-mannered info there. You can also check this one out, as in that is lots of good free info here as well.

linger! all OK answers but it adjectives depends on the JUDGE. If you have a pro consumer a low return will happen, pro creditor forget in the order of a low payment plan. If you are looking at a hulking amount 5k or more i would get some lawful advise, shift to your court house---do some calling around. This may be your key SETTLING OUT OF COURT. this is the best resort and when a creditor sees you hold a attorney representing you they tend to get freaked out. I am betting a attorney will carry that settled for half of the symmetry with a unprejudiced payment plan, use your toll refund-upcoming stimulus check for a down payment.
well-mannered luck again it is free to call attorneys and they will advocate you on this case, not most of these posts on runeye.com that appear to be all over the board IMHO
